OIL PRICES-GROWTH NEXUS IN ALGERIA USING THE MEDAS MODEL
Objective: This Article aims to investigate the impact of oil price fluctuations on economic growth in Algeria using the Mixed Data Sampling (MIDAS) model during the period 1990-2022
Theoretical Framework: The theoretical aspect addressed the different time-frequency models by defining the Midas models and addressing the weighting functions used in estimating these models.
Method: Estimating the relationship between a high-frequency variable (oil price) and a low-frequency variable (economic growth rate GDP) using the MIDAS model using Almon's PDL Weighting Function.
Results and Discussion: The results of the study concluded economic growth in Algeria is directly affected by oil prices, The study also found that MIDAS models have a great predictive ability, allowing researchers to utilize all available information for high-frequency variables, instead of using annual average values that lose a lot of information. avoid converting low-frequency variables to match high-frequency variables, reducing econometric issues in model diagnostics.
Research Implications: Research Implications: It is suggested that rentier countries such as Algeria work to diversify their economy away from oil, and follow up the process of economic diversification and accelerate it during periods of high fuel prices by working to develop non-strategic sectors as agriculture, tourism and manufacturing industries.
Originality/Value: These results are expected to benefit policymakers in government, by urging them to invest in renewable energies as a crucial strategy for achieving sustainable development and a key factor in mitigating oil price shocks, particularly during recent recurring global crises. Future research directions include exploring existing gaps and promoting standardized studies

Objective: The study aims to balance liquidity and profitability and its impact on financial performance, one of the most serious problems faced by banks in all countries of the world, because it is an important element that maintains the continuity of the bank’s work. The study aimed to identify the relationship between the three variables and their impact on Iraqi commercial banks.
Theoretical Framework: This topic presents the most important concepts and theories on which the research is based. Liquidity, profitability and financial performance stand out, providing a solid basis for understanding the context of the investigation.
Method: This study is based on the descriptive analytical correlational approach, which is widely used in human research and studies. The study population is represented by (44) Iraqi commercial banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange. The researcher chose (2) banks from these banks that expressed cooperation with him in providing... The data is unlike other banks that did not express cooperation due to fear of leaking some of their information, as they claimed, which they consider important in the nature of their work, in addition to the lack of response from employees in some banks to answer the questions of the questionnaire. The sample members were represented by workers in the banks in the study sample at various levels. Administrative, as (415) questionnaires were distributed to individuals, electronically.
Results and Discussion: The results of the study found that there is a direct effect between liquidity and financial performance, directly and indirectly, in whole and in part, in addition to that the profitability variable plays a mediating role between liquidity and financial performance, and this is what leads us to the fact that the balance between profitability and liquidity leads to improved financial performance in Iraqi commercial banks.

These reflections may include the banks sampled for the study and the services they provide.
Originality/Value: The importance of this study came from the scarcity of studies that attempted to define and understand the nature of the relationship between variables (liquidity, profitability, and financial performance), as well as the current study’s attempt to address a realistic problem that directly affects the performance of employees in Iraqi banks
DA DESCONSIDERAÇÃO DA PERSONALIDADE JURÍDICA NO PROCESSO FALIMENTAR
Objectives: The present work aims to analyze the application of the theory of piercing of the corporate veil in bankruptcy, and what will be the effects on the partners and affiliated companies. It also aims to demonstrate how the cumulation of the two institutes will take place and how the corporate chain can be held responsible.

Discussion: The problem identified consisted of verifying permission to extend the bankruptcy effects to partners and affiliated companies, and what are the requirements for this, in view of the need to protect companies, avoiding successive bankruptcies.
Research Implications: The study developed results in the proper application of the theory of piercing the corporate veil in the bankruptcy process, appropriately guided by the principles of social function and preservation of the company, which will serve to support caution in the prolongation of bankruptcy.
