Outside AC exhaust wind power plant is one of the micro-scale renewable energies developed in the last five years. One of the main components of a power plant is a generator. The generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. An axial flux permanent magnet generator is believed to be the most appropriate generator for a power plant with a low-speed wind power source, such as outside AC exhaust. A design analysis needs to be done to produce an axial flux permanent magnet generator capable of producing 12vdc electric voltage, which will be used to charge the battery. This research uses the theoretical calculation analysis method on three rotor designs with different sizes and obtained rotor design 1 with the most considerable maximum flux value of 0.000998352 Wb. The calculation of the generator output planning signifies that to obtain an output voltage of 12 Vdc at a frequency of 20 Hz, 166 turns of wire are needed. The output of 12.8 Vdc was successfully generated after the generators were connected in series parallel at a frequency of 27.5 Hz. The wind speed entering the power plant inlet was 5.8 m/s, with generator one at a speed of 682 rpm, generator two at 749 rpm, and generator three at 888 rpm, which will then be used to charge the 12 Vdc battery. After a load test using a 12 Vdc 6Watt lamp on the designed axial flux permanent magnet generator, it can be seen that the voltage drop begins to occur at a frequency of 22.5 Hz when the current flow begins to rise. During the no-load test, at a frequency of 22.5 Hz, the measured DC voltage was 9.2 Vdc. Meanwhile, when testing with a 12 Vdc 6Watt lamp load at a frequency of 22.5 Hz, the measured voltage is 5 Vdc. There is a voltage drop of 4.2 Vdc. Furthermore, there is a voltage drop of 2.8 Vdc, 3.8 Vdc, 4.6 Vdc, and 5.2 Vdc at 25 Hz, 27.5 Hz, 30 Hz, and 32.5 Hz. This prototype of an outside AC exhaust wind power plant is expected to be useful for daily needs in the community

Steel has various physical and mechanical properties. The very high hardness of steel makes it difficult to form or process with a machine. Based on these problems, there needs to be a treatment (treatment) that can improve the mechanical properties of steel. The annealing process is the process of heat treatment of metals or alloys by heating the metal to austenite temperatures, holding it at that temperature for a while, and cooling the metal at a very slow cooling rate. The heat treatment process aims to improve the mechanical properties of the metal or alloy. In this study, SUH 35 steel was used as the test material. Eight test materials are prepared, namely four materials Unannealed and four materials treated with annealing. Annealing specimens are given heat treatment with a temperature of 750 ° C ± 10 ° C with a holding time of 60 minutes. This specimen is carried out by turning process with variable machining feeding that varies 0,25 mm/revolution, 0.50 mm/revolution, 0,75 mm/revolution, and 1 mm/revolution. The results of this study show that the annealed material has a lower roughness value of 311.49 VHN. In comparison, the Unannealed sample has a hardness value of 607.59 VHN, which shows better machinability in the annealed material. The results of the feeding variation show that the greater the feeding value, the more it will affect the increase in the roughness, resulting in the surface grinding process

Solder Dross Recycle (SDR) machine role is to extract solder out of solder dross. SDR machine has two parameters which are working temperature and controller type. There are three working temperature references which are 220 °C, 250 °C, dan 298 °C. Controller type of the machine are available for two options which are ON-OFF and PID controller. The aim of this research is to determine working temperature combination and controller type. The SDR machine is tested with variations of working temperature and controller type. Data needed for choosing the best working temperature are extracted solder mass (ESM) and energy consumption (EC). EC is obtained from measurement by digital power meter, while MST is obtained by measuring final solder weight. EC is divided by MST to obtain Specific Energy Consumption (SEC). Data needed for choosing the best controller type is electrical power which is recorded every 10 minutes. Testing period is decided to be 200 minutes. The result of working temperature testing showed that the bigger the working temperature the smaller the KES so that the suitable working temperature in this experiment is 298 °C. The result of controller type testing showed that the smallest SEC was in PID controller with the working temperature of 298 °C which is 0.55 kWh/kg. The SEC value of 0.55 kWh/kg is less as much as 10.9% than the smallest SEC value of ON- OFF controller whose working temperature is 298 °C which is 0.61 kWh/kg. The chosen working temperature based on SEC is 298 °C with SEC of 0.55 kWh/kg out of 220 °C and 250 °C. The chosen controller type is PID controller with SEC of 0.55 kWh/kg with setting of Kp. Ki, and Kd respectively are 9, 250, and 7 out of ON-OFF controller with hysteresis setting of 0.5 °C.Solder Dross Recycle (SDR) machine role is to extract solder out of solder dross. Cars are a prevalent mode of transportation for both people and goods, with B-class hatchbacks being particularly popular in Indonesia. However, road traffic crashes remain a major concern, contributing millions of deaths annually, primarily due to human error. Autonomous vehicles offer a promising solution to mitigate these issues by reducing reliance on human control. In particular, Level 3 autonomous vehicles enhance road safety, enable independent mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and allow drivers to engage in non-driving tasks. This study proposes an autonomous vehicle model that employs a trajectory tracking approach using Model Predictive Control (MPC), a robust and widely adopted control strategy in autonomous systems. A three-degree-of-freedom (3-DOF) vehicle dynamic model was developed and analyzed through co-simulation using CarSim and Simulink to evaluate its performance during a double-lane change maneuver. The simulation results demonstrate that the vehicle accurately follows the reference trajectory and exhibits excellent dynamic performance. The roll angle remained consistently low, ranging between 0.024 and 0.026 radians—well below the rollover threshold of 0.14 radians—demonstrating strong roll stability. The slip angle varied between –0.013 and 0.0135 radians, nearly 12 times lower than the critical limit, indicating optimal traction and directional control. Lateral acceleration ranged from –3.59 m/s² to 3.41 m/s², and yaw rate remained within –7.78°/s to 7.25°/s, both well within safe operational bounds. These findings confirm that the proposed MPC-based control framework enables precise path tracking, robust stability, and reliable handling performance in dynamic driving scenarios

