    Sekolah berperan penting dalam pendidikan dan kualitas masyarakat. Tanpa sekolah, pendidikan di Indonesia terganggu, yang dapat menyebabkan pengangguran. Sekolah mendidik anak-anak dan menyediakan sarana yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan fisik sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 15 Padang, menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 15 Padang tahun ajaran 2025/2026, dengan sampel 313 siswa yang diambil secara proportional sampling. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 22, meliputi uji normalitas, linearitas, korelasi, regresi linier sederhana, uji hipotesis, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan fisik sekolah dan minat belajar siswa, dengan koefisien korelasi 0.533 (hubungan sedang) dan koefisien determinasi 28.4%, berarti lingkungan fisik sekolah berkontribusi 28.4% terhadap variasi minat belajar siswa, sedangkan 71.6% dipengaruhi faktor lain

    This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of grade XI F4 students in Sociology at Adabiah 2 High School, Padang. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes using the Teaching at the Right Level (TARL) learning approach. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) formulated by Ari Kunto, which consists of four components: (1) Planning, (2) Action, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection, using a mixed methods approach. The research data consisted of information about the results of the actions obtained from observations of teacher activities and student learning outcome tests. This research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the first cycle of research showed that the average student learning outcome score remained around 70.6, with only 39.5% completing tasks and 59.9% not completing tasks. In the second cycle, student learning outcomes increased to an average of 84.8, with 83.5% completing tasks and a decrease of 16.6% not completing tasks. This indicates an improvement in learning outcomes, as seen in the second cycle, with an increase in average student scores. This demonstrates that learning outcomes improve with the use of the TaRL approach in sociology.               &nbsp

    Efektivitas Case Base Learning dan Peran Curiosity Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis

    Mathematical problem-solving ability is one of the essential competencies students need to master; however, in reality, many students still face difficulties in developing this skill. One effort to improve it is through the implementation of Case Base Learning while also considering affective factors such as curiosity. This study aims to examine the effect of Case Base Learning and curiosity on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population consisted of all ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Abung Semuli, with a total sample of 65 students selected using cluster random sampling. The sample consisted of two classes: class IX H as the experimental class, which applied Case Base Learning, and class IX F as the control class, which applied Direct Instruction. The instruments used were a mathematical problem-solving test and a curiosity questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using two-way ANOVA with prerequisite tests, namely normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the study revealed that: (1) Case Base Learning was more effective than Direct Instruction in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving ability, (2) curiosity had a significant role in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving ability, and (3) there was no interaction between Case Base Learning and curiosity in influencing students’ mathematical problem-solving ability

    This study aims to analyze the structure, elements, errors, and corrections in writing news texts by students of grade VII-2 of Methodist Private Middle School Berastagi in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.The focus of the research includes the application of text structure (title, lead, content, and conclusion), the completeness of the 5W+1H elements (what, who, when, where, why, how), and the use of language in accordance with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). This research provides theoretical benefits in the development of writing skills studies at the junior high school level, as well as practical benefits for teachers as learning evaluation materials and for students as a means of reflection to improve their writing skills. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data in the form of written works of 30 students analyzed using structural, elemental, and linguistic analysis sheets. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation, while validity is maintained through diligent observation, peer review, and audit trails. The results of the study indicate that although students have understood the basic structure of news texts, there are still many inaccuracies in arranging the parts of the text logically, as well as incomplete news elements, especially the why and how elements. Linguistic errors such as the use of capital letters, punctuation, and word choice are also still common. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that students' ability to write news texts still needs to be improved, especially in the aspects of completeness of content and accuracy of language. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of more contextual, targeted, and structured practice-oriented writing instruction. The limitations of this study lie in its scope, which only analyzed written output without directly observing the learning process. Therefore, further research is recommended to explore more comprehensive learning strategies to improve students' writing skills. &nbsp

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis proses pembelajaran, kelebihan dan kekurangan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Learning Tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournament) Berbantuan Estafet Quiz Pada Kelas V SD Negeri Cengklik Surakarta Tahun Ajar 2024/2025. Metode dalam penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru kelas & 3 peserta didik kelas VC SD Negeri Cengklik Surakarta, dan objek diteliti adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif learning tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournament) berbantuan estafet quiz di kelas VC. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari 10-13 Juni 2025 di SD Negeri Cengklik Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini ialah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk memeriksa keabsahan data kualitatif dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik. Data pada teknik penelitian dianalisiss dengan urutan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari proses implentasi model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan estafet quiz di kelas VC SD Negeri Cengklik Surakarta sudah sesuai sintak terdiri penyajian kelas, belajar dalam kelompok, permaianan, turnamen, & penghargaan. Kelebihan pelaksanaan model pembelajaran TGT di kelas VC SD Negeri Cengklik Surakarta yaitu adanya menumbuhkan prilaku menghargai orang lain, semangat belajar, membangun & menambah pengetahuan. & menumbuhkan sikap kerjasama & toleransi. dan kekurangan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan estafet quiz yaitu ruang kelas ramai, tidak bisa untuk kelompok besar, & membutuhkan sarana & prasarana yang mendukung. Berdasarkan penelitian diatas dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif learning tipe TGT berbantuan estafet quiz di SD Negeri Cengklik Surakarta dilaksanakan sesuai sintak, dengan memiliki kelebihan & kekurangan

