    INTEGRATION OF MORAL PHILOSOPHY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING: AN ANALYSIS OF COMMUNICATIVE ETHICS TO BUILD THE CHARACTER OF PANCASILA THROUGH GROUP DISCUSSIONS

    This study looks at how moral philosophy can be included in English learning through group discussions, which aim to help students develop good communication skills based on the values of Pancasila. The main focus is on how group discussions can help build civility, encourage fair participation in speech, and show respect for the dignity of others. These discussions do more than just teach language skills; They also help students understand and practice ethical communication during conversations. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, and involves observing how students interact during discussions. Data is analyzed by grouping information and understanding the meaning behind what is said, based on moral values. The results show that adding moral philosophy to learning helps students become more aware of ethical behavior, reduces the tendency to dominate conversations, increases their willingness to listen, and makes them use more polite language. As a result, discussion becomes a place for equal and thoughtful communication, not just arguments. A unique part of this research is to create a teaching model that combines Pancasila values, ethical communication, and group discussion methods to help students become ethical speakers, not just good at speaking. The study also highlights the need for a set of rules for discussion ethics, a curriculum that includes moral and language aspects, and teachers who guide students to be fair, empathetic, and thoughtful in their communication. These findings suggest a new way of teaching English that focuses on using language to build character and humanity, not just on academic skills

Penggunaan kecerdasan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pembelajaran matematika berkembang pesat, namun pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP masih jarang diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi hubungan antara penggunaan AI dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis temuan-temuan terkait penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran matematika dan pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mengumpulkan, menilai, dan menganalisis 30 artikel yang dipublikasikan pada periode 2021–2025. Proses pencarian dilakukan melalui berbagai basis data Google Scholar, dan SINTA menggunakan kata kunci “Artificial Intelligence in mathematics learning”, “AI-based learning”, dan “mathematical problem solving ability”.  Artikel yang terpilih dievaluasi berdasarkan kualitas metodologi dan relevansi temuan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil telaah terhadap 30 artikel yang relevan ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar studi menemukan hubungan positif antara penggunaan AI dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, terutama ketika AI diintegrasikan dengan Problem-Based Learning (PBL), scaffolding metakognitif, dan tutor cerdas adaptif. Namun, penerapan AI di tingkat SMP masih terbatas, dengan lebih banyak studi yang berfokus pada pendidikan dasar dan tinggi. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun AI menunjukkan potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis, terdapat beberapa gap penelitian yang perlu diatasi, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesiapan guru, dan pengaruh faktor sosial-ekonomi siswa

    The digital paradox phenomenon among Indonesia's Generation Z shows that despite having unlimited access to information, their vulnerability to digital extremism remains high. Low levels of critical literacy and a lack of meaning in their search for identity make Gen Z susceptible to provocative narratives that offer identity and purpose in life. This study confirms that internalizing the values ​​of Tawassuth (Islamic moderation) can serve as an ethical and cognitive foundation for enhancing digital resilience. The principles of Tawazun (balance), I'tidal (justice), Tasamuh (tolerance), and Tabayyun (clarification) are strongly relevant to critical digital literacy competencies in identifying misinformation and extremist propaganda. These values ​​serve as an ethical "operating system" that helps Gen Z respond to digital content in a healthy and responsible manner.     This study aims to review the utilization of simple linear regression in primary education research through a systematic literature review. The methodology involves searching and selecting scholarly articles from reputable academic databases, based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, followed by content analysis to identify applications of simple linear regression in primary education studies. The findings indicate that simple linear regression is highly effective for analyzing relationships between variables, such as the impact of environmental factors on students’ academic performance. Additionally, the review highlights various applications, including program evaluation and the analysis of success determinants in learning. The results suggest that simple linear regression is a relevant and accessible statistical tool for primary education research. This review is expected to serve as a valuable reference for researchers and educators in selecting appropriate statistical methods for their studies

      This research is motivated by the low creativity of students in Arts and Culture learning at SDN 06 Kodo, Bima City. Learning that is still centered on the teacher causes students to be given less opportunity to explore ideas and innovate in their work. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of the Discovery Learning learning model on increasing the creativity of fifth grade students in Arts and Culture subjects. The type of research used is a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects were 14 fifth grade students. Data collection was carried out through practical tests and creativity tests covering aspects of refinement, flexibility, uniqueness, and idea development. Data were analyzed using normality tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The results showed an increase in the average student score from 75.00 in the pretest to 90.00 in the posttest. The peered sample t-test produced a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model has a positive and significant impact on increasing student creativity in Arts and Culture learning in elementary &nbsp

