How is Artificial Intelligence (AI) Changing the Teacher Education Industry?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been transforming various industries, including education. It has the potential to revolutionise the field of education, especially teacher training. There are significant opportunities that it can bring to education; however, implementing AI in education also poses some challenges that need to be addressed. In this respect, the present paper aims to investigate the role of AI in teacher education and discuss its key opportunities and challenges. It also explores how AI can improve the quality of teacher education, enhance teachers’ practices, facilitate personalised learning, and create more virtual classrooms, simulations and continuous professional development opportunities. The study highlights the ethical, social, and cultural implications of AI in teacher education. It concludes that AI has the potential to transform the teacher education industry, but it equally requires careful planning and implementation and highly demands ethical considerations
Green Synthesis and Characterization of Lead (II) Oxide (PbO) Nanoparticles Using Neem Plant Extract as a Natural Reducing Agent
In this study, lead (II) oxide (PbO) nanoparticles were synthesized using a simple, non-toxic green synthesis method involving Neem plant extract as a reducing agent. The synthesized material was characterized as reddish tetragonal crystalline litharge (-PbO). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed a preferred growth orientation along the (101) plane, with crystallite sizes ranging from 31.42 nm to 54.81 nm and an average size of 43.47 nm, confirming its nanomaterial status. Microstructural analysis showed that the highest dislocation density (10.12 ⨯10-4 nm-2) occurred in the smallest grains, indicating a higher concentration of defects per unit area in these regions. Morphological examination via SEM revealed porous, clustered nanoparticles with irregular surfaces. Optical studies showed thickness-dependent direct band gaps ranging from 2.81 eV to 3.24 eV, with reflectance remaining below 5% in the visible-NIR region. These properties suggest that the synthesized PbO nanoparticles are suitable for applications in photovoltaics, photo-detectors, and antireflective coatings
Les procédés du comique et leurs ressorts dans L’ILE DES ESCLAVES de Marivaux et LE MARIAGE DE FIGARO de Beaumarchais
This article presents a comparative analysis of the argumentative strategies and the functions of comedy in The Marriage of Figaro by Beaumarchais and The Isle of Slaves by Marivaux, two emblematic works of the Enlightenment Theatre.Extending Molière's legacy, 18th-century theatre reflects the philosophical questions of its time by addressing central themes such as social inequalities, power dynamics (masters-servants), and the condition of women. In this context, comedy (verbal, situational, of character, etc.) plays a fundamental role, not only as a dramatic device but as a vector of critical discourse. The objective of this research is to critically analyze how the argumentative strategies and discursive choices in these two major theatrical works contribute to the originality of Marivaux and Beaumarchais's respective writing. The article aims to show how the different forms of comedy convey a unique vision of theatre and serve an argumentative purpose inherent to the Enlightenment spirit, ranging from the correction of morals to political dissent.
: His article explores the essential role of the ordinary object in the renewal of artistic techniques and the aesthetic modalities of pictorial representation. Often perceived as trivial or mundane due to its grounding in our daily uses and habitual manipulations, the object nevertheless harbors a creative potential that the artist manages to reveal. Thus, any object can become a source of unexpected creations capable of subverting the fundamental conventions of artistic practice. From this perspective, the boundaries between an ordinary object and an artistic object blur in favor of a fruitful intersection between Art and everyday life. Such an approach has granted the most modest materials an expressive and symbolic value. The analysis highlights that pictorial representation owes its evolution to the innovative use of the object, which transforms the perception of artistic creation and expands its aesthetic horizons.
Crystal structures, Hirshfeld surface analysis and computational studies on two 2,3-dihydrobenzo[b][1,4] thiazepine derivatives
The crystal structures, Hirshfeld surface analysis, and computational studies of (E)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(3-nitrostyryl)-2,3-dihydrobenzo[b][1,4]thiazepine(2) and (E)-2-(2-(2,2-dimethyl-2,3-dihydrobenzo[b][1,4]thiazepin-4-yl)vinyl)phenol (3) have been presented. Compound 2 crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21/c with 4 molecules in its unit cell whilst compound 3 crystallized in the triclinic space group P-1 with 2 molecules in its unit cell. A study of the compounds' Hirshfeld surfaces has been conducted to provide insight into their structural properties. A juxtaposition of the experimental and computed bond lengths and bond angles indicated good agreement among the bond length results with variable departures from amongst the bond angles
Green valorization of Arisarum vulgare O. Targ. Tozz: A sustainable approach for removing Basic Yellow 28 dye from aqueous solutions
The present work consists of studying the effectiveness of Arisarum vulgare O. Targ. Tozz leaves treated in hot water at 100°C for the removal of Basic Yellow 28 textile dye from aqueous solutions. The biomaterial was characterised by physico-chemical analyses such as FX, DRX, FTIR, SEM and pHzpc. The experiments were performed in batch mode to determine the the influencing of various system parameters, such as pH, adsorbent mass, initial dye concentration, temperature and ionic strength.
The experimental results were modelled using the kinetic equations of pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order and the intra-particle diffusion model. The kinetic data is well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model, with a correlation coefficient value R2 closed to unity with diffusion in the liquid film. The equilibrium data were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm models, and showed that the Langmuir model provides a good description of the adsorption process, with a retention of the Basic yellow 28 molecules in monolayers on the surface of the adsorbent with a maximum adsorption capacity of 127.322 mg/g. The thermodynamic parameters show that the adsorption process is spontaneous and exothermic. The treated leaves of Arisarum vulgare O. Targ. Tozz can be used as a low-cost adsorbent to remove textile dyes
