Integrasi teknologi dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab di madrasah
This research aims to expose different ways of using technology in Arabic language teaching, assess the effectiveness of technology in improving students' language skills, and discover the obstacles and supporting elements of using technology. The ultimate goal of this research is to provide practical suggestions on using technological innovations to improve the quality of Arabic language learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This study applies a qualitative approach with a multisite type to explore the process of technology integration in Arabic language teaching in various educational institutions. Through data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation in several locations, this research seeks to uncover patterns of implementation, obstacles faced, and effective strategies that support the success of technology integration in contextualized Arabic language learning. The data is collected through classroom observations, interviews with Arabic teachers, and documentation studies on using digital learning media. Data analysis in this study was conducted qualitatively with a multisite approach, starting from the data reduction process by selecting important information from interviews, observations, and documentation in several educational institutions. The results show that learning videos, digital dictionary apps, online quizzes, and language learning platforms such as Google Classroom and Duolingo significantly increase student participation. However, unequal technology infrastructure and limited training for teachers become major problems. It is proven that using technology in Arabic language teaching increases learning effectiveness and interactivity. However, implementation relies heavily on well-prepared teachers, available infrastructure, and institutional policy support. For these innovations to be successful and sustainable, educators and technology developers must work together
Cancellation of marriage due to apostasy in Islamic law and human rights: A comparative analysis of Indonesia and Malaysia
The issue of apostasy, especially the annulment of marriage on the grounds of apostasy, is a highly intricate and contentious issue at the intersection of Islamic law and human rights. This article seeks to undertake a critical comparative analysis of the legal frameworks, jurisprudence, and practical applications surrounding this issue within Indonesia and Malaysia—two prominent Muslim-majority countries. Through in-depth insight into the relevant laws and court cases with scholarly literature reviews, this paper examines the different approaches taken by these countries and the deeply entrenched challenges in resolving the principles of Islamic legal doctrine with the main tenets of international human rights. This examination requires treading the line carefully, as religious traditions and individual freedoms clash. An inclusive and balanced dialogue can be done to further the protection of human rights and respect the rich tapestry of religious and cultural perspectives. Indeed, the proper application of Islamic law can be viewed as a fundamental human right since the freedom to practice one’s faith is part and parcel of the core tenets of international human rights standards. It is in a holistic approach—one that respects both Islamic legal principles and universal human rights—that apparent tensions can be resolved and fair treatment can be ensured for everyone. Moreover, the Islamic jurisprudents take the invalidation of marriage by way of apostasy as unanimous since it is a permissible action in case of a defect or some damage in the marriage. However, clear and specific regulations are urgently needed with a view to legal certainty and unity within the community
Developing a mentoring program for shaping students' Islamic character
This study aims to explore the implementation of the mentoring program at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Kutai Kartanegara in shaping students' Islamic character. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research investigates the experiences, perceptions, and practices surrounding the program from the perspectives of students, mentors, and school administrators. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation over three months, from September to November 2024. The data analysis process involved transcribing interviews, organizing field notes, coding recurring themes, and interpreting the findings in relation to the research objectives. The findings reveal that the mentoring program at MAN 2 Kutai Kartanegara has significantly contributed to the development of students' Islamic character, promoting values such as honesty, discipline, respect, and responsibility. Mentors played a key role in fostering a supportive environment, helping students internalize these values through theoretical discussions and practical activities. While students demonstrated improvements in behavior and discipline, challenges such as time constraints, varying levels of religious knowledge, and limited parental involvement were noted as factors that hindered the full potential of the program. Recommendations for enhancing the program include allocating more time for mentoring, addressing the diverse religious backgrounds of students, and increasing parental involvement to reinforce the values taught in the program

Transdermal film-forming hydrogel loaded with nigella sativa and trigonella foenum-graecum extracts for enhanced wound healing
