    This study explores the implementation of cognitive learning theory in teaching Qowaidul Imla’, particularly within the context of Arabic instruction for non-native speakers. Adopting an axiomatic approach that integrates linguistic and learning theories, the research emphasizes that successful language acquisition depends significantly on an in-depth understanding of both the nature of language and the mental processes involved in learning. Cognitive theory posits that learners actively construct knowledge through cognitive processes such as chunking, scaffolding, and retrieval practice. At UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, the application of this approach in Qowaidul Imla’ instruction led to a marked improvement in students’ comprehension and writing abilities. Rather than simply delivering technical rules, lecturers encouraged students to grasp the underlying logic of Arabic orthographic structures. The use of cognitive strategies also enhanced learners’ confidence, engagement, and reflective capacity in addressing writing errors. Thus, cognitive theory not only offers a robust conceptual foundation for instructional design but also contributes meaningfully to creating Arabic language learning that is meaningful, contextualized, and aligned with how the human mind processes information

    This research investigates how perceptions of fairness within the organization and the ethical conduct of leaders shape the innovative capacity of personnel at the South Buru Regency Trade Office. Innovation within this institution is particularly crucial because the agency faces challenges related to distribution networks, supply chain limitations, and the need to improve licensing and trade service processes. Strengthening employees’ innovative capability is therefore essential for enhancing efficiency, supporting regional economic development, and improving public service quality. The study adopts a descriptive-quantitative design with a causal-correlational framework, emphasizing that the independent variables are considered contributors to changes occurring in the dependent variable. The entire workforce of the South Buru Regency Trade Office, consisting of 57 employees, served as the research population, and because the group was relatively small, a saturated sampling technique was applied. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression procedures. The findings reveal that: (1) organizational justice provides a measurable contribution to enhancing employees’ innovation capabilities, (2) ethical leadership also plays a significant role in strengthening innovative behavior among employees, and (3) when considered simultaneously, both organizational justice and ethical leadership jointly exert an influence on the innovation ability of employees within the South Buru Regency Trade Office

    Jami’atul Qurro’ Islamic Boarding School Palembang has experienced a steady increase in new student enrollment over recent years, from 131 students in 2022/2023 to 221 in 2023/2024, and 289 in 2024/2025. However, in the 2025/2026 academic year, the number of applicants declined to 266 students. This decrease serves as an important indicator that requires further examination, especially regarding the reach and impact of the pesantren’s promotional strategies. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observations, and documentation with nine informants: one public relations officer, six students, and two parents. The analysis applies the promotion mix theory, which includes advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct marketing. The findings show that the effectiveness of Public Relations strategies lies in their focus on building the institution’s image, trust, and moral credibility. The pesantren’s promotional success is influenced by program quality, leadership reputation, community participation, and the ability to present religious values in a compelling and relevant way

    Dinamika dan problematika kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia

    This study explores the dynamics and challenges of implementing Islamic education policies at various educational levels in Indonesia, from primary to higher education. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach, it analyzes how these policies contribute to national education goals and address structural issues. The findings show that despite systematic regulation, significant obstacles remain, including unequal distribution and quality of educators, disparities in facilities between urban and rural areas, unstable curricula, and weak institutional coordination. These problems are compounded by limited professional training and insufficient integration of Islamic values and religious moderation. The authors proposed solutions, such as digitalizing Islamic education, strengthening teacher competence, reforming context-based curriculum, and increasing community involvement. The study highlights the importance of participatory and locally responsive policy reform to improve the quality and relevance of Islamic education in Indonesia

    This study describes the association between the walking activity and then knowledge of energy concepts and metabolism in everyday life. This study utilized an embedded mixed methods design. Data on steps taken and calories consumed were recorded over a three month period (April-June 2025) using the Samsung Health application. The findings reveal fluctuations in physical activity, with particularly high levels occurring in May. The step count was shown to be positively associated with the calorie expenditure. Reflection revealed that the walks were a successful means of allowing the researchers to make sense of concepts of energy and metabolism. The present study finds that students can learn science during physical activity, and is a good method to narrow the theory and practice gap between the students’ life relation in the context of science learning gradually

