Social Context of Civil Process for Sustainable Development

    Get PDF
A democratic society develops the concept of a social state, expressed in ensuring equal conditions for the participation of vulnerable persons in civil turnover. At the same time, humanity has agreed on a sustainable development plan, in which social sustainability is set as one of the main goals. Modern civil procedure law is mainly based on the codification of the 19th century, which in turn originates from the "Roman law" created precisely for the citizens of Rome. But since then, public relations have changed and modern technologies are constantly developing. The concept of a digital judge, smart contracts, and a blockchain system has already been developed. Therefore, it is necessary to update the civil procedure legislation to find out how it provides an equal platform for the participation of vulnerable persons in civil disputes. The purpose of this article is to discuss procedures for regulating civil disputes in a social context. As a result of identifying existing gaps, specific recommendations have been developed that will bring civil dispute resolution closer to sustainable development plans and ensure the participation of vulnerable persons in civil disputes on equal terms

    Get PDF
This article examines the challenges and future prospects related to the career management of teachers in Africa, highlighting major obstacles such as the shortage of qualified educators, precarious working conditions, and a lack of professional recognition. These factors compromise not only the quality of education but also the motivation of teachers. The study is based on a sample of 217 teachers distributed across several educational districts, using a structured questionnaire to assess professional motivation, recognition, and access to continuing education. The results reveal significant disparities: for example, 75% of teachers in the Mangave district feel recognized, compared to only 55% in the Doualare district. In terms of continuing education, 70% of teachers in the Mangave district have access to it, while this figure drops to 45% in the Doualare district. The average professional motivation score is 3.8 on a scale of 5, with intrinsic motivation (4.2) being higher than extrinsic motivation (3.6). Additionally, 66% of teachers feel recognized in their profession, underscoring the importance of recognition in maintaining professional engagement. The statistical analyses confirm these results: the differences in professional motivation (p <0.05) and professional recognition (p <0.01) are significant, while access to continuing education shows no significant variation (p >0.05). The article emphasizes that a systemic and comprehensive approach is necessary to address these challenges, requiring reforms in educational policies and increased investment in the sector. It calls for close collaboration between governments, educational institutions, and local communities to create an environment conducive to the professional development of African teachers. Despite the obstacles faced, collective commitment can contribute to building a sustainable educational future for teachers and students in Africa, thereby ensuring quality education for future generations

    Get PDF
Agriculture is one of the main economic sectors in Albania, contributing to about 20% of the GDP and about 45% of the employment opportunities. The high rate of youth migration represents a threat to the future and sustainability of the agriculture sector. The purpose of this paper is to identify the factors that influence the career choice of young people in terms of rural engagement and explore the challenges that hinder them from selecting agriculture as their career path. This paper focuses on the students of the Faculty of Economy and Agribusiness at the Agricultural University of Tirana (AUT), as agribusiness is a closely related field to agriculture. The results show that employment opportunities, personal interest in the field, and financial prospects are the main factors that motivate students to choose a study program in agribusiness. However, other factors such as a positive perception of agriculture, participation in internship programs and extracurricular activities, or career consulting from the university influence students to engage and retain in agriculture and related fields. This study provides valuable data to formulate and develop strategies for attracting students in the agriculture sector

    Get PDF
The abundance of information available through the internet, mobile applications, and cloud computing has made it convenient for users to access a wide range of data. However, this convenience comes at a cost, as this information is constantly at risk of being compromised by cybercriminals and hackers. While the recognition of potential information security dangers is increasing in developed countries, regions like Libya in North Africa still exhibit insufficient protection levels. The purpose of this study is to compare various factors that may influence or affect users' practices and awareness in home and work environments. Specifically, the factors investigated are policy, behavior, IT knowledge, and education. To achieve the study's goals, a quantitative methodology was employed, and a survey was created to assess the correlation between these key factors and security awareness and practices in home and workplace settings. The survey attracted 220 respondents and was analyzed using statistical methods to determine the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variables. The results of this study indicate a moderate positive correlation between policy, IT knowledge, and education with security awareness and practice in both home and workplace environments. Only the behavior factor had a low correlation for home users. These findings indicate that the level of security awareness and practices at home and in the workplace is generally moderate. This study aims to serve as an initial step in emphasizing the importance of security training sessions for employees and highlighting the need to increase knowledge of information security. The findings are intended to inspire further research and focus on providing security information to the public, thereby disseminating new knowledge on the importance of security training and enhancing awareness of information security

