    This study analyzes the role of job satisfaction in mediating the influence of transformational leadership and school culture on teacher performance in public junior high schools (SMP Negeri) in Palembang City. Teacher performance faces challenges like limited teaching innovation and low professional development participation, influenced by inspirational leadership and collaborative culture. Data from 96 teachers used a validated 38-item questionnaire (r-calculated > r-table; Cronbach's Alpha > 0.90), analyzed via classical assumption tests and multiple regression. Results show transformational leadership (β=0.342, p=0.000) and school culture (β=0.259, p=0.000) significantly affect job satisfaction (R²=0.589), all influencing performance (R²=0.684, F=66.467, p=0.000), with job satisfaction mediating (Sobel Z=3.02; Z=3.05). Findings support Parsons' AGIL theory, recommending leadership training and inclusive culture enhancement. In conclusion, job satisfaction strengthens impacts on performance, urging educational management interventions

    Study explores lecturers’ experiences in adapting to digital pedagogy through the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools at Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews and classroom observations. The findings reveal that ICT integration has reshaped lecturers’ teaching practices, encouraging more interactive, flexible, and student-centered learning environments. However, challenges such as limited institutional support, technological infrastructure, and lecturers’ digital competence remain significant barriers. This study highlights the need for continuous professional development and strategic policies to strengthen digital pedagogy implementation in higher education

    Changes in the work environment require employees to not only complete formal tasks, but also demonstrate extra-role behaviors such as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Various studies have mentioned that personality plays a role in bringing about OCB, but some findings show inconsistent results. On the other hand, impostor syndrome is often associated with psychological dynamics in the workplace, which opens up the possibility of exploring whether these psychological aspects play a role in linking personality and OCB. This study aims to determine the influence of personality traits on OCB and to test whether impostor syndrome mediates this relationship. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design and involved 189 employees in the Greater Jakarta area. Measurements were conducted using the Big Five Personality Inventory (BFI), OCB-C 20 Items, and Impostor Profile-30 (IPP-30). Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression and mediation tests. The results show that personality traits have a significant effect on OCB (β = 0.6970; t = 4.5022; p = 0.0000). However, personality traits do not affect impostor syndrome (β = 0.1919; p = 0.7347). Furthermore, impostor syndrome was not found to mediate the relationship between personality traits and OCB, as indicated by an indirect effect value of 0.0049 with a bootstrap interval that included zero (BOOTLLCI = –0.0286; BOOTULCI = 0.0565). These findings indicate that the influence of personality on OCB occurs directly without involving the psychological mechanism of impostor syndrome

    This study aims to describe and analyze elementary school management in handling students from marginalized social environments at Kanoman Elementary School. The background of the study is based on the socioeconomic conditions of the community surrounding the school, which is vulnerable to problems of poverty, domestic violence, crime, and low parental education, which impact student learning motivation, behavior, and discipline. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Informants consisted of the principal, teachers, school committee members, and parents. The results show that school management is implemented through four main functions: (1) Planning, by developing a program for handling problem students based on empathy and social needs; (2) Organizing, through the formation of a Problem Student Handling Team (TPSB) involving teachers and the school committee; (3) Actuating, through implementing interventions such as home visits, character development, simple counseling services, motivational classes, and collaboration with village officials; and (4) Controlling, through routine evaluations, monitoring student behavior, and the application of non-violent discipline. This study concludes that a humanistic, collaborative, and character-focused management approach can create a safer, more inclusive learning environment that supports the development of students from marginalized families. These findings can serve as a reference for other schools in developing strategies for managing students with social problems

    Riset ini berorientasi untuk menganalisis dampak gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru di SMK Setia Budi Binjai. Kepemimpinan transformasional yang mengakomodasi dimensi idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, dan individualized consideration dipersepsikan berpotensi mengkonstruksi atmosfer kerja yang kondusif bagi akselerasi motivasi guru. Penelitian mengoperasionalisasikan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi sekaligus sampel berjumlah 40 guru melalui teknik total sampling. Akuisisi data diimplementasikan menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis melalui regresi linier sederhana dan verifikasi hipotesis disertai uji normalitas, linearitas, serta homogenitas. Output penelitian menunjukkan nilai t_hitung sebesar 6,255 lebih superior dibandingkan t_tabeI pada threshold signifikan 0,05 yaitu 2,028, sehingga H₀ direjeksi dan H_a terakuisisi. Temuan empiris tersebut menegaskan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja guru. Implikasi riset ini mengindikasikan bahwa implementasi kepemimpinan transformasional secara konsisten dapat mengoptimalkan komitmen dan performa guru, serta menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan kepemimpinan sekolah untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SMK Setia Budi Binja

