THE INFLUENCE OF TASK-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING AND AUDIO-LINGUAL TEACHING APPROACH ON MANDARIN LANGUAGE LEARNING OUTCOMES
The aim of this study is to look into the influence of Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT) and audio-lingual teaching approaches on Malaysia tertiary level non-native Mandarin learners’ learning outcomes in the teaching of Mandarin as a global language. A quasi-experimental study was carried out on 43 Universiti Malaysia Kelantan students, where they were divided into two groups. Group A contained 21 students, while Group B had 22 students. The two groups were studied to compare the influence of the two different teaching approaches: TBLT (Group A) and audio-lingual teaching approach (Group B). Willis’ (2006) Task-based Learning Framework was applied as the teaching framework in Group A (TBLT), while dialogue memorisation was applied in Group B (audio-lingual teaching approach). The results of the teaching approaches were analysed using simulated oral test, where language fluency, language accuracy and language pronunciation were the elements the researcher looked into. The results of the findings showed that Group A indicated a drop in the learning outcomes’ mean score in the first cycle of the post-treatment test, but the condition changed in the second cycle post-treatment test and delayed post-treatment test, where the learning outcomes of Group A (TBLT) outperformed the control group’s (audio-lingual teaching approach). The finding of the research provides suggestions towards teachers to apply communicative task between non-native learners and native speakers to improve learners’ learning outcomes. It also advises teachers to apply TBLT in a longer term rather than in a short term.

E-EVALUATION: HOW TO BUILD AN EASY AND PAPERLESS EVALUATION SYSTEM WITH LIMITED RESOURCES (CASE STUDY AT EDUCATION AND TRAINING CENTER FOR BSSN)
Evaluation as an important component in the implementation of a training should be done not only to measure the success of a training program but also as input and suggestion for the development of future training program. The usual method of training evaluation is to use paper that certainly cost and time, not to mention the process of data input and compilation. When the method is changed using softcopy that is sent via email, the constraint still continues. Not to mention when not all users have personal email. Development using online application tools would require a large resource, while in Education and Training Center of BSSN have limited resources both human resources and funds. However, this should be done for the success of paperless and e-Government programs in the government institutions carried by BSSN.The author tries to make the evaluation design by using the available online tools, google forms, with elements of assessment that have been determined in the rules. This form link will be dispersed through whatsapp application facility to each of the users from one of the training programs as the case study. From the results of the distribution of the link obtained the e-evaluation design results not only facilitate the user but also able to save costs and time, facilitate the process of data input and compilation and control functions to the process of collecting the form again, especially for users from outside Education and Training Center of BSSN environment
MOTIVATIONAL FACTORS TO PROMOTE STUDENTS’ INTEREST AND INVOLVEMENT IN TEACHING-LEARNING ENGLISH
There are many problems in English language teaching as Second Language Learning. Among them, the most common problem found in students is lack of motivation and lack of student’s interest. To be effective teaching and learning, student’s emotion and tendency is necessary. As teacher understands how important the motivation and their interest are, various kinds of teaching methods and strategies have been applying in the foreign language educational field. Therefore, this paper suggests how to arouse the student’s interest through wholehearted support classroom environment and relevant activities. External motivational factors such as teacher’s teaching style, understanding of students’ level and their difficulties, relevant lesson plans, positive teacher-student relations are helpful for teacher to reduce students’ anxiety and negative attitude in learning. Similarly, activities such as Warm-up activities, creating Story with the students (for writing and speaking skills with role play), and activities in teaching learning English help them to activate. Improving motivation makes students and teachers good learning outcome

