CO-CREATION: POSITIONING DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES IN THE MULTIDIMENSIONAL SPACE
The idea of co-creation has been applied by managers long before academic researchers started studying co-creation. de Koning, Crul & Wever, 2016 reviewed literature on over fifty models of co-creation and presented four meta-models by synthesizing the literature they reviewed. In our paper, our main focus is to position three different co-creation examples in the co-creation space presented by de Koning et al., 2016 in their meta-models. Our first step is to identify all independent dimensions in each meta-model and develop on multidimensional model of co-creation. Once we have developed the multidimensional model, then we could position the three cases in which we have some in-depth understanding of how co-creation is applied. The first case is the co-creation experience from SAP, the enterprise resource planning software provider and the co-creation efforts with its customers. The second is the experience from those using Adobe software and publishing their own creations. Adobe provides a space for these original creations and share these creations with other Adobe software users. The third case is an example of automobile producers working with their auxiliary suppliers and developing new components or parts which enhance the performance of the new automobile. Our attempt to position these co-creation cases is to understand whether any other additional dimension(s) is (are) required to describe the co-creation space and the spectrum of activities where co-creation takes place. From the experience we gain by applying the multidimensional model, we intend to make contributions in future based on in-depth studies to be conducted based on our learning from this exercise

CHRISTIANITY, IGBO TRADITIONAL RELIGION AND ISLAMIZATION
In all Igbo society, there are no atheists. This is because religion in the indigenous Igbo culture was not an independent institution. It is an integral and inseparable part of the society. Every Igbo man has the idea of the existence of the Supreme Being and worships him with every reverence. There was peace and tranquility among the people. The people had fear and respect for sacred objects. Morality, respect for elders and the fear for the gods were highly regarded. Since the arrival of Christianity and Islam in the Igbo society, the peace and stability in the Igbo society has been threatened. Christians and Muslims have resorted to unhealthy competition for religious and political power in order to assert their rights and supremacy which has resulted to violent encounter and consequently created a pluralized religious environment in the traditional Igbo society. Yet those who converted to Islamic and Christian religions still resort to the tradition religion in the face of serious challenges. This work among other things adopts a functionalist theory to arrive at its findings. And the methodologies such as sociological, phenomenological, anthropological and historical were utilized to harmonize on the issue of Islamization and Christian inversion of the traditional Igbo society. This work recommends that a proper enculturation theology be applied as a solution on the ongoing dialogue between faith and culture. It observed that the Igbo man is highly religious and have had much religious experience before the advent of Christianity and Islam. This work therefore concludes that all the element of foreign culture should be contextualized and adapted into the Igbo tradition
“THE MOST USEFUL MEMBER OF SOCIETY?”: AN ANALYSIS ON THE IMPACT OF ENLIGHTENMENT ON ANTI-SLAVERY ARGUMENTATION IN THE LATE 18TH CENTURY AMERICAS
This paper focuses on the impact of the Enlightenment movement in Europe and the Americas on how the anti-slavery advocates structured their argumentations and supporting evidence. By mainly examining primary sources in the late eighteenth century, such as local newspapers and lawsuit documents, and comparing it with prior anti-slavery writings as The Selling of Joseph, this paper is able to find evidences of new argumentation methods such as rational thinking and the use of pure reason, as praised by the Enlightenment thinkers. Also, this paper can find traces of existing ideas proposed by well-known Enlightenment thinkers such as John Locke and Thomas Jefferson in the primary sources it examines. The most exciting findings of this paper are how anti-slavery supporters' argument showed traces of early socialists ideas, which is believed by the author to be the product of their use of reason and rational thinking
IS WOMEN POLITICAL INCLUSION AN END IN ITSELF IN RWANDA? A META-SYNTHESIS OF QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE EVIDENCES
