EVELOPMENT OF TOOL SEARCHING SYSTEM FOR TOOL CRIB
Most of the medium and large scale manufacturing industries have the larger tool room that is used to provide required tool. The tool finding in these rooms is a tedious task and time consuming also. The problem of keeping track of these valuable tools, of knowing where to locate every tool that has been issued, and getting them back promptly after they have been used, is an important task. Various methods are used for this purpose such as, crib ware method, manual method, tool shark method and mobile method. Each of these methods have their own advantages and limitations, This paper discusses development of new tool searching system by executing limitations of existing methods
ANALYSIS OF DELAY AND COST OVERRUN IN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
The Construction division is one of the important economic and it is the important motivating force in Indian economy. it travels from a number of problems that affect time, cost and quality performances. Best management of construction projects is depends on three major factors which are time, cost and quality. Time delay and Cost overruns has been a big matter in many Indian construction projects. The successful completion of construction projects within the given time has become the most valuable and challenging task. The good execution of construction site and keeping them in estimated cost and prescribed schedules depend on a method that requires sound engineering judgment. Delays are incidents that impact a project’s speed and postpone project activities. The actual date of completion is invariably different from the expected date. Construction delay is a major problem facing by the construction industry. In most construction projects, there are delays and their impact level varies from project to project ranging from a few days to years. Therefore the purpose of dissertation is to find the causes of delay and cost overrun. To find out the most significant factors affecting Time and project Cost overruns and suggest guideline for minimum of effects of delays for construction projects
CONCENTRATED PHOSPHORUS-CONTAINING FERTILIZERS BASED ON LOCAL RAW MATERIALS
The article presents the results of research on the development of new types of phosphorus-containing fertilizers based on local raw materials. The resource-saving technology of obtaining concentrated superphosphate from high-carbonate raw materials of the Central Kyzyl Kum is shown. The main advantages of this technology are: the absence of units for diluting concentrated sulfuric acid, storage maturation of acidic superphosphate, ammonization, drying and granulation. The analysis of the obtained phosphorus fertilizers, obtained by the developed technology, showed that they are low hygroscopic, have a high moisture capacity, and their physical properties begin to deteriorate sharply only at a moisture content of about 20 %

Exhaust noise created by the engines is important noise pollution to the environment. Exhaust systems are required to attenuate noise meeting required dB levels and sound quality, emissions based on environment norms. Hence this is become an important area for research and development. Mufflers are important part of engine system and used in exhaust system to minimize sound transmissions caused by exhaust gases. Design of muffler is a complex function that affects noise characteristics, emission and fuel efficiency of engine. Thus muffler design becomes more and more important for noise reduction. This research deals with a practical approach to design, develop reactive muffler for exhaust system, which will give advantages over the conventional method with shorten product development cycle time and validation
INVESTIGATION OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF CONTEMPORARY AND TRADITIONAL ASSESSMENT APPROACHES IN ONE OF THE PROMINENT SCHOOLS IN FIJI
The contemporary assessment approach is the best method of measuring students' performance. It is also used to explore how effective the teachers have delivered the curriculum in their subject areas. This study investigates the characteristics of the contemporary assessment approach and traditional assessment approach. It will decide which approach is best for the students of the 21st-century learning and teaching process. This was done by analysing four characteristics of the traditional and contemporary approach assessment (Linda, 2018). The data was collected from one of the prominent primary and secondary schools in Labasa employing reflective writing. The reflective writing contained five open-ended questions, which was then analysed qualitatively. The results indicated that all the teachers opted for a contemporary approach to assessment. The contemporary approach of assessment is constructed from comprehensive research, unlike the traditional approach, which is of poor quality
A FRAMEWORK AND ALGORITHMS FOR ENERGY EFFICIENT CONTAINER CONSOLIDATION IN CLOUD DATA CENTERS
Now a day’s utilization of power in cloud data centers is very large. Minimization of power consumption in data centers is major challenge. Cloud computing uses a network of remote servers which are hosted on the Internet to process, manage, and store data rather than a local server. Containers in cloud is nothing but an image which is a lightweight, software package which executes independently which hold everything you need to run: code, system libraries, system tools, settings. Using container consolidation, containers are migrated to number of hosts. In Container overbooking, allocate some percentage of workload to any resources. In this scenario hosts having CPU utilization and power consumption less than 70% or more than 80% are considered as underloaded or overloaded. In this paper, focus is on the performance of two algorithms named container overbooking and initial placement of containers and compare the results with scheduling algorithms named FirstFit, MostFull, Random and LeastFull. We will combine the both algorithm and create the algorithm which improves the results with reduced the power consumption in data center and resource utilization
