The business world is a complex one. Several factors come into play to make work a source of suffering and malaise. This can be seen in the daily complaints and protests from workers towards their superiors, their colleagues and even towards their professional activity itself. Negative feelings accumulate and fuel psychological wear and tear. These are workplace risks that are closely linked to the way the organisation functions, known as psychosocial risks (PSR). Of course, companies have a moral and legal responsibility to safeguard the well-being of their employees, but failings and negligence are part and parcel of the very reality of this professional world. In this study, we were interested in verifying the relationship that might exist between the fact that an employee takes pleasure in regular physical activity and sport and his or her perception of and adaptation to situations of work-related stress. The study involved 149 managers. The methodology used involved two types of study. A qualitative exploratory study and a quantitative confirmatory study. The results confirm the beneficial impact of regular physical exercise on the perception of work-related stress and the very nature of coping strategies, which in turn contributes to a positive state of well-being at work
The Impact of Career Guidance Service Quality at the German Agency for International Cooperation on Service Recipients' Satisfaction: The Role of Career Counselors as Mediating Factors, in Jordan
This exploratory research study aims to comprehensively understand and analyze service recipients' overall satisfaction with their career counseling experience at the German Agency for International Cooperation in Jordan. The evaluation of this service varied significantly based on the diverse socio-demographic information collected from participants. Furthermore, the perceived quality of the career guidance service emerged as the most significant factor directly influencing the overall satisfaction levels of service recipients. The study is based on quantitative approaches to the data collection process, a mixture of research methods. The structural model was examined in two stages. In the first stage (direct effect) the effect (QOS→ ECC) was significant (table 4 ), therefore H1 was supported, also effect was significant about (ECC→STA), hypotheses 2 was supported, (QOS→ STA) was not significant so hypotheses 3 were not supported. To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first to investigate whether career counselors who work at the GJU-CoB-CDC are mediating factors that can affect the relationship between career guidance service quality and the satisfaction of GJU-CoB-CDC service recipients
Soils in tropical areas experience a decline in productivity, partly due to acidification, leading to phosphorus fixation in the soil. To sustainably address this issue, the use of natural amendments presents a viable option. Various phosphate amendment formulations have been developed, combining phosphate rock (PR) and/or triple superphosphate (TSP). This study aims to evaluate the impact of these formulations on rice yields in acidic lowlands of the Central-West region of Côte d'Ivoire. Eight amendment formulations, composed of PR and TSP, were tested on five plots over three consecutive growing seasons, with each plot considered as a replication. The results showed that the application of phosphate amendments significantly improved rice grain and straw yields on amended plots (ranging from 4.28 to 7.62 t/ha) compared to unamended plots (ranging from 2.51 to 3.38 t/ha). Treatments with a higher dose of PR produced the best results (from 5.61 to 7.62 t/ha), with the 40% PR + 60% TSP (T4) formulation being the most effective, regardless of the yield components. These findings suggest that the use of natural phosphates can significantly improve rice yields in acidic plots in Côte d'Ivoire
Addressing the self-directed learning culture gap in Kenya's competency-based Curriculum Junior School integrated Science post-COVID-19
There are varied bodies of research on self-directed learning (SDL), a few of these studies have been done about developing a self-directed learning culture (SDLC), especially in Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) junior schools. The study mainly focuses on how the curriculum reforms for Kenyan CBC junior school integrated science and the current theoretical instructional model have promoted the development of SDLC. The data is gathered, examined using the Kantian critical judgment theory model, and evaluated using the standard reflective self-directed instructional model (RSIM) by Mentz, Laubscher, and Olivier (2021). Key theoretical premises, sub-themes, and themes are developed using the categories scrutinized and analyzed. According to the analysis, no education reform has suggested that schools, teachers, and students in Kenya's CBC junior school should develop the common themes, sub-themes, and learning strategies of SDLC. A novel instructional model that supports the development of the SDLC is thus needed

Influence of Product, Price, Promotion and Place on Banana Market Trend in Kilimanjaro-Tanzania