Informed by the theory of women’s political representation, the present paper employs a thematic meta-synthesis method to investigate whether or not women political inclusion in political institutions furthers gender equality in Rwandan society. The main findings suggest that Rwanda has achieved high political representation of women, which may increase power for some women by allowing them to have a greater voice in society and access to education. However, numerous women do not ensure gender equality in all spheres of life as they continue to suffer excessively from politico-ethnic exclusion, unemployment, poverty, heavy domestic responsibilities, gender-based violence, and lack of access to health care services. Legal changes and policies designed to promote gender equality are unquestionably worsening. Although an underlying economic rationale remains leading, gender policies and strategies are implemented with attention to quantitative results rather than qualitative outcomes. Our findings suggest that the current statistics on the gender gap do not express the real situation of Rwandan women. Besides, these findings yield a theory that high women's political participation may not translate into gender equality. Future research should aim to explore possible solutions to the identified problems
APPLICATION OF GAMIFICATION IN INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMING: A CASE STUDY
Institution of higher educations has struggled to provide engaging method to learn programming although effort has been made by educators but often with limited success. The question is how best to teach introductory to programming for novices students is often not addressed properly. This is because learning programming for college students especially for new learners in programming present many challenges such as subject difficulty, lack of motivation in doing exercises, passiveness in class and diversity of student abilities. Since students often faced a lot of difficulties when learning introductory of programming, gamification has the potential to provide a way to promote students’ motivation and engagement while also providing feedback on the students’ level of competency of the learned material. Gamification is the process of incorporating game elements into education in an effort to increase student engagement. Thus, there appears to be a good fit between introductory of programming and gamification. Taking these elements into consideration, this paper seeks to apply the concept of gamification to semester 1 students taking Java Programming as the first level of programming subject. Some best practices in gamification such as competitions, incorporating engaging games elements, scoring using rewards and levels, badges, providing feedback, and providing homework to encourage informal learning are going to be applied. Finally, several popular online applications such as Kahoot, Online Crossword Puzzle and Online Quiz were also designed to see the impact on these gamification tools towards learning of students. The game would be designed to have 3 levels that increase in difficulties with competition as a core element to increase student’s engagement. This paper would also seeks to design the user evaluation form that can be used to determine the effects of applying gamification on the student’s engagement, motivation level, and understanding of the topic in introductory programming subject. Through the research findings it could provide a platform in formulating alternative ways besides the traditional teaching method for educators in creating educational programming games and applying it to teach novices in introductory programming subjects.

The authors performed factor analysis, internal consistency and correlated the translated Hausa version with Spielberger’s State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI-State). Findings: The translated Hausa version of the scale produced high internal consistency for the two subscales (Cronbach’s alpha 0.82 for anxiety related to surgery subscale and 0.71 for information desire subscale respectively). APAIS-H correlated well with Spielberger's state Trait Anxiety Inventory STAI-state with a correlation coefficient of (r = 0.81), Conclusion: APAIS-H has been found to be valid and reliable instrument to be used in the assessment of preoperative anxiety in Hausa speaking patients scheduled to undergo surgical operation
THE EXPERIENCE OF SELECTED TYPHOON HAIYAN SURVIVORS ON CO-OPERATIVE FORMATION AS PART OF THEIR REBUILDING AND RECOVERY STRATEGY (CASE STUDY APPROACH)
This paper was initiated as an offshoot to help selected Typhoon Haiyan survivors and to serve as a model to other calamity survivors who would like to help themselves after the devastation. It considered the experience of selected Typhoon Haiyan survivors on the co-operative formation. It also ascertained how cooperative formation could help create jobs as rebuilding strategy to help the survivors of calamities. The study used the case study methodology to develop a theory on cooperative formation for the survivors of calamities and to evaluate the cooperative entrepreneurship livelihood program as an intervention. Findings show that formation of coops could create jobs and contribute to helping the survivors to escape from poverty. The cooperative formation mobilized the selected typhoon survivors to be together and look for solutions that could help them rebuild what they had lost during the calamity. These outcomes support the literature review showcasing how cooperative formation is well suited to ordinary people, including survivors of calamities who do not have enough capital to put up their own business. It would be to the advantage of survivors of different calamities to have similar studies that would support the identified research outcomes for easier replication and modeling
