LB Lamp Production Planning Based on Fuzzy Logic Approach at PT XYZ
Increasingly tight competition in the industrial market encourages companies to optimize production planning to meet customer demand efficiently. Effective production planning is key in achieving this goal, as it guides entities towards achieving their goals appropriately. This research aims to develop a fuzzy method for production planning at PT XYZ, a lamp manufacturing company. This method is designed to assist PT XYZ The approach used in this research includes historical data analysis, forecasting techniques using the time series method, calculating raw material inventory, and applying fuzzy logic to determine optimal production quantities. Based on the results of fuzzy calculations, the production amount for the next period of 7,000 product units can be a suggestion for companies to avoid production shortages and excesses due to uncertainty in product demand.
Analysis of Fabrication Material Inventory Control Strategy Using AHP, MUSIC-3D and MIN-MAX STOCK approaches at PT. Bangun Teknik
PT Bangun Teknik Baja is a manufacturing company engaged in Fabrication, Repairing, and Machining for heavy mining equipment. The company does not yet have a basic strategy in carrying out inventory planning actions, so the amount of material ordered is only based on the estimated number of production product needs. Therefore, excessive amounts of inventory (overstock), lack of inventory (out of Stock) and frequent occurrence of Deadstock often occur. Order data, usage data and stock data on 50 types of fabrication materials with an average of 25 materials experiencing overstock, 4 materials out of stock and there are 221 Deadstock materials from August 2021 to July 2023 are used as the basis of this research. To determine the most suitable inventory control strategy according to the needs of PT Bangun Teknik Baja, processing is carried out with AHP, Music-3D with ABC, FSN and SDE Classification, and Min-Max Stock. AHP produces the most important priority classification dimension criteria, namely ABC, FSN and SDE with the most important sub-criteria being A,B,C,F,S,N,D,E,S. These results are used as a reference for Music-3D processing which produces 9 groups of material categories according to their respective characteristics of importance, namely AFD, AFE, ASE, BFE, BSE, CFD, CFE, CSD, and CSE, the 9 categories obtained their respective policy solutions by applying Min-Max Stock, by obtaining minimum and maximum limits on each material to minimize waste. ROP and Safety Stock calculations are used to minimize Overstock in minimizing Deadstock and Out Of Stock to minimize losses, so it is proven that the application of Min-Max Stock can save Total Inventory Cost by 1.45% from the company's actual policy
Implementation of Min-Max Stock Insert Components to Prevent Lost Opportunity Tooling Case Study: Automotive Component Company
Inadequate or delayed supply of raw materials or components needed for production can lead to line stoppages. Reducing the frequency and duration of line stoppages is crucial for maintaining efficiency and meeting production targets. It can happen due to logistics problemsThis research was conducted in the logistics department of an automotive component company. One of the causes is the procurement of tooling, which needs to be improved for production needs. The tooling factor is part of the logistics scope and is the highest factor causing lost opportunities and line stoppages. To minimize the impact of line production stoppages, manufacturers often implement strategies like implementing a minimum stock of insert components. The problem-solving methodology includes a five whys analysis, conducting a Pareto diagram, determining the service level of the stock level, and calculating the maximum-minimum stock level. Based on the result, 17 types of inserts must apply stock levels to avoid stock shortages
Product Development of Urban Aquaculture Supporting Equipment Based on Solar Cell Technology and Speed Bump System Using the Design For Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) Method
Urban aquaculture, like urban farming, entails using aquaculture technology to transform tiny, previously unutilized pieces of land in highly inhabited metropolitan areas into a useful area. Urban aquaculture, in broad terms, can be defined as the fish farming on small plots of land. Depending on the sort of consumable fish commodity to be grown, urban aquaculture can be implemented through home aquaculture and community aquaculture utilizing a variety of techniques. Creating a mandatory product involves the stages of development and design. At this stage, all product components, production costs, design, and assembly time are taken into account. Through sustainable product design and evaluation, it is possible to address the assembly performance and difficulties in the assembly process, as well as assembly time and costs. The design and development of this product use the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) method. DFMA is a method used to determine the product design with the best time and cost. In general, this method can also be used in development to improve the quality and measure the improvement of urban aquaculture product designs. It is hoped that urban aquaculture will provide an alternative product design to achieve high-quality products and low production costs
THE EFFECT OF TRAINING SATISFACTION, PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL SATISFACTION, AND EMPLOYEE SALARY SATISFACTION ON TURNOVER INTENTION AT PT. KAI COMMUTER (CASE STUDY AT UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA STATION)
This quantitative study, using a descriptive design, explores how satisfaction with training, performance appraisal, and salary influences turnover intention. Data were collected through a survey using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The population comprised 50 contract employees of PT. KAI Commuter stationed at the University of Indonesia, and the sample was a saturated group of the same 50 contract staff. Instrument, validity, and reliability tests were applied for data analysis, while data processing employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. Findings revealed that satisfaction with training, performance appraisal, and salary each exerted a negative and significant influence on turnover intention
THE EFFECT OF SERVICE QUALITY AND PRODUCT QUALITY ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT HAIDILAO RESTAURANTS IN JAKARTA
Increasingly fierce competition in the restaurant industry requires every business operator to provide superior service and product quality in order to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Haidilao, as one of the hotpot restaurants, faces challenges in maintaining service and product quality amid rising consumer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how customer satisfaction among Haidilao consumers in Jakarta is impacted by the quality of the products and services provided. Purposive sampling and a survey method are two quantitative approaches used in this research. 391 individuals who have made purchases at Haidilao within the previous six months participated in this study. Multiple linear regression was used in the analysis to examine each variable's partial and simultaneous influence. The findings demonstrated that, partially and concurrently, service and product quality had a favorable and considerable impact on customer satisfaction. These results demonstrate that enhancing the quality of the products and services offered is a crucial tactic for raising patron satisfaction at restaurants such as Haidilao
Green Brand Awareness, Green Brand Trust Mediators Influence of Green Marketing on Green Purchase Intention
Objective: This study aims to explore the influence of green marketing on green purchase intention and the mediating role of green brand awareness and green brand trust.Method: A random sample of 187 respondents was sampled, and PLS analysis used. Results: Green marketing positively influences green purchase intention and green brand awareness. Green brand awareness mediates the relationship between green marketing and green purchase intention. However, green brand trust has no direct effect on green purchase intention and does not mediate the relationship.Novelty: This study focuses on the mediating role of green brand awareness and green brand trust.Contribution: These findings provide insights for marketers to focus on other aspects that can increase purchase intention