    This study aims to examine the impact of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ learning motivation in the context of physical fitness education. Employing a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the study involved 23 fifth-grade elementary students, selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria. A learning motivation questionnaire was utilized as the main instrument, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the paired sample t-test. Results showed an increase in the average motivation score from 23.35 (pretest) to 25.65 (posttest). The data met the assumption of normality, with a significance value above 0.05. The paired sample t-test revealed a significance level of 0.000, indicating a statistically significant difference before and after the implementation of the PjBL model. In conclusion, Project-Based Learning has a significant positive effect on improving students’ motivation, offering a more engaging, contextual, and meaningful learning experience

    The main objective of this study is to develop a canva-based snake and ladder numeracy learning media (ultrasi) to improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students, especially in mathematics. This study applies the research and development method (R&D) through the ADDIE development model. The target is class V of UPT SD Negeri Doromukti. Initial data was obtained through pre-test results which showed that only 38.88% or 7 students scored above the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKTP), while 61.11% of other students were still below the KKTP. The canva-based snake and ladder numeracy media (ultrasi) developed by the researcher was validated by 3 validators, with validation results, namely: media experts 92%, material experts 94%, and language experts 98%. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test of the canva-based snake and ladder numeracy media (ultrasi) was measured using the N-Gain formula and experienced an increase of 60% which is included in the fairly effective category. In addition, the results of the practicality test through a questionnaire showed that the canva-based snake and ladder numeracy (ultrasi) media is very feasible to be implemented in the learning process, with the results of the teacher response percentage value of 95.5% and the student response of 96.6%. Based on the results of the percentage, the canva-based snake and ladder numeracy (ultrasi) media can be declared feasible, effective, and practical to be used as an alternative learning media in improving the learning outcomes of Elementary School (SD) students. &nbsp

    Critical thinking skills and science process skills are an important part of 21st century competencies that must be possessed by students. One of the efforts that can be done to improve these abilities is by utilizing learning media designed in accordance with the right learning model. This study aimed at developing E-LKPD integrated with the Problem Based Learning model, to improve students' critical thinking skills and science process skills. The research was development research using the Plomp model, through the stages of initial investigation, design in the form of E-LKPD based on the Live Worksheet Platform, so that it was interactive and can be accessed online. The research on this E-LKPD was carried out through validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. The results showed that the E-LKPD integrated with Problem Based Learning has a high level of validity both material validity and media validity. The effectiveness test is proven to improve critical thinking skills and science process skills. Thus, The E-LKPD is suitable to be used as learning media in teaching science in junior high school

    PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DAN KEAKTIFAN SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of project-based learning (PjBL) on student learning outcomes and engagement in natural and social sciences (IPAS) at the elementary school level. This study was driven by low academic achievement and low student participation in IPAS classes, which generally use traditional teaching methods. This study used a quantitative approach with a non-equivalent control group design, with fifth-grade students from SDN Heuleut 1 participating in both experimental and control groups. Expert evaluation confirmed the feasibility of the PjBL learning tool (90.90%), and student feedback indicated high applicability (88.43%). The t-test showed a significant improvement in the experimental group (t-value 15.75 > t-value 2.045), with an average pre-test score of 55.08 increasing to 82.27 in the post-test. Furthermore, student participation in the experimental class also increased significantly. These findings indicate that PjBL is an effective approach to improve student achievement and engagement in IPAS learning at the elementary school level

    The aim of this study is to evaluate students' critical thinking skills using Baamboozle as a learning medium on the topic of biodiversity. The research employed a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design within a pre-experimental model, conducted in a single class. A total of 35 fifth-grade students participated in the study. Data were collected through critical thinking tests administered as pretests and posttests. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS. The results indicate a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores after the implementation of Baamboozle in the learning process. These findings demonstrate that Baamboozle effectively enhances students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, Baamboozle can be considered an innovative and engaging learning medium to support the development of critical thinking skills among elementary school students
