Analysis of Supplier Selection Based on Circular Economy in Fashion Retail Company Using the Fuzzy AHP Method
Currently, the linear economic model applied in Indonesia still relies on a "take-make-dispose" pattern that is unsustainable. The circular economic approach emphasizes efforts to extend the life cycle of raw materials and product resources, minimize waste, and support the regeneration of natural systems. This research analyze the important role of suppliers in supporting circular economy success in the fashion retail compay. The objective of this study is to select and validate priority criteria and sub-criteria as a performance ranking framework for fashion retail industry suppliers using the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of the Fuzzy AHP analysis indicate that quality, delivery, cost, cooperation ability, and environmental performance criteria are the priority for ranking supplier performance in the fashion retail industry, with the highest weight assigned to the quality criteria. This is followed by subcriteria such as rejection rate and product price, which carry the highest subcriteria weights. This is because there is still a significant percentage of defective goods produced due to raw materials that are easily damaged or not in line with circular economic concepts. These recommendations can aid in more effective decision-making in selecting fashion retail suppliers, considering circular economic aspects and sustainable performance
Inventory Management of Spare Parts Using ABC Classification Method (Case Study: PT Bina Sarana Sukses)
The increasing coal production directly requires special attention in inventory management. This research aims to categorize spareparts inventory based on ABC classification. PT Bina Sarana Sukses has 20,108 spare parts. The method used is ABC classification, dividing inventory into three categories based on the type of inventory and the amount of capital used. The classification results in three classes A, B, and C. Class A absorbs IDR 9,482,425,725 or 80.5% of the total inventory value, consisting of 26 items (25%). Class B absorbs IDR 1,819,909,151 or 15% of the total inventory value, consisting of 33 items (32%). Class C absorbs IDR 478,231,982 or 4.5% of the total inventory value, consisting of 45 items (43%). Based on the classification results, different control strategies are applied for each spare part class. Class A includes strict supervision, automatic ordering, and procurement priority. Class B includes periodic control and supplier evaluation. Class C includes minimal control and needs evaluation
Measurement of the Physiological Workload of Sorting Station Operators in A Palm Oil Processing Factory
One of the palm oil processing industries in Riau that has isolated entrepreneurs as part of its work. Based on the results of continuous observations using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) Questionnaire, 75% of working waste handlers experience complaints in the hands, waist, and legs. So the workload of processing operators is measured using a physiological approach in one of the palm oil processing industries in Riau. Measurements using a physiological approach are carried out objectively using the method of heart rate, energy expenditure, %CVL, and energy consumption. Based on the principles of heart rate, energy expenditure budget and %CVL, the results were found to be non-standard which requires additional improvements based on the energy expenditure budget and %CVL method
Strategic Landscape Planning Using THEMEQUAL for Sustainable Theme Park Project Success: Case BSD City Theme Park
The long-term success of theme parks is highly dependent on the integration of robust structural quality and exceptional service delivery. This study examines the influence of strategic landscape planning—using the THEMEQUAL framework—on project outcomes, focusing on BSD City Theme Park, Indonesia. Utilizing Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) on responses from 400 theme park visitors, findings show that both structural quality (β = 0.36, p < 0.001) and service quality (β = 0.41, p < 0.001) have strong, significant effects on visitor satisfaction. Visitor satisfaction, in turn, is a significant predictor of project success (β = 0.47, p < 0.001), mediating the effects of both structural and service quality. Indirect (mediation) effects account for 62% of the total influence on project success. These results demonstrate that improved construction robustness and service standards significantly elevate satisfaction (mean index = 4.18/5), visitor loyalty, and positive word-of-mouth, underpinning sustainable project viability. Practical implications highlight that integrating strategic landscape planning and superior service quality is essential for achieving sustained competitive advantage in Indonesia’s growing theme park sector
THE ROLE OF VIDEO FEATURES AS A MEANS OF PROMOTING TOURISM VILLAGES AND DRIVING THE COMMUNITY'S ECONOMY
This research aims to explore and reveal the role of video features in promoting Cimindi Tourism Village in order to increase the frequency of tourist visits and support the economic growth of the community. The method used in this research is a case study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through content analysis of 10 videos, in-depth interviews with 17 informants, and direct observation of the economic impact for six months. The results imply that video features are able to increase the frequency of tourist visits by 68% and all visual content featuring the uniqueness of nature (Ciwayang Body Rafting), culture (Badud Art), and culinary (Nasi Liwet Jolem) are the main factors of success. Tangible economic impacts were seen in the increase in turnover of handicraft MSMEs (45%), homestay occupancy (30%), and the expansion of local product markets to the five new districts. This study proves that video features are not only effective promotional tools, but also economic catalysts based on community participation. The implications of the study recommend a hybrid model between professional production and user-generated content, as well as digital literacy training for tourist village managers. The findings offer a strategic framework for sustainable tourism development by integrating technology and local wisdom
Business strategy design of anthropometric Kit products using SWOT, AHP, and Topsis analysis (Case Study: PT. Sadamaya Graha Teknologi)
