EFFECT OF H/D RATIO ON HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS OF CONFINED AIR JET IMPINGEMENT
Impinging jet can be defined as a high-velocity coolant mass ejected from a hole or slot that impinges on the heat transfer surface. A characteristic feature of this flow arrangement is an intensive heat transfer rate between the application and the fluid. Jet impingement is an attractive cooling mechanism in which we are going to achieve maximum possible heat transfer rates. A confinement is provided to have recirculation of fluid resulting in more heat transfer. In following paper heat transfer characteristics of confined air jet impingement have been studied. It uses 89c52 microcontrollerto construct node. Each node contain four sensors such as moisture sensor, acceleration sensors, rain gauge, flex sensor and zigbee are used to connect multiple nodes. Zigbee is used to transmit all reading to receiver sidethrough monitoring host. VB display receiveddata or by SMS we canalert the people and saves lives and property. DESIGNING OF TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY MONITORING EMBEDDED SYSTEMS
The places such as weather forecasting system, nuclear radiation measurement, greenhouses, agro-automation systems require real-time monitoring of environmental parameters like temperature and humidity. So a low-cost, low-power temperature and humidity sensor interfacing with embedded systems using PIC microcontroller and PLC is designed. The paper is analyzing the operating mechanism of DHT11 temperature and humidity combined sensor; where it features temperature and humidity sensor complex with calibrated digital signal output. The DHT11 sensor interfacing with controller is programmed, then the temperature and humidity acquisition program porting to embedded platform. Meanwhile, the data through human machine interface is intuitive feedback to the user

LEAN TECHNIQUES USED IN DIFFERENT MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES REVIEW PAPER: REVIEW PAPER
Lean manufacturing is a proper method for waste reduction within a manufacturing system without giving up productivity. Lean also considers waste created through overburden and waste created through varying in workloads. Working from the point of view of the client who consumes a product or service, "value" is any action or process that a customer would be willing to pay for. Lean manufacturing makes clear what adds value, by reducing everything else. This management philosophy is derived mostly from the Toyota Production Systemand identified as "lean" only in the 1990s.[1],for numerous, lean is the set of "tools" that helps in the recognition and steady elimination of waste. As waste is reduced quality improves while production time and cost are reduced. An incomplete list of such tools would include Kaizen, Just in time, Five S, Kanban, poka-yoke, totalproductive maintenance, SMED, value stream mapping. In this paper, an effort has been made to build up a lean tools survey for the associations to execute the lean manufacturing system. Examinations of the investigative literature survey are summarized in this paper to illustrate the execution sequence of lean tools and techniques. PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT AND COMPLEXITY REDUCTION IN MULTI-USER DETECTION USING PARTIAL PRE-CODING TECHNIQUES
In this paper, partial pre-coding method has been developed to solve the Multiple Access Interference (MAI) and computational complexity problems. This is done by selectively pre-decorrelating users to destructive interference while allowing interference when it is expected to contribute to their signal. The resulting SNR improvement is achieved by making use of energy existent in the system so performance enhancement is attained without the need for increased transmitted power-per-user. The proposed technique applies to the downlink of cellular Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems. Theoretical analysis and comparative simulations show that signi?cant performance improvement and computational complexity can be attained with the proposed technique
DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF CASTING DISTORTION & COMPENSATION TECHNOLOGY BASED ON AUTOMATIC ITERATION METHOD
Casting warp or distortion is one of the main defects often encountered in the production of die-casting, it is also quite difficult to solve. The traditional methods have the problems of low efficiency, heavy workload and poor working environment. This paper introduced Cast-Designers newly developed distortion compensation solver DCS Distortion Compensation Solver, it can predict the casting distortion and warp in advance and find the casting products meet the tolerance requirements in the automatic iterative optimization technology. With such tools and technology, we can reduce the casting distortion effectively and meet the machining requirements directly
EFFECT OF CUTTING TOOL ON SURFACE ROUGHNESS OF WORKPIECE MATERIAL
The cutting operation is nothing but removal of unnecessary material on workpiece by machining which includes operations like turning, facing, Grooving etc. Turning is one of material removal operation in which material from cylindrical workpiece is removed keeping Tool stationary & workpiece rotating. The cutting operation is affected by its cutting speed, feed & depth of cut. Also other factors like shape n geometry of Tool & coolant used have some effect over turning operation, which is done on either Conventional Lathe or CNC machine. The values of cutting speed, feed & depth of cut are responsible for the surface roughness of workpiece material after turning operation. Also they are responsible for rate of production & tool life. Because of this, these parameters needs to be optimized to achieve the best combination for achieving higher rate of production with the required surface finish of workpiece material which is the main objective
