    Objective: This study aims to apply a predictive model using a decision tree algorithm on real patient data to identify patterns related to hospital readmission rates, contributing to improved clinical decision-making and advancing technology transfer in healthcare.   Theoretical Framework: Grounded in predictive analytics and healthcare management, the study leverages the decision tree algorithm's ability to provide interpretable outputs, enabling healthcare professionals to make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.   Method: Real patient data was used to construct a decision tree model. The algorithm was trained to identify factors associated with clinical resubmission rates. Performance measures, such as accuracy, precision, and recall, were applied to validate the model's robustness and predictive capabilities.   Results and Discussion: The decision tree successfully identified critical predictors of hospital readmissions, including patient characteristics and clinical factors. The model demonstrated high predictive accuracy, providing actionable insights for stratifying at-risk patients. These findings underline the model’s practical utility in supporting evidence-based interventions.   Research Implications: For clinical practice, the model facilitates targeted care and resource allocation, reducing readmission rates. This approach provides in-depth insights into the effects of AI on governance within higher education institutions.   Results and Discussion: The research findings highlight that AI integration in higher education governance improves decision-making and operational efficiency through data-driven insights and automation.     Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the collaborative dynamic between the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors, focusing on its role in promoting effective corporate governance, enhancing transparency, accountability, and corporate performance.   Theoretical Framework: The study is grounded in the principles of corporate governance, which emphasize the importance of clear roles, responsibilities, and communication between governance bodies. It draws from theories related to organizational synergy, transparency, and risk management.   Design/Methodology/Approach: This research employs a qualitative approach, analyzing case studies, recent events, and examples of governance practices. The study evaluates the interactions between the Audit Committee and the Board, focusing on legal, financial, ethical, and social dimensions. The methodology includes data collection from diverse sources, such as corporate reports and interviews with governance experts.   Findings: The results suggest that effective collaboration between the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors leads to improved governance outcomes, such as enhanced decision-making, stronger internal controls, and better risk management.     SPORTS CLUB LOYALTY: GENERAL AND AGE-RELATED ANALYSIS. AN EXAMPLE FROM RECREATIONAL RIDERS IN RIDING SCHOOL

    Objective: The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of age on sporting club loyalty, focusing on horse riding in France.   Theoretical Framework: Using a consumer behavior marketing approach, this study provides an understanding of the relationships and influence between the constructs of loyalty, satisfaction, switching barriers, affective commitment to the group of friends and community commitment.   Method: A multigroup SEM was used to provide a global understanding. The Data collection was carried out through on online survey amongst 615 respondents in France.   Results and Discussion: Whatever the age is, the results confirm the classical influence of satisfaction on loyalty and highlight the significant influence of riding teachers on customer loyalty to riding schools. The relationships between the other constructs differ by age with different factors influencing satisfaction and loyalty. Younger riders’ loyalty relies more on teacher linkage, while older riders consider a more global environment, including switching barriers and commitments.   Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications of this research are discussed, providing insights into how the results can be applied or influence practices in the field of sport management. These implications could encompass equestrian activities and sports businesses.   Originality/Value: This study contributes to the literature by showing the differences or correlations between segments of recreational riders according to their loyalty to their riding club. Thus, adapting marketing and management strategies according to the age of recreational riders is essential to improve loyalty according to its main drivers

    GUIDELINES TO CREATE WORK-LIFE BALANCE IN INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE DIGITAL ERA

    Objective: Approaches to achieving work-life balance in industrial organizations during the digital era are investigated, with the aim of developing a structural equation model to enhance managerial effectiveness and competitiveness.   Theoretical Framework: Survey research and mixed-methods statistical frameworks are employed, integrating qualitative and quantitative data to explore work-life balance in industrial organizations. Descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics are used to assess relationships and evaluate structural equation model's fit with the data.   Method: Qualitative research is conducted through in-depth interviews with 9 experts and focus group discussions with 11 specialists. Quantitative research is conducted via a survey of 500 industrial business executives. Data are analyzed using descriptive, inferential, and multivariate statistics.   Results and Discussion: Four key components to achieving work-life balance are identified: 1) Discipline and Motivation (X̅ = 4.32), 2) Innovative Activities (X̅ = 4.31), 3) Work Environment (X̅ = 4.29), 4) Organizational Support (X̅ = 4.22). A significant difference (p < 0.05) in approaches is revealed between small-to-medium sized businesses and large organizations. Statistical analyses indicated the structural equation model met the evaluation criteria and aligned well with observational data.   Research Implications: This research provides practical guidance for implementing effective work-life balance strategies in industrial organizations while advancing theoretical understanding of key factors influencing employee morale, productivity, and competitiveness.   Originality/Value: This study contributes to the literature by developing a structural equation model for work-life balance in digital-era industrial organizations, offering new insights into compensation, innovation, and workplace dynamics, with the potential to reshape organizational practices and enhance managerial effectiveness

