Static stress analysis of Mahindra Alfa front mud-g uard and its comparison with FRP mud-guard
The Mud-guard of the vehicle is used to keep off mu
d, pebbles, and other road debris from splashing on
and
scratching the coat of the vehicle and it is weakly
designed. The present work focuses on experimental
and
finite element stress analysis of the Three-Wheeler
(Mahindra Alfa) front mud-guard under repair and
maintenance loading conditions. The objective of pr
esent work is to carry out finite element stress an
alysis of
front mud-guard of three-wheeler and experimental v
alidation of the stress and comparison with the
manufactured Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) fender,
The analysis will provide knowledge of stress
distribution across the whole mud-guard due to load
JURGEN HABERMAS CRITICAL REVIEW ON SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ACCOUNTING PRACTICES AT BAKARU HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT
This study aims to critically examine the social and environmental accounting practices carried out by the Bakaru hydropower plant based on the perspective of Jurgen Habermas, this research was carried out at the Bakaru hydropower plant by taking informants from employees and the local community around the company. appointed in the study, collecting data through observation and documentation in various situations in the field, the data were analyzed with a qualitative approach using Jurgen Habermas' critical communication action theory to review the reality of social and environmental accounting practices. The results of the study show that the application of corporate social and environmental accountingnot yet fully felt by the surrounding community as beneficiaries, this is due to the lack of corporate responsibility (CSR) programs issued by the Bakaru PLTA, the programs that are mostly implemented are still aid and have not been oriented towards sustainability in providingreporting on prevention and maintenance of environmental activities
ANALYSIS OF DAMPING COEFFICIENT FOR VISCOUS DAMPER
Project aim is contribute in torsional vibration theory and their practical experiences used in dampers which are widely used in automobile application & civil applications. Project is sponsored by “Hodek vibration Technologies pvt ltd”, pune. This is largest dampers manufacturer of torsional vibration dampers for diesel engines. This report paper highlights a number of important considerations for the torsional viscous damper system as well as design philosophies to assess and mitigate the risk of torsional failures. Damping properties are of significant importance in determining the dynamic response of structures, and accurate prediction of them at the design stage, especially in the case of light-weight, wind-sensitive buildings, is very desirable. Unfortunately, damping parameters cannot be deduced deterministically from other structural properties and recourse is generally made to data from experiments conducted on completed structures of similar characteristics. Such data is scarce but valuable, both for direct use in design and for furthering research into the phenomenon of damping
Experimental Study of Heat Transfer Parameters usin g internal threaded pipe fitted with inserts of different materials
Many heat transfer enhanced techniques have simultaneously been devel
oped for the improvement of energy
consumption, material saving, size reduction and pumping power reduction. Sc
rew tape inserts in tubes are a
typical technique that offers a higher heat transfer increase
and, at the same time, only a mild pressure drop
penalty
STUDY ON LOADING AND UNLOADING TELESCOPIC CONVEYOR
In the era of increased energy consumption, shortage of manpower and economical manufacturing due to competition, Industries are seeking for better machines and material handling system consumes substantial energy during the transport. Our present work deal with utilization of telescopic material unloader for reduces the Manpower cost, time saving and safe loading and unloading the materials in industries. Our current attempt is towards developing an economical telescopic conveyor by adopting the exiting simple design.Telescopic conveyor is working on sliding mechanism, which include one fixed link and two or more sliding links. Sliding link provide telescopic action. Because of the increasing length due to telescopic action, telescopic conveyor can go inside a truck or container & give access to loading & unloading operation. Telescopic conveyor is used for loading & unloading of boxes, bundles & bags from trucks or containers to warehouse & vice versa. It will move in to & fro direction with the help of geared motor. Telescopic conveyor is easy to shift from one platform to another platform with the help of trolley wheels within plant. It is reliable to use, compact in size, adjustable. Italso saves working man-hours& labor efforts which increases profitability of industries engaged in material handling

SOUND FIRE EXTINGUISHER
Everyone knows fire it is very useful as well as hazardous for human life. when we go close to it we feel warm in cold weather, fire is mostly used in industries also in automobiles to run the vehicle, in houses for cooking food or in bigger food industries chemical industries, nuclear power plants, hydrolic power plants, but if situation goes out of control then what we do, we use fire extinguisher to extinguish flames what it consist, it consist of powder material or chemical of carbon dioxide which avoids the contact of oxygen to the flames. Fire(flames) requires oxygen to burn continuously, without oxygen flames can’t burn ,so that we are going do in our project. My group is going to make a device which will work as a fire extinguisher but with the help of “sound”. Sure sound ridiculous but it is true. A sound which extinguish flames. We are going to extinguish flames using sound frequency. It is all about bass as we in human life music is most appreciating thing for different emotions for express enjoyment for relaxing and for music speakers are mostly used. And we know speakers are mostly use in dj concerts in function ns or in events. Means these are basically use to listen music And that we are going to do, for proper working of model we need specific sound frequency with a bass sound which will have pulse. When we put these sound frequency of flames then the sound stops the supply of oxygen due to which flames will be extinguish. flames will be start to extinguish
GRID INTERCONNECTION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES AT DISTRIBUTION LEVEL WITH POWER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT FEATURES
Fossil fuel resources are our main source of energyand they are depleting. Fossil fuels are non renewable and environmentally damaging. As huge increase in global warming and air pollution, fossil fuels are diminishing and their continuous increase inmoney value have made it necessary to take step towards renewable sources in coming future. There are numerous renewable energy sources (RES) such as solar, wind, tidal and biomass etc. Wind energy has great potential to supply energy with minimum impact on the environment, since it is clean and pollution free. Many researchers are finding solutions to overcome a global energy crisis, the recent developments in systems of wind energy have attracted many researchers in recent years. The government is providing subsidiaries to further increase the use of grid-connected wind and solar systems
Fuzzy Logic Modeling of Heat Transfer in a double Pipe Heat Exchanger with Wavy (Corrugated) Twisted Tape Inserts
Fuzzy logic is a method which can be used to model

.
The tape
consists of the corrugations and the twisting with various twist ratios (TR=10.7, 8.5, 7.1)
.
The length, width and
thickness of twisted tape were 1 m, 14 mm and 2 mm respectively.
The
Reynolds number is varied from

ESTIMATING DAMAGED PIXEL USING NEIGHBORHOOD INFORMATION FOR DIGITAL IMAGE INPAINTING
Estimatingthe value of deadpixels in a damaged image isoften desired in image processing. This technique is calledas Image In painting. Inthis paper, two Image In paintingtechniquesbased on neighborhood information are compared. In technique one a kernel function of dynamic weights is calculated based on the direction between known pixel and unknown pixel and the Euclidian distance between them. Whilein technique two the a kernel function is calculated based on gradient of pixels in a neighborhood. The image is unpaintedin both the techniquesby convolving the damaged region with the kernel function. Thetwo techniques are testedonimages and theexperimentalresults confirmthe effectiveness of the algorithm
