    TWO AXES PNEUMATIC JCB

    No full text
The present this is provides the comparative study with regard to Design and Working of Pneumatic Two Axes JCB arm. In this we have studied on the hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and by replacing the hydraulic cylinder by pneumatic cylinder we have increased the working speed of the excavator and by using the gears we have given the 360 degree rotation to the arm. And the arm can be move in two direction. Due to the replacement of the hydraulic cylinder by pneumatic we can reduce the cost of the excavator. The various heavy parts are reduced so the weight of the vehicle is reduced. The project includes the design of the arm, cylinder, Gear and Base of the vehicle. This is done by using AUTO-CAD 2018. This is made by using two factor one is System Design and another one is Mechanical Design. The system design mainly concerns the various physical constraints and ergonomics, space requirements, arrangement of various components on main frame at system, man+machine interactions, No. of controls, position of controls, working environment of machine, chances of failure, safety measures to be provided, servicing aids, ease of improvement, weight of machine from ground level, total weight of machine and a lotmore. The Mechanical design phase is very important from the view of designer as wholesuccess of the project depends on the correct design analysis of the problem

CROSS LAYER DESIGN FOR WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORKS (802.11)

    No full text
Wireless local area Networks (WLAN) have grown to become a really engaging answer to supply network connectivity, providing user quality, flexibility and simple deployment at a comparatively low cost. The recognition and, therefore, the traffic load of WLANs grows furthermore because the necessity to support real-time delay-sensitive applications like voice, video streaming or online gaming. Therefore, the requirement for higher efficiency and Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees becomes necessary

BACK-PROPAGATION NEURAL NETWORK AND SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINE COMPARISON FOR CLASSIFICATION OF STATIC HAND GESTURES

    No full text
Hand gesture recognition is an essential task as its application ranges from human-machine interface to sign language recognition. The classification accuracy of static gestures depends on the technique used to extract the features as well as the classifier used in the system. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) are the powerful mechanismsused for pattern recognition. This paper briefs the basic theory of ANN and SVM, and also provides the comparison of the Back propagation Neural Network and Support Vector Machine used as classifier for the static hand gestures

COUPLED FIELD ANALYSIS OF PIEZOELECTRIC CANTILEVER BEAM

    No full text
Electromechanical modelling efforts in the research field of vibration-based energy harvesting have been mostly focused on forms of vibrational input as in the typical case of harmonic excitation at resonance. However, ambient vibrational energy often has broader frequency content than a single harmonic. Piezoelectric energy harvesting is a promising technology for extracting the power from environmental vibrations. It generates the electrical power of few orders of amplitudes which is sufficient to drive several autonomous electrical devices. Such vibration-based energy harvester generates the most energy when the generator is excited at its resonance frequency. Simplest model to be started is of rectangular Aluminium cantilever beam with unimorph piezoelectric patch which is perfectly bonded to the substrate plate at the end

LATEST TRENDS IN CONTINGENCY ANALYSIS OF POWER SYSTEM

    No full text
Contingency plans based on N - 1 and N - 2 contingencies are already very much used by utilities . Artificial intelligent methods are new trends for analysing the contingency scenario along with state of art congestion management. This gives extra backup and b oost to reliable operation under contingent scenario of power system. This paper envisages the summary of all those efforts

    REVIEW OF LOUDSPEAKER EQUALIZATION

    No full text
Different methods to design digital filters aimed for equalization of loudspeaker/room responses are considered. Design of inverse filters is based on measured loudspeaker/room impulse responses combined with room- and psychoacoustic knowledge. Frequency dependent smoothing and nonlinear equalization effort is applied, and a new iterativemethod has been proposed

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF PROPOSED IMAGE RETRIEVAL SYSTEM FOR IMAGE-RICH INFORMATION NETWORKS BASED ON INTEGRATED ALGORITHM (S-CBIR)

    No full text
Due to existence of different related information to images (tags, annotations, comments etc.) retrieval of images from image rich information networks is very challenging and complex task. Integrated algorithm(S-CBIR)issuedto retrieveimagesfrom image rich information networks. The experiment is conducted to check the accuracy of proposed integrated algorithm (S-CBIR). Performance evaluation of proposed image retrieval system for image-rich information networks based on integrated algorithm (S-CBIR) is done inthispaper

INNOVATIVE METHOD FOR IOT BASED PRODUCTION DETECTION SYSTEM USING ARDUINO

    No full text
In recent systems whenever we scan the product, its basic information is stored in its local database. But by using IOT whenever we scan the product by using the RFID card the information of the product is stored on the server database with the help of IOT and by using this there is no needto scan the same product everytime for inserting the quantity of the product if the product is in bulk, we have to just enter the quantity by using keypad. We are using Arduino uno as our main controller. Arduino uno is a microcontroller based on ATMega328. It has 14 digital IO, 6 analog input with 6 PWM outputs and a 16 MHz crystal oscillator. Connect it to a computer with USB cable. UNO is the latest in series of USB Arduino boards and refrence model for Arduino platform

AN ANALYSIS OF COLD STORE BY CFD SIMULATION

    No full text
This paper deals with the numerical analysis of 3d model ofacold storeof dimensions 4.5 m (L) x 3.3 m (W) x 2.5 m (H),which isdeveloped to study the effects of design parameters on flow and temperature fields within the cold store. The variation in number of inlets, position of inletsand stacking methodology affectflow and temperature fields within the cold store. Results of CFD simulation indicated the optimum position of the inlets, number of inletsand stacking methodologyrequiredto have uniform flow and temperature field within the cold store. It also proved that CFD is a convenienttool for designing and optimizing the flow field in the cold store

MODIFIED AIR FILTER USING GUN METAL AND ALUMINIUM MESH IN DIESEL ENGINE –A REVIEW

    No full text
Diesel engines usecompressionignition,a process by whichfuelis injected after the air is compressed in the combustion chamber causing the fuel toself-ignite. By contrast, agasoline engineutilizes theOtto cycle, in which fuel and air are mixed before ignition is initiated by aspark plug. Most diesel engines have large pistons, therefore drawing more air and fuel which results in a bigger and more powerful combustion. This is effective in large vehicles such as trucks, diesel locomotives. The combustion in diesel engine takes place with the help of fuel & air. So the intake air needs to free from all sort of impurities. This work is effectively done by air filter in it. The basic and the most important function of the project are to improve the quality of air using the concept of Ionization. Thus using the Electronic Air Cleaner to ionize (electrically charge) air moleculesi.e to attract oppositely charged (positive charge) airborne impurities towards it. As a result the dust particles get stick to it and the air free from impurities passes further and thus reduces the early clogging of filter. Finally the diesel knocking and vibrations will decrease to minimum level. Some of the parameters which is tested is that decrease in fuel consumption keeping the same amount of brake power, increment in mechanical efficiency by 4%