Impact of corporate strategy on the digitalization of management control: evidence from Moroccan companies

    Get PDF
For several years, digitalization has emerged as a critical strategic issue for companies, influencing all of their functions, including Human Resources Management (HRM), logistics, finance, and others. It has been the subject of numerous research studies, particularly in developed countries. However, this type of research remains largely underexplored in developing countries. In this context, this paper, based on a survey conducted among forty-two companies in Morocco, aims to address two key questions. First, how can the degree of digitalization of management control in these companies be assessed? Second, does corporate strategy have a significant impact on this digitalization? The primary findings of the study suggest that the level of digitalization is "moderate." Furthermore, we demonstrate that corporate strategy significantly influences the digitalization of management control; specifically, prospector companies are more likely to adopt digital management control systems than defender companies. This research makes important contributions both theoretically and managerially. Theoretically, it provides new insights into the digitalization of management control. From a managerial perspective, it offers valuable guidance for decision-makers to better align the digitalization of management control systems with the broader strategic objectives of their organizations

    Get PDF
The dynamic “environmental education” aka ErE is not an end in itself, because it is an integral part of school programs. Due to its internal and external efficiency, it is par excellence, the intermediate level serving as a bridge via sustainable development. Thanks to its widespread popularization, his epic currently conquers a spacious geographical coverage throughout the world. This leads us to go into depth on an analysis responding to the principles of sustainable development while detecting the extent of the damage suffered. The strategic axis of this analysis is exhaustively confined to the study of human activities, in particular, those which revolve around the secondary economic sector, to mention only industrialization and its negative repercussions on environmental parameters. The concept of sustainable development conveyed by ErE has generated endless controversies, due to the educational practices it advocates. However, with the renewed interest in regulations advocated by Agenda 21, the ErE aims, firstly, to educate students, from nursery school to university, on the capital importance of sustainable development, then on the need to protect the environment, and finally, on the effective participation of citizens in the process thus initiated, and secondly, to apply the principles of sustainable development at the level of decentralized local authorities (regions and municipalities). Thus, rightly or wrongly, It is not wrong to highlight that any recovery attempt that targets the acceleration of sustainable development on a global scale goes inseparably hand in hand with a harmonious, balanced and stable economy. Consequently, for the program thus recommended to be successful, there must be a support measure that absolutely prioritizes the wishes of the beneficiary localities and this, with a long-term vision. This initiative aims to encourage rights holders to act together by making them aware of their ownership of sustainable development, and to avoid any attempt at divergence of opinion and any inconsistency likely to undermine the pre-established program

    Get PDF
Rectal surgery is the only potentially curative treatment for many rectal pathologies, whether benign or malignant. However, post-operative complications can significantly impact the prognosis of patients. This retrospective study aimed to investigate morbidity and mortality among patients undergoing rectal cancer surgery over a two-year period at the Department of Digestive Cancer Surgery and Hepatic Transplantation of Ibn Rochd University Hospital (CHU) in Casablanca.". Among 62 patients, the average age was 61.98 years, with a female-to-male ratio of 1.5. Overall morbidity and mortality rates were 40.3% and 12%, respectively. Post-operative complications primarily included surgical site infections (40%) and urinary infections (20%), while long-term complications comprised incisional hernias (20%) and sexual problems (8%). The primary cause of mortality was intraoperative hemorrhage (8%). Factors influencing morbidity and mortality included age, BMI, comorbidities, type of intervention, and the benign or malignant nature of the pathology. Therefore, prevention involves preoperative identification of high-risk patients and enhanced perioperative care through multidisciplinary collaboration
