Program “Merawat Keberagaman melalui Quotes Kearifan Lokal dan Nilai-Nilai Moderasi Beragama” dilaksanakan di Kampung Toleransi, Desa Jamuran, Sukodadi, Wagir, Malang, sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya harmoni sosial di tengah kemajemukan. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada internalisasi nilai toleransi, saling menghormati, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan melalui media edukatif berupa quotes kearifan lokal serta pesan-pesan moderasi beragama. Metode pendampingan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi berbasis komunitas, diskusi terbuka, produksi dan pemasangan media quotes di ruang publik, serta kegiatan refleksi nilai. Hasil program menunjukkan meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap nilai moderasi beragama, terbentuknya ruang dialog yang lebih inklusif, serta tumbuhnya kesadaran kolektif untuk merawat kebersamaan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan budaya dan kearifan lokal dapat menjadi sarana efektif dalam memperkuat toleransi dan menjaga keharmonisan antarwarga di lingkungan multikultural
Pendampingan community based tourism di kawasan wisata Desa Sidoluhur Lawang dalam mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan
Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sidoluhur, Kecamatan Lawang, Kabupaten Malang, yang memiliki potensi wisata alam, budaya, dan ekonomi lokal yang besar untuk dikembangkan menjadi desa wisata. Namun, potensi tersebut belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal karena rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dan kapasitas kelembagaan wisata yang masih terbatas. Pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) diterapkan untuk menggali potensi lokal dan meningkatkan kemandirian masyarakat melalui model Community Based Tourism (CBT). Kegiatan dilakukan dalam lima tahap, yaitu Discovery, Dream, Design, Deliver, dan Evaluation. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat berhasil memetakan aset wisata lokal, membentuk kelompok penggerak wisata (Pokdarwis), serta meningkatkan keterampilan dalam pelayanan wisata, promosi digital, dan pengemasan produk lokal. Selain itu, terbentuk model pengembangan pariwisata berbasis komunitas yang dapat dijadikan contoh untuk desa lain. Penerapan metode ABCD terbukti efektif dalam mendorong partisipasi masyarakat, memperkuat kapasitas lokal, serta mendukung pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Desa Sidoluhur
Determination of Sun Protection Factor Value and Physical Stability of Wungu Leaf (Graptophylum pictum (L.) Griff) Extract Spray Sunscreen
Sunscreen can protect the skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The
inorganic active ingredients in sunscreens can have detrimental effects on the skin. Wungu leaf (Graptophylum pictum (L.) Griff) is a suitable alternative due to its antioxidant activity and similar mechanism of action to other antioxidants with lower side effects. This study employed a true experimental method, and the data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and T-tests. The effectiveness of sunscreen is determined by the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) value. This study aims to determine the SPF value and physical stability of Wungu leaf extract spray sunscreen at concentrations of 500 ppm, 1,000 ppm, and 1,500 ppm. The results show that the spray sunscreens provide ultraprotection. The difference in extract concentration significantly affected the SPF value (p<0.05). Stability tests showed a negligible effect on color variation and a notable effect on pH and spray diameter. Despite its noticeable impact, the outcome remains within an acceptable range. The study concluded that the Wungu leaf extract spray sunscreen provides excellent photoprotection, as demonstrated by the high SPF values observed for Formula 1 (18.63), Formula 2 (23.87) and Formula 3 (29.56). In addition, the product exhibits robust physical stability, as assessed by relevant parameters
Enhancing Undergraduate Critical Listening Through Discord-Based Video Chain-Question Strategy
The advancement of digital technology has reshaped language learning, demanding pedagogical approaches that foster higher-order skills. Critical listening, the ability to evaluate and analyze spoken content, is crucial in higher education, yet students often struggle to develop it in online settings that lack interaction. This study addresses this gap by investigating the effectiveness of the Video Chain-Question strategy, implemented via the Discord platform, in enhancing the critical listening skills of undergraduate EFL students. This study employed a developmental research (R&D) design following the 3PS Model (Analysis, Strategy, Application & Evaluation). Twenty fifth-semester students from an International Class Program participated in the research. The intervention used authentic documentary videos within Discord's collaborative environment. Data were collected using pre-tests and post-tests, and subsequently analyzed using a Paired Sample T-Test. The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in students' critical listening abilities following the intervention. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test, with 92% of scores being above average. The needs analysis also confirmed that both students and lecturers were active technology users, validating the choice of Discord as an alternative LMS. The results suggest that the integration of the Video Chain-Question strategy within Discord creates a dynamic, interactive, and effective environment that successfully enhances students' critical listening skills