    Objective: This study evaluates administrative empowerment application among employees at M'Sila Unit, assesses adherence to human resources governance principles, and analyzes the relationship between empowerment and governance. It aims to determine if empowerment positively influences human resource governance.   Theoretical Framework: The theoretical framework outlines the concepts of administrative empowerment and human resources governance. It discusses the role of organizational structure, self-determination theory, and stakeholder theory in empowering employees. It also discusses the importance of balancing stakeholder interests and addressing agency problems. The framework suggests citing relevant literature, visual representation, and real-world examples to support the research and understanding of the relationship between administrative empowerment and HR governance.   Method: The research design, participants, questionnaire development, data collection procedure, statistical tools, reliability and validity, and limitations of the method are all essential aspects of a research study. The study's objectives, target population, sample size, sampling technique, questionnaire structure, data collection procedure, ethical considerations, and statistical tools used are also discussed. The method section should include examples, flowcharts, diagrams, and pilot studies for clarity.   Results and Discussion: The study focuses on administrative empowerment and HR governance principles in the Algerian Electricity Production Company. Descriptive statistics are presented, along with correlation and regression analyses. Key findings highlight the positive impact of administrative empowerment on HR governance principles. The study's findings are compared with existing literature, theoretically and practically, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement. Limitations include sample size and generalizability issues.     Objective: The aim of the study is limited to the complex dynamics between permanence and migration, exploring the motivations behind these population movements in the light of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).   Theoretical Framework: This topic presents the most important concepts and theories on which the research is based. Of particular note is the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)], which provides a solid basis for understanding the context of the research.   Method: The decision to return or stay is intrinsically linked to professional, social and personal factors. Professional aspects include salary considerations, working conditions and opportunities for career advancement. In contexts where the labor market is highly competitive, it can become an element of repulsion for the immigrant. On the other hand, financial incentives from the country of origin can act as attractive factors, as evidenced by the Chinese government offering benefits for the return of qualified emigrants, making professional opportunities in the country more attractive. Social aspects refer to the immigrant's adaptation to the social, political and cultural context of the host country. Personal factors, such as family situation and friendship networks, are interlinked with social and cultural issues, influencing the decision to stay or migrate.   Results and Discussion: The topics studied revealed that migrating or staying is a complex choice, influenced by various motivations. Some are rooted in economic stability and employment conditions, or even with the influence of family seen as a crucial factor, molding educational and professional decisions, transmitting values and expectations. Cultural preservation and identity stand out as fundamental elements in the decision-making process.   Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications of this research are discussed, covering factors such as geographical mobility, resistance to change, family influence, cultural preservation, identity and the socio-economic impacts of demographic change.   Originality/Value: The importance of this study arises from the scarcity of studies that have attempted to cover factors such as geographical mobility, resistance to change, family influence, cultural preservation, identity and the socio-economic impacts of demographic change

    INPUTS AND OUTPUTS OF HIGHER EDUCATION: A READING OF THE ALGERIAN HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM IN THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE INDEX

    Objective: The purpose of this research is to assess and understand the condition and difficulties facing the education system, in Algeria in light of the knowledge economy, with particular focus on the alignment between university outputs and labor market demands.   Theoretical Framework: The study is based on the concept of the knowledge based economy model which underscores the pressing requirement for institutions to adjust to progress and changing economic landscapes. It examines the relationship between higher education outcomes and economic development in developing nations.   Method: The study employs an analytical approach to evaluate Algeria's higher education system, examining public spending patterns, graduate employment rates, and the alignment between academic programs and market needs.   Results and Discussion: The results indicate that with rises, in funding, for public education and enhancements educational inputs, Algeria faces persistent challenges: (1) high unemployment rates among university graduates, (2) misalignment between academic training and industry requirements, and (3) limited focus on entrepreneurship and innovation in university curricula.   Research Implications: The study recommends strategic reforms including: (1) reorienting universities toward entrepreneurship education, (2) strengthening research and innovation capabilities, and (3) developing learning environments that foster creativity and practical skills. These changes aim to shift from a purely employment-focused model to one that emphasizes job creation.   Originality/Value: In this study a thorough examination of the education system, in Algeria is presented within the framework of the knowledge economy., offering evidence-based recommendations for transforming universities from institutions that prepare job seekers to centers that create job creators, thereby contributing to sustainable economic development

