Development of low-emission public transport as the implementation of the electromobility policy
This paper discusses various aspects of the development of low-emission public transport as the implementation of the electromobility policy. Fossil fuels, the primary source of energy for the transport sector, are harmful to the environment. Ecological transport solutions, such as electric vehicles, bicycles and public transport powered by renewable energy sources, offer a cleaner, more sustainable alternative. The transition from fossil fuels to ecological transport solutions will require significant investment in infrastructure, research and development and public education, but the benefits far outweigh the costs. The topic of electromobility is crucial for environmentally friendly transport. This paper presents philosophical, strategic and legal aspects of electromobility
Rzeczywistość w anime, anime w rzeczywistości. Nowe praktyki fanowskie
The article focuses on anime with realistic settings based on Japanese locations and on new practices among viewers inspired by these films. Japanese animation is famous for its ability to create fantasy landscapes and otherworldly sceneries, yet it is not known for its pursuit of realism. Animation, as a medium, is used for creating new worlds rather than depicting the existing one. But in the last two decades by presenting real sites in Japan, anime has made a remarkable shift in its orientation towards realism. Director Shinkai Makoto has established his career on rendering digital images of places from his surroundings and turning them into movies. Many other animators followed in his footsteps and created series depicting real-life locations from Tokyo as well as rural Japan. Kyoto Animation Studio is famous for using detailed renderings of real-life locations as settings of its nichijōkei anime series. These new practices in creating anime have resulted in new practices among viewers, such as seichijunrei and butaitanbō. In these new fan practices the evolution of anime as a medium can be observed: from one that creates fantastic landscapes into the one that gives a new visibility to existing locations
Metafizyka muzułmańska — kryzys, reformacja, transformacja, reintegralizacja?
The paper is an introduction to the collection of articles, published in the current issue of “Studia Philosophica Wratislaviensia”, on both the subject matter conceived (as broadly as possible) as Islamic metaphysics and on the very studies of this research area (the current state of knowledge, conjunctures, tendencies, prospects etc.). It attempts to provide presentation of discussion of topics and problems, which can be included in this area, but offers also first drafts of tentative and “work-in-progress definitions” of how Islamic metaphysics can be understood with its orientation on the most recent contexts, inspirations and applications, internal structures and dynamics relating to its interpretations and evolutions, as well as its original, historical versions. One of the inspirations for the project of studying the Islamic metaphysics presented here is rooted in Jasser Auda’s ambitious works on Islamic law, not narrowed to a technical, specialized domain of research about foundations (fundamentals), sources, jurisprudence (usul al-fiqh) or specific legislation related to the Shari’a. The paper sketches a general orientation map introducing basic concepts and methodological strategies used by Auda with the prospects of their further application to the study (and potential rethinking) of Islamic metaphysics

Przewlekłość postępowania a konieczność zasięgnięcia opinii biegłego w sprawach karnych — uwagi „de lege lata” i „de lege ferenda”
This publication aims to highlight the practical issues related to the participation of experts in criminal proceedings in terms of their timely and proper performance of their opinions in confrontation with the guaranteed right of the parties to a hearing without undue delay. The aim of the following publication is also to draw attention to the prolonged lack of comprehensive statutory regulation of the institution of an expert witness and the resulting consequences for the efficiency of court proceedings involving expert witnesses.
Post-pandemic echoes in the forms of spending and organizing leisure time by the Polish people
This article explores the extent to which various leisure activities adopted during the pandemic, due to the closure of service facilities and other restrictions, are still popular among individuals. It draws on both secondary research and primary data collected through a website survey technique among 1,100 adult Poles in November 2022. The findings indicate that Poles continue to enjoy streaming movies and music, and maintain social connections online even after the pandemic. Those who used physical activity tracking apps during the pandemic still rely on them. Due to travel restrictions and uncertainty of the pandemic period, respondents now plan and book trips within Poland on short notice
Assessment of selected elements of healthcare in the opinion of healthcare workers
The healthcare system is an important part of the functioning of any country. A special role in this system is played by the personnel — especially medical, but also non-medical personnel, who perform their tasks based on the available resources. The article considers the opinions of healthcare workers about selected elements of this system proposed by Zgliczyński. The opinions of employees regarding the current healthcare system compared to the one in 2019 are also included, highlighting the nature of these changes. Bearing in mind the relatively limited literature in the field of the considerations undertaken in this article, they can be regarded as important, up-to-date, and filling the research gap in this respect. The aim of the study was achieved using a critical analysis of the literature on the subject and a diagnostic survey. Empirical data were obtained from fieldwork conducted among staff of public and/or private sector healthcare facilities
Neophenomenological strategies in techno-images. Towards the post-metaphysical ontology
The article deals with the deconstruction of “metaphysics of presence”, based on the subject-object duality, in a postsecular/mystical approach. Post-metaphysical ontology, that is described here as negative ontology, needs a neophenomenological tool to be revealed. Characterized by a “wave” structure, beyond the “hard presence”, it can’t be defined as “being” or “non-being”. It is rather a kind of perpetual motion, determined by the trajectory of “photons of light”. This recognition seems to find an appropriate manifestation in a contemporary techno-culture. In the field of media technology (analog film or digital new media art), the negative ontology may be experienced by strategies of neophenomenology, in which “sus- pension” (epoché) gesture would concerns first the “ground” itself, then the aesthetics and narration, constituted by the cognitive/rational act of counsciousness. In other words, the visuality of the techno-image may be a tool of liberation of the perception from a cognitive/rational paradigm, which is closed to experience of what is the Other / the apophatic, wave Reality as it is. What should be underlined, in this proposal neophenomenology is not only the epistemology; the virtual image is directly related to negative ontology. An intuitive, mystical transformation of vision, proposed here, that denudes the discourse of representation, allows us to immerse into pure/“naked” Seeing and pure/“naked” Being. Exemplary materials to the outlined issues are films by Béla Tarr and video installations by Bill Viola