The study focuses on the influence of Product, Price, Promotion and Place on Banana Market trends in Kilimanjaro. Also, the study provides the market strategy to enhance the competitiveness of banana companies in the current market dynamics. Through quantitative research, this paper revealed the effectiveness of (4P) in the Banana marketing strategy and the significant links between place, price, products, promotion and the impact in increasing the market opportunity in the banana sector. Specifically, the study evaluates the performance of marketing strategy practices across various dimensions. The Marketing mix strategy was explored in terms of 4p. The study was conducted in Kilimanjaro targeting a sample of 575 banana growers from 52 wards. This study employed a cross-sectional survey approach to examine the Influence of Four (4P) in the banana value chain Kilimanjaro. Descriptive statistics and chi-square tests were used in data analysis and the results were presented in tables to underline the study's important conclusion and recommendations. The results show that 99.3% of banana growers have a great challenge with access to the market and poor price information. Moreover, 62.8% of producers rely on middlemen rather than delivering bananas to private companies. Based on these findings, the private sectors are required to decentralize the business model and develop a marketing strategy by implementing the marketing mix in a way that will acquire and then sustain the competitive edge in the market. These will enhance the competitiveness of banana companies and lay a solid foundation for their sustainable success in the banana business
A Comparative Examination of Compensation Frameworks for Unjust Terminations: Insights from Diverse Jurisdictions
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the compensatory systems for unfair dismissals in Europe, particularly in England, Malta, France, Portugal and Italy, examining their legal foundations, procedural mechanisms, and remedial approaches. Drawing on statutory provisions, landmark cases and scholarly commentaries, this analysis reveals both convergences and divergences in the five jurisdictions’ approaches to protecting employee rights and promoting social justice. While England’s framework emphasises procedural regularity and reasonableness, Malta’s regime adopts a broader concept of fairness, whereas France places significant value on the concept of transparency, Portugal’s system promotes stability and Italy’s system prioritises job security and reinstatement. This study underscores the importance of comparative analysis in fostering dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing amongst stakeholders to develop more robust, responsive, and inclusive legal frameworks that safeguard workers’ rights and ultimately promote social cohesion
The Average Collection Period, The Inventory Turnover Period, and The Average Inventory Period: Statistical Relations and Interpretation
The importance of the Cash Conversion Cycle emerges in helping to make appropriate financing decisions for different industries. Therefore, the research mainly focuses on the return on assets (ROA) issues and how it is affected by the three components of the cash conversion cycle; Average Collection Period (ACP), Average Inventory Turnover Period (ITP), and Average Payment Period (APP). Since the topic refers to the potential statistical relationship between the three components and the return on assets, the research has been organized to ascertain the validity of the answer to the research questions and hypothesis regarding which component affects more on the return on assets. The research indicates that more APPs lead to more return on assets. On the other hand, a negative relationship between ACP ITP and ROA indicates that managers can produce more value by minimizing ACP and ITP to a fair figure. In addition, the findings indicate that attention should be paid to the components of the cash conversion cycle to avoid periods of potential financial distress
Examining the Multifaceted Determinants of Antenatal Care Utilization through Structural Equation Modelling: Insights for Maternal Health Interventions
Scope and Aims: Maternal and newborn mortality remain critical global public health challenges, especially in underdeveloped countries. One of the most effective strategies for reducing these mortality rates is the proper utilization of antenatal care (ANC). This study investigates the factoras influencing ANC utilization and aims to predict the demographic characteristics that impact ANC attendance using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted with 254 pregnant women at St. Lucas Hospital in Ghana. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Chi-square analysis were employed to model and examine the factors influencing antenatal care utilization. Results: The findings reveal that the majority (72%) of postpartum mothers had four or more ANC visits during their most recent pregnancy, with 47.6% initiating ANC attendance in the first trimester. Significant demographic factors associated with ANC utilization included maternal education level (P = 0.000), occupational status (P = 0.000), age (P = 0.030), marital status (P = 0.034), religious affiliation (P = 0.000), husband’s education (P = 0.000), and husband’s occupation (P = 0.000). Additionally, SEM analysis indicated that health provider factors (P = 0.000) and community factors (P = 0.005) play a critical role in ANC utilization, while individual factors (P = 0.067) and quality of care factors (P = 0.079) were not statistically significant. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the importance of health provider and community factors in the utilization of ANC services. The findings also highlight that nearly all demographic characteristics, including both the mother’s and husband’s education and occupation, are crucial determinants of ANC attendance