    This study aims to analyze the implementation of principals’ managerial supervision and instructional leadership in improving the quality of the learning process. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies conducted at educational institutions that have consistently implemented supervision and teacher development programs. Data analysis was carried out thematically using an interactive model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the systematic implementation of principals’ managerial supervision through planning, organizing, implementation, and program evaluation plays a significant role in enhancing the orderliness of instructional administration, compliance with academic standards, and teachers’ professional responsibility. In addition, principals’ instructional leadership is reflected in their active involvement in supervising the learning process, conducting classroom observations, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating teachers’ professional development. The synergy between managerial supervision and instructional leadership contributes significantly to the improvement of the quality of the learning process, making it more structured, interactive, and oriented toward continuous improvement

    Abstrak Walimat al-’urs merupakan salah satu tradisi penting dalam pelaksanaan pernikahan umat Islam yang memiliki dimensi hukum, sosial, dan religius. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep walimat al-’urs menurut Wahbah az-Zuhaili sebagaimana tertuang dalam karyanya Al-Fiqh al-Islām wa Adillatuhu, serta mengkaji relevansinya dengan hukum perkawinan di Indonesia, khususnya Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan normatif-yuridis melalui studi pustaka terhadap sumber-sumber fikih klasik dan kontemporer. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Wahbah az-Zuhaili memandang walimat al-’urs sebagai sunnah mu’akkadah yang berfungsi menegaskan keabsahan pernikahan, menumbuhkan rasa syukur, dan memperkuat relasi sosial dalam masyarakat. Konsep ini memiliki titik temu dengan hukum positif Indonesia yang mengakui walimah sebagai bagian dari praktik sosial keagamaan, meskipun tidak diatur secara normatif. Dengan demikian, walimat al-’urs dapat dipahami sebagai instrumen penguatan nilai-nilai spiritual dan sosial dalam institusi perkawinan Islam. &nbsp

    Collaboration between parents and teachers is a strategic component in enhancing the professionalism of early childhood educators. In early childhood education, teacher professionalism is shaped not only by pedagogical competence but also by the ability to build partnerships with parents as the primary learning environment for children. This literature-based study analyzes various forms of parent–teacher collaboration and their contribution to improving teacher professionalism in early childhood education. The findings indicate that effective collaboration involves two-way communication, joint planning of learning activities, parent involvement in school programs, and the use of parental feedback to improve teacher capacity. Such synergy supports the development of pedagogical, social, personal, and professional competencies. The study concludes that partnership-oriented approaches rooted in trust, communication, and active participation are essential to improving PAUD educational quality

    This research is motivated by the challenge of cultivating a sound moral-spiritual foundation (qalbun salim) in early childhood. It aims to develop a model for internalizing the value of honesty, derived from the story of Prophet Musa in the Quran, to strengthen qalbun salim. Employing qualitative library research with thematic interpretation (tafsir maudhu'i), the study synthesizes exegetical findings with pedagogical theories. The results construct a three-phase internalization model: (1) Narrative Engagement, introducing the story's ethical core; (2) Affective Connection, fostering emotional-spiritual reflection on honesty; and (3) Habitual Reinforcement, through activities embodying truthful behavior. The study concludes that the story of Musa offers a profound narrative framework for concretizing qalbun salim, advocating for the integration of such scripturally-based models into early childhood curricula to build a strong ethical foundation

    INTEGRASI NILAI-NILAI CINTA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PAI BERBASIS KITAB KUNING

    This study analyzes the integration of love values into Islamic education based on the yellow book at MI Roudlotul Mubtadiin Balekambang Jepara. Amidst the trend of education digitization, this love-based curriculum emphasizes the values of compassion, empathy, and humanity as the foundation of learning. The purpose of this study is to identify the application of love values in PAI learning, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors and their influence on student understanding. The descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation review show that the integration of love values in PAI learning through the study of classical Islamic texts is appropriate and successful in improving student competence and religious character in PAI learning. However, the main obstacles are the weak competence of educators in mastering modern pedagogy and the limited time in the formal curriculum, which pose challenges for institutions. The researcher concludes that the integration of values in the Love-Based Curriculum for PAI learning can be effective with the adoption of a religious culture from the pesantren environment, namely through the study of classical Islamic texts
