Parler arabe de Fès ou l’illusion d’en avoir beaucoup dit

The shared linguistic properties of so-called regional dialect and other equally regional dialects cannot obscure what gives them a "certificate of authenticity"—those special features of linguistic evoloution, that are galloping and inexorable, are under linguistic threat that remain first the price of continuing to belong to a more global linguistic nation. The dialect of Fez is an example of one of these linguistic regional particularities, and this contribution is intended to consider the value of the linguistic dialect of Fez and a reminder of what such a distinctive dialect risks to be lost, both in its different states, its variable particularities and in its evolution. &nbsp

Investigation of potential antioxidant and anti-urolithiatic activity from methanolic extract of Atriplex halimus : Antioxidant and anti-urolithiatic activity from Atriplex halimus

The present work has for objective to evaluate the antioxidant and antiurolithiasic and activities of  the methanolic extract AHMeOH leaves of the plant Atriplex halimus. In vitro evaluation of the antioxidant activity of the extract was carried out by tthe method the reducing power assay. The method of reducing power assay shows an increase in absorbance with different concentrations of the extract compared to the negative control with a significant difference (P≤0.002). The concentration (2mg/ml) gives the antioxidant best activity compared to other concentrations with a highly significant difference (P≤0.05) . In antiurolithiasise activity, six groups of Wistar rats were treated respectively with  distilled water, 1% ethylene glycol in distilled water, AHMeOH (100 mg/Kg bw), AHMeOH  (200 mg/kg bw) beginner the first day, AHMeOH (100 mg/Kg),AHMeOH (200 mg/kg bw)  after 15 days of ethylene glycol adminstration. Just after day 28 of experiment, urine samples  were collected and the volume, the pH was measured. After, were analyzed for the following  dosages: urinary oxalate as well as blood samples are taken at  the ocular sinus after anesthesia for the determination of: urea, creatinine and uric acid. The  results show that the control group has severe damage while the groups treated with  AHMeOH reduced significantly (P≤0.05) the formation of stones in the kidneys

Functional Potential of Citrus aurantium Peel Powder in Managing Obesity-Related Health Challenges

    No full text
The escalating prevalence of obesity and its associated complications, including oxidative stress and dyslipidelmia, underscores an urgent need for effective interventions. This study evaluated the potential of Citrus aurantium peel powder as a dietary supplement to mitigate these effects in Wistar rats fed a high-fat and high-fructose diet. Over 44 days, three supplementation levels (1%, 3%, and 5%) were assessed. The supplementation notably attenuated weight gain and reduced fat deposition on kidneys and genital apparatus (p<0.05). The highest dose (5%) significantly enhanced oxidative status in key organs, with notable increases in superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in heart and kidneys compared to the control group (p<0.05). Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, indicative of lipid peroxidation, showed substantial reductions in the liver and kidneys at 5% supplementation (p<0.05). Lipid profile improvements included reductions in total cholesterol (0.437±0.114mmol/L, p<0.01), triglycerides (0.324±0.045mmol/L, p<0.05), and LDL cholesterol (0.067±0.012mmol/L, p<0.05).  These findings highlight the antioxidant and lipid-modulating effects of Citrus aurantium, linked to its rich bioactive compound profile. The results suggest that Citrus aurantium peels, typically underutilized in the Mediterranean region, may serve as a promising functional food ingredient to combat obesity-related oxidative stress and dyslipidemia. Future studies should explore clinical applications and the integration of this resource into dietary strategies to address global health challenges

LA DEMARCHE QUALITE DANS LES ENTREPRISES MAROCAINES FACE AUX EFFETS DES CRISES

    No full text
This research aims to determine the effects of current crises on the quality approach in Moroccan companies. To do this, our research approach is based on both a literature review and an empirical study. The results show that the quality approach in Moroccan companies has been significantly disrupted by the emergence of several risks (loss of customers and suppliers, drop in demand, shortage of raw materials, increase in production and transport costs, etc.). These require Moroccan companies to update their quality approaches, including the review of their relationships with their strategic partners and collaborators (customers, suppliers, distributors, subcontractors, staff), in order to maintain their resilience in a crisis context.