    A REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE ON DIGITAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

    Objective: This study aims to comprehensively review digital entrepreneurship (DE) research, identifying key themes, trends, and future research directions.   Theoretical Framework: The review draws upon frameworks including entrepreneurial ecosystem theory, digital platform theory, and theories of entrepreneurial intention formation to understand DE dynamics.   Method: A systematic and bibliometric analysis of 276 English-language articles published between 2000 and 2023 from the Scopus database was conducted. VOSviewer software analyzed publication trends, keywords, and citations.   Results and Discussion: DE research has significantly grown, particularly in the last five years. Five thematic clusters emerged: DE ecosystems, cultivating digital entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship in the digital economy, exploring new frontiers, and sustainable, competitive digital enterprises. The study highlights influential works and emerging areas such as digital platforms, entrepreneurial intention, and DE education. The discussion contextualizes these findings within the theoretical frameworks and their implications.   Research Implications: This research provides valuable insights for researchers, educators, and policymakers. It emphasizes the need for further research on the impact of digital technologies on entrepreneurial ecosystems, individual entrepreneurial intentions, and the role of education in fostering DE.   Originality/Value: This study contributes by offering a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of DE research, identifying knowledge gaps, and proposing a future research agenda. Marco Teórico: La revisión se basa en diversos marcos teóricos relevantes para el ED, incluyendo la teoría del ecosistema emprendedor, la teoría de las plataformas digitales y teorías de formación de la intención emprendedora. Estos marcos proporcionan una base para comprender la compleja interacción de factores que influyen en la actividad de ED. Método: Se realizó un análisis sistemático y bibliométrico de 276 artículos en inglés publicados entre 2000 y 2023, recogidos de la base de datos Scopus. El software VOSviewer se utilizó para analizar las tendencias de publicación, las co-ocurrencias de palabras clave y los patrones de citas. Resultados y Discusión: La investigación sobre ED ha experimentado un crecimiento significativo, especialmente en los últimos cinco años. Se identificaron cinco grupos temáticos: ecosistemas de ED, cultivando emprendedores digitales, emprendimiento en la economía digital, explorando nuevas fronteras y empresas digitales sostenibles y competitivas. El estudio destaca obras influyentes y áreas emergentes, como las plataformas digitales, la intención emprendedora y la educación en ED. La sección de discusión contextualiza estos hallazgos dentro de los marcos teóricos y sus implicaciones. Implicaciones de la Investigación: Esta investigación proporciona información valiosa para investigadores, educadores y responsables políticos. Destaca la necesidad de investigaciones adicionales sobre el impacto de las tecnologías digitales en los ecosistemas emprendedores, las intenciones emprendedoras individuales y el papel de la educación en el fomento del ED.     GENEALOGIA DOS VIVOS: ENSAIO SOBRE A CATEGORIA SUJEITO EM FOUCAULT E EM CERTEAU

    Objetivo: A proposta do artigo é aplicar a metodologia genealógica de Foucault ao cotidiano dos sujeitos vivos, observando como se relacionam com as práticas e relações cotidianas, especialmente no ambiente escolar. A ideia de uma "Genealogia dos vivos" contrasta com a abordagem documental de Foucault ao inserir a observação participante.   Referencial Teórico: é baseado principalmente em dois autores: Michel Foucault e Michel de Certeau. O texto utiliza o conceito de Genealogia Foucaultiana, que consiste em analisar como os assuntos, as instituições e os saberes são produzidos dentro de contextos históricos específicos.   Método: Além de Foucault, o trabalho também se baseou em Michel de Certeau, cujo método de pesquisa valoriza a vida cotidiana e as práticas dos sujeitos ordinários. A proposta metodológica, portanto, combina a análise documental com a observação detalhada do cotidiano, buscando descrever e compreender as táticas e resistências dos indivíduos em seus contextos sociais.   Resultados e Discussão: O artigo propõe uma nova forma de aplicar a metodologia genealógica de Michel Foucault, tradição baseada em análises documentais de registros históricos, para pesquisas com sujeitos vivos em seus cotidianos. Isso amplia o alcance da Genealogia Foucaultiana ao incorporar a observação participante em ambientes como o escolar, criando o conceito de “Genealogia dos vivos”
