OPTIMIZED SNR FOR INTER SYMBOL INTERFERENCE REDUCTION OVER MODIFIED DFZF EQUALIZER FOR PACKET ERASURE NETWORK

    No full text
A novel technique presented in this paper is used to find an optimal signal to noise ratio (SNR) for maximizing overall data throughput and system performance for Automatic speech Recognition (ASR) applications. In speech data transmission over communication channels inter symbol Interference (ISI) will occur. In this paper the major problem faced while implementation is loss of data due to inter symbol Interference. By changing multiplying factor at feedback filter coefficients & Optimizing the signal to noise ratio, receiver errors can be minimized. DFZFE is used to combat ISI in wireless channels. In literature, purpose of designing the feed forward equalizer in the channel is treated linear. .A drawback of this method is error propagation due to the feedback.[15]. Feedback angle is found to maximize the output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) [17]. Algorithm that achieves the same equalization performances at a reduced complexity are used [18]. Inter symbol Interference problem is faced in many applications such as cognitive radio, robotics, and sensor networks [19

Review on Natural And Synthetic Surfactant for Pool Boiling

    No full text
Boiling is an efficient mode of heat transfer and having numerous applications in distillation, desalination, chemical process, refrigeration system. Due to energy problem, boiling heat transfer may be enhanced by active and passive techniques. Passive methods of heat transfer enhancement need no external power for heat transfer enhancement. One of the passive techniques is use of additives in order to enhance the heat transfer. The use of surfactant is simple and cost effective

METHODS OF QUICK AND QUALITY DRYING OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTS

    No full text
In our country, great attention is paid to the drying of fruits and vegetables, and as a result, small-sized mini-drying shops are developing rapidly and intensive drying processes are being improved without wasting fruit quickly. Scientists of the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology are conducting research on the rapid and high-quality drying of fruits and vegetables. This article provides analytical data for the selection of specific production conditions for fruit and vegetable drying methods. &nbsp

Design And Development of Compound Die

    No full text
The work deals with the development of a combined tool for an improvement of a process to be done in three wheeler vehicle product manufacturing plant. Research work deals with the combining two pressing operations done separately. This operation done for vehicle cable transmission part to be manufacturing. In the first pressing blanking operation is done & in second operation a hole is pierced in the same product. The project mainly focuses on different operations done on single setup of die punch in a single stroke, presently these operations are done on three separate setups which leading to reduce the production rate and increasing cycle time with cost as well. Compound die is a press tool of collective operations performed on the sheet metal. The various operations are carried out in a single stroke. The design of compound die is largely depends on material of sheet metal, thickness of sheet metal and complexity of design and operations

    Energy Servicing Companies (ESCO’s)

    No full text
The ESCO concept was originated in France before world war-2 when engineer’s evolved this mechanism as a means to provide expert services to reduce heating bills of property owners and occupiers that could be paid from savings.  India’s energy intensity is very high, which is 4.5 times that of Japan, 2.5 times of USA and 1.3 times that of Singapore. For reducing its energy intensity substantially, India needs to implement the proposed “National Response Plan” very aggressively. As it has been proven in many developed countries, the Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) are well equipped for achieving energy efficiency (EE) in all potential sectors. ESCOs can help Indian industry too become cost competitive in the global marketplace. Energy services companies (ESCOs) can help Indian industry to reduce its energy costs significantly and become cost competitive in the global marketplace, while at the same time reducing the risk of projects “going wrong”

IMPROVING READING SKILLS THROUGH CALL FOR ESL LEARNERS: A SURVEY

    No full text
Pakistan is a developing country. Its literacy rate is not praiseworthy and is at the low level in the ranking list of literate countries. The situation is even worse in rural areas. English is being used all over the world as an international language. It has become a Lingua Franca and a language of greater opportunities. It also enjoys a supreme status in society. Its sound knowledge is a successful passport for any job. For learning any language, both the oral and written skills are of equal importance. In fact, learning a second language is never easy. Learners have to wrestle with new vocabulary, rules of grammar, pronunciation and more. Computer assisted language learning is gaining popularity among educationists. So the current study determines to explore the perceptions of English teachers on integration of CALL in English language classroom. It also evaluated the ways to improve reading skills through CALL at secondary level. The study contained quantitative paradigm as research design. One hundred students and thirty teachers from Bahawalpur region participated in this study. The data was assembled through a close-ended questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed in SPSS. The results demonstrated that the Pakistani students have shown positive attitude towards CALL using inside the classrooms. The study also spotlighted that it motivated the learners to learn in team. If CALL is implemented efficiently in rural areas of Pakistan, it will be a high ranking tool for language learning. The recommendations and findings of this study should be taken into careful consideration and steps should be taken to implement those in our classrooms. If implemented intentionally, it is expected that the state of the teaching and learning of vocabulary skills at secondary level will be improved remarkably