    This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the brainstorming model in improving students’ critical thinking skills on the topic “Human Life in the Prehistoric Era” in grade X at SMA Plus Al Qomariyah. The background of this research is based on the low level of students’ critical thinking skills, which is caused by the dominance of conventional teaching methods that lack encouragement for analytical, evaluative, and reflective activities. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 35 students who were divided into heterogeneous groups to carry out brainstorming activities, namely proposing ideas freely, selecting, and evaluating ideas based on logic. Data were collected through a critical thinking test measuring the indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference, as well as student and teacher activity observation sheets. The results show a significant improvement from the pre-cycle, with an average score of 62.5 and a mastery level of 30%, to 73.5 and 65% in cycle I, and finally to 83.6 and 88% in cycle II, exceeding the minimum mastery criteria (KKM). These findings prove that the implementation of brainstorming can address students’ weaknesses in drawing conclusions and evaluating information logically. Thus, the brainstorming model is proven to be effective in improving critical thinking skills in learning, and it is recommended to be applied consistently with an emphasis on idea evaluation so that students’ critical thinking skills can develop optimall

    This is to deeply identify the fundamental factors that cause the lack of concentration, as well as formulate alternative learning methods that are more effective and interactive.The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques involve participatory observation, structured interviews with teachers and students, and documentation studies.The research results identify that the dominant factors causing low concentration include: lack of variation in teaching strategies, minimal use of attractive, interactive learning media, and high frequency of lecture method application.As a practical implication, this research recommends a transition from the lecture method to a more student-centered learning approach, such as group discussions or the integration of visual media, to optimize student engagement and concentration in the Akida learning process

    Prayer is the pillar of Islam that carries not only ritual dimensions but also spiritual, moral, and social values. In rural communities, strengthening the understanding and practice of congregational prayer faces several challenges, particularly in terms of limitedknowledge and consistency in implementation. This study aims to explore the strategies employed by Islamic teachers (ustadz) in teaching the practice of congregational prayer at the Darul Ilmi Study Assembly in Kubangan Tompek Village, Batahan Subdistrict, Mandailing Natal Regency. This research applied a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving both the ustadz and community members, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the ustadz utilized interactivelectures, reinforcement through Qur’anic verses and hadiths, and communicative language tailored to the daily lives of the participants. These strategies proved effective in improving the participants’ understanding of prayer procedures while also instillingspiritual and social values. The challenges identified include the ustadz’s inconsistent attendance and external factors such as weather conditions that hinder the continuity of the study sessions. In conclusion, the effectiveness of prayer education in the assembly is strongly influenced by the ustadz’s consistency and the application of strategies aligned with the rural community context

    Penelitian ini membahas konsep mahar dalam perspektif Mazhab Hanafi, Undang‑Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974, dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI) di Indonesia. Mahar dipahami sebagai hak mutlak istri yang wajib dipenuhi suami, berfungsi sebagai simbol penghormatan, tanggung jawab, dan legitimasi akad nikah. Mazhab Hanafi menekankan batas minimal dan bentuk harta, sedangkan regulasi nasional memberikan fleksibilitas dalam bentuk, jumlah, dan kesepakatan kedua pihak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, menganalisis literatur fiqh, UU Perkawinan, dan KHI secara deskriptif-komparatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan persamaan dalam penekanan hak istri dan kewajiban suami, tetapi terdapat perbedaan konseptual terkait nilai minimal, jenis, dan bentuk mahar. Perbedaan ini berimplikasi pada praktik hukum pernikahan, khususnya dalam penafsiran dan penyelesaian sengketa di pengadilan agama. KHI berperan sebagai instrumen harmonisasi, mengakomodasi prinsip fiqh klasik dan regulasi nasional sehingga mahar tetap menjadi hak istri dan ekspresi tanggung jawab suami tanpa membebani calon pasangan. Penelitian menekankan pentingnya keselarasan antara nilai fiqh dan hukum positif untuk menjamin keadilan, kemudahan, dan perlindungan hak dalam praktik pernikahan di Indonesia

    Student engagement is a crucial component of meaningful learning, particularly in basic mathematics subjects that require active participation and conceptual understanding. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using arithmetic operation cards in enhancing elementary students’ engagement in learning multiplication factors. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach over two cycles, conducted at SD Negeri Inpres Skouw Mabo, Papua, involving 21 students from grades IV and V. Data were collected through observation, field notes, and teacher journals, and analyzed both quantitatively (Wilcoxon test) and qualitatively (thematic analysis). The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ behavioral, emotional, and cognitive engagement, with average scores increasing from 56.05 (baseline) to 62.17 (cycle 1), and 69.05 (cycle 2) (p < 0.001). Qualitative data support these results by showing positive changes in students’ participation, enthusiasm, and thinking strategies. This study confirms that simple manipulative media such as arithmetic operation cards can serve as an effective alternative to enhance student engagement, particularly in areas with limited educational resources
