Therefore, it is obligatory for a woman to fulfill these responsibilities. A woman may fulfill these responsibilities as a mother, sister, and wife and as a daughter. If a woman does not perform these rights and duties while living in a Muslim society, this act will not only effect on her but also the whole society. Islam has given equal rights to men as well as woman if a man is given external rule; the woman is not only the caretaker of the house, but also the guardian and caretaker of the house internally. In this article, the rights and duties of widows in Dera Ghazi Khan are examined in the light of Islamic perspectives

Before Islam, women lived a life of total oppression. They had no rights. They were looked down upon. The Arabs themselves used to treat women badly. Women were also deprived of their basic rights. Woman was considered a bad thing. It was considered ominous. Men had the right to choose the best things for themselves and set aside the worst kind of things for women. Prior to Islam, the polytheists of Arabia used to bury their daughter alive as soon as they were born for fear of maintaining their honor and dignity and not bowing down to anyone. Women were treated worse than animals and they had no respect whatsoever. There were rituals in the name of marriage which made woman a useless thing. The woman did not have any kind of honor, chastity or respect. Islam has given women a dignified life. Islam gave respect to women in society, gave them their true identity, gave them their rights, gave them equal respect and dignity and gave them equal status with men. Islam has removed the curse of perpetual curse on women and made them sacred. This article deals with the pre-Islamic status of women and the respect and dignity that Islam has given them

The few lines of the Torah in which the Lord promised Abraham that he would give this land to his descendants serve as the foundation for their claim to the region of Palestine. They identify themselves as descended from their forefathers and assert that God had told them that He would only grant them the right to this land. Although the Jews have long claimed to be the rightful proprietors of Palestine, they have only really had control over it for a short period—about a hundred years. Jews have been ruled over by other countries on this territory for many years, and even now, if their government is still in place, it is because of backing and assistance from other countries. But despite these historical realities, Jews attempted numerous theoretical and actual attempts to overthrow the Muslim administration in Palestine and establish Jewish control in this area. This essay looks at how Jews related to this area historically, established their control and made it the core of their aspirations

Whether East or West, the stature of Prophet Muhammad (upon whom be peace) is an acknowledged one because of his magnanimity which is not reserved for Muslims alone. The resolution of the conflicts in his life had not only been creative and constructive but also non-violent; achieving sustainable development goals simultaneously. This paper analyses the situation at the conquest of Makkah from the life of the last Prophet in Islam from the perspective of sustainable development. It explores the situation as early as the Treaty of Hudaibiya and examines it under the framework of the United Nation’s sustainable development goals and popular nongame theory of negotiation reviewed by P.H. Gulliver. It, therefore, concludes that the Seerah of the Prophet is a progressive tool to transpire the national and international agenda for sustainable development and can serve as an approach towards multi-disciplinary collaboration to attain peace in the region and ultimately in the whole wide world

To protect future generations, sustainable development is a topical issue in the globalised information age. Islam is a style of life that takes into account the challenges of human sustainability and is founded on the divine Shari\u27ah precepts. The prosperity of the populace and the advancement of society are indeed among Islam\u27s core values and principles. However, because people prioritize their own interests over those of society in a capitalist society, the Industrial Revolution caused enormous harm to Earth. Islamic social responsibility promotes the value of unity and refers to a moderate ummah (community) that is forbidden from causing any harm to the planet. Everything on earth is a gift from Allah to humanity, and as man is the representative of Allah and has taken on the role of steward (Khalifah) for the planet, it is his duty to protect it from harm. The main goal of this paper is to provide Islamic concepts and applications in discussions of sustainable development, particularly those that focus on poverty issue

The Holy Quran is the last book of Allah revealed to Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH. It has been translated into many languages of the world. I have chosen English translation of one of its chapters i.e. Surah Al-Tariq to examine Eugene Nida\u27s theory of translation. Considering Formal and Dynamic Equivalence as theoretical framework, I will evaluate the translation of Surah Al-Tariq, translated by an Ahmadi scholar, Muhammad Ali, in order to examine to what extent Eugene Nida\u27s theory of translation is applicable to English translation of Surah Al-Tariq. The Holy Qura\u27n is comprised of 114 Surahs which are in certain order. Current research will facilitate us apply the same theoretical framework to other Surahs of the Holy Quran in order to enhance our understanding about it