Topical wound treatment using conventional hydrogels is easily lost due to friction so that treatment is less effective, this can inhibit wound healing which causes chronic wounds. Convensional hydrogel containing a combination of N. sativa and T. foenum-graecum alcohol extracts at concentrations of 10% and 5% showed that the preparation was able to healing process of burns in diabetic rats better than single extracts. Compared to conventional preparations, topical Film Forming Hydrogel (FFH) preparation is capable of forming thin sheets some time after applications. A good FFH preparation has strong adhesion and can be adjusted to the shape of the wound so that it is expected to increase the effectiveness of wound healing, including wounds in patients with diabetes mellitus. This study aimed to formulate FFH preparation containing active ingredient combination of Nigella sativa L. and Trigonella foenum-graecum L. extract. The combination of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCh) was used as base, while 96% ethanol and a variation of propylene glycol (PG) content served as solvent and plasticizer, respectively. The experiment was carried out to obtain FFH preparation with desired physical, chemical, and mechanical characteristics, including pH, viscosity, swelling ratio, tensile strength, and elongation. Furthermore, homogeneity of the preparation was assessed through the analysis of Fourier Transform Infrared (FITR) Spectroscopy functional groups, and the stability of physicochemical characters was determined during a 30-day storage period. The results showed that all variations of PG levels of 10%, 16%, and 22% in the test formulations met the physicochemical, and mechanical requirements of FFH preparation. Only F1-Extract meets the minimum standard of 70% for the elongation parameter, and could release the drug gradually. The FFH formulation with active ingredients of N. sativa extract of 10%, T. foenum-graecum of 5%, PG content of 10% (F2-Extract), with a combination of PVA-CMCh at a ratio of 1:1 of 43% each, and 96% ethanol of 4% produced an optimal FFH preparation. Stability test results showed that F2-E and F3-E also had stable pH, viscosity, and swelling ratio at 30 days of storage

Hybridization K-pop aesthetics and Western pop culture in BTS' music video 'Butter' through circuit of culture
This research examines how BTS’s music video Butter represents cultural hybridization between Korean and Western pop cultures through Stuart Hall’s Circuit of Culture theory. Although hybridization in K-Pop has been widely discussed, in depth analysis of visual aesthetics in music videos stays limited. This research addresses the gap by analyzing Butter through five interconnected aspects, regulation, production, representation, consumption, and identity, which collectively construct complex and transnational cultural meanings. The research employs a qualitative method using thematic and semiotic analysis of choreography, costumes, set designs, and other visual symbols. Data validity is strengthened through triangulation by analyzing the official Butter music video, audience comments on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, as well as producer interviews published in Variety. The results show that Butter blends cultural elements such as retro Western fashion with Korean-style choreography, the use of English lyrics to reach an international audience, and the building of BTS’s identity through emotional engagement with fans. This hybridization shows a cultural negotiation process rather than merely a market strategy. The research confirms that BTS successfully integrates Korean cultural elements into a global framework, creating cross-cultural appeal that reinforces their position as international cultural icons
What drives millennial eco-travelers? Investigation of value–norm theory with destination responsibility as moderator
Understanding pro-environmental behavior in sustainable tourism is crucial for aligning marketing with traveler values. This study advances the behavioral discourse by applying the Value–Identity–Personal Norm (VIP) model, examining how destination social responsibility (DSR) moderates millennial travelers’ green behavior in natural tourism. A sample of 202 millennials visiting ten ecotourism sites in Malang Raya was analyzed using SEM-PLS 3.0. Results show that altruistic and biospheric values significantly shape environmental self-identity, which in turn reinforces personal norms. Both green trust and DSR significantly influence pro-environmental behavior, while DSR strengthens the link between personal norms and eco-behavior. These findings reveal how perceived responsibility at the destination level activates moral obligations and trust, ultimately enhancing sustainable actions. Practically, tourism stakeholders must not only protect ecological value but also build visible, credible responsibility efforts—lest they risk eroding the very norms that drive millennial environmental stewardship
The Influence of PAI learning, parental social support, and peer quality on prosocial attitudes of Junior High School students in Malang city
This study investigates the factors influencing prosocial attitudes among junior high school students, focusing on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, parental social support, and peer quality. The research aims to analyze the effects of these variables on students’ prosocial behavior and to examine the moderating role of peer quality. Employing a quantitative correlational design, the study involved 155 randomly selected eighth-grade students from three schools in Malang City (SMPN 12 Malang, SMP Lab UM, and MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Malang). Data were collected via a validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). Results indicate that both PAI learning and parental social support significantly influence prosocial attitudes (p 0.05). These findings suggest that the internalization of PAI values and supportive parenting are primary determinants of prosocial behavior, independent of peer relationship quality. The study concludes that educational and familial environments serve as crucial foundations for fostering prosocial attitudes, with peer interactions providing supplementary support. Practically, schools are encouraged to enhance contextualized and applicative PAI instruction, while parents should strengthen emotional and instrumental support. This research contributes to developing an integrative character education model that bridges school, family, and social environments