Students’ Voices About the Utilization of Discord in Critical Listening
The increasing popularity of the internet has prompted people to embrace digital platforms for language acquisition. Language environments currently exist in both classrooms and virtual spaces. Therefore, listening skills, which are an important feature of language proficiency, especially in higher education, can be taught through a medium called Discord as a new and useful digital learning tool. The primary aim is to dig further the students’ voices to enhance listening proficiency skills. To gather this meaningful data, descriptive qualitative design involves the instruments of classroom observation checklist, field notes, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Additionally, this study focused on the 20 students enrolled in the International Class Program at Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University Malang. The findings revealed that Discord facilities the systematic materials, allow features for supporting offline and online class, design the new interactive educational agendas, and immediate response in Discord facilitates dynamic discussions
Disregard for children's rights in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic: Exploring sociocultural dynamics
The issue of the disregard for children's rights during the pandemic is critical and demands urgent attention. This article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the various forms in which children’s rights were disregarded by examining the sociocultural context surrounding the management of the COVID-19 pandemic. It explores the intricate relationship between the pandemic and the role of children within the cultural fabric of Indonesian society. Using a qualitative approach, the authors collected data from relevant informants, conducted thorough observations, and reviewed important documents to address the issue of children's rights being disregarded during the pandemic. The collected data is presented in a narrative format and then subjected to interpretative analysis using three conceptual frameworks: paternalism, objectification, and subordinate domination. The findings of this study illustrate a significant disregard for children’s rights in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This disregard is attributed to cultural factors that position children as subordinate to adults, resulting in the imposition of adult-centered standards for meeting children’s needs. Furthermore, within patrilineal cultural contexts, children are relegated to the status of objects expected to unquestioningly comply with the decisions of their parents or adult figures. Importantly, children are perceived as passive recipients of the impacts of pandemic policies, with limited involvement in determining their own needs. This study emphasizes that overlooking the potential contributions of children in addressing the challenges posed by the pandemic can give rise to new problems and hinder effective responses to COVID-19

A state-of-the-art approach for the direct and indirect measurements of the ultrasonic wave reflection on the fresh cement paste in determining the setting behavior via Fourier transformations
The setting and hardening of cement paste were crucial for casting fresh concrete in the field, as they directly impact the timing and cost of framework removal and other operations. The conventional Vicat needle test for setting time had several drawbacks, including being manually operated, time-consuming, irreproducible, and non-continuous. To address these issues, two ultrasonic methods (ultrasonic wave reflection direct (UWRD) and ultrasonic wave indirect (UWRI)) were developed to monitor the stiffening process of cement paste. These methods analyzed waveform signals of longitudinal (P-wave) and shear (S-wave) waves that reflect at material boundaries (UWRD: paste-air interface; UWRI: acrylic-paste interface). The signals were processed using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Short Time Fourier Transform (STFT). Cement pastes with three water-to-cement ratios (0.30, 0.40, 0.50) were tested, and results showed that both methods accurately predicted the final setting time. The UWRD method determined the final setting time over 95 % accuracy by detecting the first reflected P-wave, although it could not measure the initial setting time due to noise interference. The UWRI method identified the final setting time based on the lowest amplitude point of the S-wave reflection with a minor deviation of less than 6 % from the traditional measurement. The proposed UWRD and UWRI were effective, reliable alternatives to conventional methods for monitoring the setting behavior of cement paste. By providing automated, continuous, and reproducible measurements, these techniques have the potential to improve quality control in concrete construction and optimize scheduling in field applications

Hasil perencanaan, pembelajaran, pengajaran dan kegiatan-kegiatan dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa Indonesia, merupakan sesuatu yang perlu dikomunikasikan, koordinasikan secara bersama-sama, dari level instansi/lembaga sampai ke level nasional. Semua atau yang mewakili, terutama yang diamanahi tanggung jawab pendidikan bahasa Arab, harus mempunyai kepedulian lebih, agar menoleh, melihat, mengetahui program dan kegiatan pendidikan nasional. Tidak hanya yang merencanakan, yang mengadakan, yang melaksanakan program kegiatan, yaitu pendidik, namun semua elemen dan stakeholder terkait mesti bekerjasama dalam mewujudkan cita-cita bangsa nan mulya