    The political education curriculum plays a crucial role in fostering political awareness and participation among young generations from an early age. This study aims to analyze the role of the political education curriculum in enhancing students’ political awareness and participation in schools, identify the challenges in its implementation in Indonesia, and offer solutions to improve its effectiveness. Using a qualitative approach through library research, the study finds that a curriculum integrated with democratic values, civic participation, and contextual learning can positively encourage students’ involvement in political life. However, challenges such as teachers’ limited competencies, inadequate teaching materials, and cultural resistance hinder its optimal implementation. As a solution, strengthening teacher capacity, updating curriculum content to reflect current socio-political dynamics, and promoting collaboration between schools, government, and civil society organizations are necessary. Therefore, the political education curriculum in schools, when implemented effectively, can function as a strategic tool to foster a democratic, participative, and critical generation of citizens

    Pemenuhan nafkah terhadap anak oleh single parent perspektif sosiologi hukum Islam: Studi pada masyarakat Bangkinang Kota

    This study examines the fulfillment of child maintenance obligations (nafkah) by single parents in Bangkinang Kota, Riau, Indonesia, through an Islamic legal sociology perspective. Using qualitative descriptive methodology, this research involved in-depth interviews with six single parent informants, all widowed mothers, selected through purposive sampling across four administrative areas. The study reveals that despite structural and economic challenges, single parents successfully fulfill the three main components of Islamic nafkah (food, clothing, and shelter) by implementing the principle of capability adjustment (min wus’atih) prescribed in Islamic law. They develop adaptive strategies including income diversification, social network optimization, and priority-based resource allocation that prioritize children’s needs. The findings demonstrate that single parents maintain both material and spiritual nafkah through intensive communication and moral guidance, compensating for the absence of a spouse. This research contributes to contemporary Islamic family law discourse by showing how traditional principles can adapt to modern social realities while preserving core Islamic values

    Kontribusi Ilmu Nahwu dan Shorof Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Tafsir Al-Qur’an: Studi pada Peserta MTQ Cabang Tafsir Bahasa Arab

    This study examines the influence of Nahwu (syntax) and Shorof (morphology) on Qur’anic interpretation skills among participants of the Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) in Arabic tafsir category. Using a descriptive qualitative design, the research was conducted at the East Java LPTQ for one semester (four months) and involved three informants (two participants and one coach) through in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed thematically using coding and category consolidation. The findings identify a three-fold thematic model in which grammatical mastery enhances interpretive performance through (1) increased confidence in articulating syntactic reasoning, (2) improved accuracy in i’rab, and (3) more coherent structural mapping of verses. Limited training time and uneven coaching intensity emerge as major constraints. The study contributes a preliminary conceptual model linking levels of Nahwu-Shorof proficiency with MTQ tafsir performance, offering an empirical basis for evaluating and structuring future MTQ training programs

    Integrasi Epistemologi Bayani, Burhani dan Irfani dalam Pembentukan Ilmu Pendidikan Islam Kontemporer

    The rapid advancement of science and technology in the twenty-first century has reshaped human conceptions of knowledge and reality, contributing to a global crisis of meaning rooted in secular and positivistic epistemologies that separate truth from moral and spiritual values. Within Islamic education, this tension appears in the dichotomy between religious and worldly sciences, creating fragmentation and imbalance. This study examines the integration of three classical Islamic epistemologies: bayani which is textual and normative, burhani which is rational and empirical, and irfani which is intuitive and spiritual as a conceptual basis for reconstructing the philosophy of Islamic education. Using a qualitative approach through literature analysis of primary and secondary sources from scholars such as al Ghazali and Syed Muhammad Naquib al Attas, the findings show that integrating these epistemologies produces a holistic framework that harmonizes revelation, reason, and spiritual intuition. This model offers an alternative to secular education by promoting intellectual, moral, and spiritual balance and fostering ethically responsible individuals

    Autonomy and Responsibility in Self-Directed Learning: A Correlational Study on Students’ Learning Motivation

    This study aims to examine the relationship between learning motivation and learning autonomy in Fiqh learning at Al Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, Bandar Lampung. A quantitative correlational design was employed. The sample consisted of 32 third-grade Wustho students, representing the entire population (N = 32). Data were collected using validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson correlation. The results revealed a very weak correlation between learning motivation and learning autonomy (R = 0.030), with a coefficient of determination of R² = 0.001. The significance test yielded a Sig. value of 0.873 (> 0.05), indicating that the relationship between the two variables is not statistically significant. These findings suggest that learning motivation explains only a negligible proportion of the variance in students’ learning autonomy within the context of Fiqh learning in a pesantren environment