Moreover, the researcher administrated on (699) female of general and special education teachers. The findings of the study were the level of knowledge of ODD management strategies is high, but the level of knowledge of ODD definition is moderate. The study found statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) among the average of teacher’s responses according to job variable for special education teachers on the total score of the knowledge of ODD definition. Also, there was significant difference at the level of (0.01) among the average of teacher responses according to experience variable for teachers who have had experience between 5 to 10 years on the total score of the knowledge of ODD definition. However, there were no significant differences among the average of teacher’s responses according to the level of education. Training courses and workshops for general education teachers, and some topics for future researches were suggested such as the extent of correlation between ODD and disabilities of special education students
THE ISSUE OF CORRUPTION IN THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE-QUESTIONING THE ARBITRATORS’ JURISDICTION?
Corruption and a private dispute resolution - two disciplines that have nothing in common? Contrarily. The area of international trade is, as a consequence of liberalization and globalization, free of many economical, legal and physical barriers between countries today. The international cooperation between subjects of different states and the exchange of goods and services is going hand in hand with a risky growth of international criminal activities. The jurisdiction of national judges has been limited in this field since the existence of an alternative dispute resolution that is more suitable to the global and commercial needs and claims. The aim of this paper is to analyze whether it is appropriate, in the context of the international arbitration proceedings, to raise an issue of corruption that may have affected or otherwise distorted the performance of a contract. The conclusion of this paper reveals that such issues should be permitted to be raised by the arbitrators in arbitral proceedings since the principal decision-making powers of the arbitrators in the area of international trade is undeniable

PROCESSESS OF CHILDREN’S LEARNING AND SPEECH DEVELOPMENT IN EARLY YEARS
Speech development is important children's development. a crucial tool to learning for communication and building relationship with others as well as enhancing language attainment in children which is top priority. It is not only the sole responsibility of those working with children to provide support for language development and sustenance of the child but a joint partnership with parents, caregiver, families and policymakers. Many parents begin communication with children once pregnancy is established in a woman and the voices of other people who communicate with this woman make contact with the baby. At early childhood stages babies cry to attract attention and communicate with adults to get what is their need. This cuts across when they are wet, hungry, in pain, need attention and adults in turn respond positively to the babies. From when children are delivered, they get integrated in the language of the day by those who interact with them as parents and other adults. They respond through meeting with eyes, making sounds and gurgling. This led the children through taking part in conversations and become communicators. The development of language is a strong bridge for a child’s brain and cognitive development. When there exist many options of language to choose from, ingenuity of language usage abound and new ways of talking is generated. The creation of verbal communication cannot be viewed independently but hugely important to an all round development during the first years of his or her life
LOCATING PATRIARCHY IN VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN INDIA: SOCIAL, LEGAL AND ALTERNATIVE RESPONSES
From womb to tomb, women in India are subjected to different forms of violence. Contemporarily, persistent violence against women is leading to its normalization but what lacks is an interrogation of its causes. In this paper, I outline how patriarchy is a promising concept to explain instances of male violence, and how conscious use of violence bolsters the mechanism of subordination. This paper aligns with feminist analyses which evoke gender-power relations, male dominance and female subordination which serve to maintain patriarchy and perpetuate systematic violence against women. Secondly, this paper discusses the legal framework of the criminal justice system in India, asserting that it is not meaningfully reformed, and endures a patriarchal narrative. Women’s courts as alternative approaches which evade formal legal structures are discussed and their empowerment framework is critically analyzed. Furthermore, the public outcry to multiple forms of violence against women is compared to highlight that there are marginalized forms of violence against women, and marginalized women whose experiences of violence have been underrepresented.

Different disciplines have explored the concept of lecturing from different perspectives. However, adapting some modern methods of lecturing in Nigerian universities have not been systematically studied. Therefore, this paper examines critically the modern methods of lecturing in our modern days tertiary institutions in Nigeria. In agreement with other researches, this paper notes that there are many challenges facing the methods of teaching in Nigerian Universities today. Triangulation method was used to gather information for this paper, and both primary and secondary sources were used to obtain information for this article. The findings of this paper show that the traditional lecture method will not lead to much educational achievements unless it is combined with interactive engagements with the students and prompt feedback from the tutorsThe paper recommends that if Government could live up to her expectation by provision of basic amenities and state-of-the-arts teaching facilities to the tertiary institutions, the phenomenon could be reduced. A concerted effort is therefore needed among all stake holders in the education sector for the task of promoting effective teaching in our tertiary institutions