Public health problems in Indonesia that have a high prevalence are stunting. The high number of stunting cases should be an opportunity to increase sales for PT. SGT as a manufacturer of anthropometry kit products. However, PT. SGT's market share is still not optimal. Therefore, a strategy is needed to increase sales in the next period. The purpose of this study is to analyze the selection of the best strategy for PT. SGT by using a questionnaire that will be distributed to 3 respondents. The data is used to conduct a SWOT analysis and IE matrix to determine the best business strategy, and then other methods such as AHP-TOPSIS are used as support in determining its business strategy. Based on the internal and external matrix (IE) analysis that has been carried out, the anthropometry kit product is located in quadrant I, namely Grow and Build. Several classifications of strategies offered are forward, backward, or horizontal integration, market penetration, market development, and product development. Through analysis using the AHP-TOPSIS method, the best strategy that can be carried out by the company is a market penetration strategy with the indicator of gradually increasing production capacity by collaborating with partners
Analysis overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) raw mill machine using DMAIC method in cement industry
Equipment failure significantly impacts machine performance, leading to decreased productivity, increased repair costs, and reduced production output. PT XYZ, a company engaged in cement production, has been experiencing frequent downtime on the Raw Mill Plant 10 machine, resulting in abnormal production volumes and reduced efficiency. These issues contribute to the engine efficiency index remaining below the industry standard. To address these challenges, a comprehensive performance evaluation and improvement strategy is necessary. This study implements Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) by integrating the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metric and applying the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology to identify and reduce inefficiencies. Additionally, a fishbone diagram is utilized to determine the root causes of the problem. The findings reveal that the OEE value for the Raw Mill machine is 80.78%, falling short of the 85% benchmark. Among the six big losses affecting equipment performance, speed losses account for 79.81%, making it the most dominant contributor to inefficiency. These results suggest the need for targeted improvements focused on minimizing speed-related disruptions, optimizing machine availability, and enhancing overall equipment performance to meet production targets and cost efficiency goals
Analisis Ekspor Kopi Menggunakan Clustering K-Means dan Davies-Bouldin Index
Indonesia merupakan salah satu produsen kopi terbesar di dunia, sehingga sektor ekspor menjadi pilar penting dalam perekonomian nasional. Aktivitas ekspor berperan dalam meningkatkan keuntungan, memperluas pangsa pasar, serta menjaga kestabilan harga komoditas dan nilai tukar. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan metode K-Means Clustering untuk menganalisis kinerja ekspor kopi berdasarkan negara tujuan. Data penelitian diperoleh dari catatan ekspor perusahaan Café Coffee pada periode 2023–2024, mencakup 40 negara tujuan beserta total kuantitas ekspor. Pengolahan data dilakukan melalui teknik data mining clustering dengan ukuran jarak Euclidean Distance. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa algoritma K-Means berhasil mengelompokkan laba ekspor ke dalam tiga kategori, yaitu laba rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Validasi model dilakukan menggunakan Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) dengan nilai 0,422, yang mengindikasikan kualitas klaster yang baik dan dapat diterima
Implementasi Feature-Driven Development dalam Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Aset Desa
Pengelolaan aset desa yang belum terstruktur secara digital dapat menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti keterlambatan dalam monitoring, kesalahan pencatatan, serta tidak adanya integrasi data yang memadai. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen aset desa berbasis web yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan aset. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Feature-Driven Development (FDD), yang menekankan pada pengembangan sistem secara bertahap berdasarkan fitur-fitur yang dibutuhkan pengguna. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter dan database MySQL. Proses pengembangan mengikuti lima fase utama FDD: Develop an Overall Model, Build a Feature List, Plan by Feature, Design by Feature, dan Build by Feature. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengakomodasi fitur utama seperti manajemen data aset, pengajuan barang, monitoring kondisi aset, penyusutan nilai aset, dan pencetakan laporan. Efektivitas metode FDD dalam mendukung pengembangan sistem yang terstruktur dan adaptif tercermin dari keberhasilan sistem dalam memenuhi spesifikasi yang telah ditetapkan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi digital yang mendukung tata kelola aset desa secara efisien dan terukur
Thermal and Flame Retardant Performance of Glass Fiber-Reinforced UPR Composites Modified with Boric Acid and Sodium Silicate
This study investigates the effect of sodium silicate (Na₂SiO₃) and boric acid (BA) as flame-retardant additives in unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) reinforced with E-glass fibres. The fire performance of the composites was evaluated based on varying additive concentrations by % volume fraction, using standardised testing methods in burning rate (BR) with ASTM D 635-22. Results indicate that Na₂SiO₃ contributes to fire resistance by forming a thermally stable, glass-like barrier, while BA proves more effective by interrupting combustion reactions and generating protective boron oxide residue. Notably, the combination of Na₂SiO₃ and BA produced a synergistic effect, resulting in a significant reduction in burning rate. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) further confirmed the enhanced thermal stability of the composite, particularly in the NB10 formulation with 2% Na₂SiO₃ and 8% BA, which demonstrated the slowest degradation at elevated temperatures. These findings suggest that optimising the ratio of Na₂SiO₃ and BA yields high-performance, fire-retardant composites suitable for applications demanding superior fire resistance and thermal durability, such as electric vehicle safety components