The main issue addressed in this research is identifying the factors that influence customer satisfaction and understanding how well a product meets customer expectations. A questionnaire was distributed to collect data from consumers, and the CSI method was applied to assess the overall satisfaction level based on key aspects such as Product quality, Product durability, Price, Service, Purchasing process and Shipping process. The results showed that most consumers were satisfied with the product, with quality and after-sales service being the most significant factors contributing to overall satisfaction. However, areas such as pricing and ease of use were identified as needing improvement. The study also found that the CSI method provides a reliable means of measuring customer satisfaction and offers valuable insights into areas for product improvement. Based on the findings, the research suggests focusing on enhancing after-sales service and adjusting pricing strategies to better meet consumer expectations. Further research could expand the study to include external factors such as market competition and industry trends, while incorporating advanced analytical methods like regression analysis or machine learning for more in-depth predictions of customer satisfaction

Personality is one of the fundamental aspects that distinguishes individual behavior, thought patterns, and interaction styles. The extraversion dimension, which is part of the Big Five Personality Traits framework, reflects an individual’s tendency to engage in social interactions with two main poles, namely introvert and extrovert. Identifying personality based on this dimension has various applications, ranging from education to employee recruitment. This study aims to develop a personality classification model based on the extraversion dimension using the Extremely Randomized Trees (ERT) algorithm and to compare its performance with other algorithms, namely Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The dataset used in this study was obtained from the Kaggle platform, consisting of 2,900 entries and including social behavior indicators represented by five numerical variables and two categorical variables. The research methodology involves data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, model construction, and evaluation using confusion matrix, precision, recall, F1-score, accuracy, and ROC-AUC. The results indicate that ERT achieves the best performance compared to the other algorithms. The ERT model obtained an accuracy of 92.69%, an F1-score of 0.9269, and a ROC-AUC of 0.9429, outperforming SVM (F1 0.9173; AUC 0.9300), KNN (F1 0.9086; AUC 0.9146), and Decision Tree (F1 0.8879; AUC 0.8876). The superiority of ERT is supported by its tree-based ensemble mechanism with high randomization, which enhances generalization, reduces variance, and captures complex non-linear interactions among behavioral variables. Therefore, ERT is proven to be effective in consistently distinguishing introvert and extrovert tendencies

Experimental investigation on discarded aluminum can waste as an anodic anti-corrosion agent for steel in reinforced concrete under aggressive environments

    No full text
Corrosion of concrete reinforcement can reduce the service life of buildings, especially in aggressive environments such as coastal areas, where salt content and high humidity accelerate corrosion. Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection (SACP) is a commonly utilized method of protecting structures from corrosion by using metals such as zinc (Zn), aluminum (Al), and magnesium (Mg) as sacrificial anodes. However, the high cost of these metals has prompted research into more economical and environmentally friendly alternatives. In this study, recycled aluminum from the beverage can waste was melted at 600˚C and then formed into a circle with a diameter of 11 cm to investigate the utilization and effectiveness of recycled aluminum compared to zinc as a sacrificial anode in the SACP process. The measurement of corrosion potential involved the assessment of current density, on-potential, off-potential, rest-potential, and depolarization. The recycled aluminum anode exhibited a depolarization value of 680 mV, demonstrating that waste cans could serve as an effective sacrificial anode to protect concrete structures
