Legal Response to Consumer Protection Risks in The Information Technology Era
In the rapidly evolving digital era, consumers are increasingly exposed to a variety of new threats that were previously unimaginable, ranging from the misuse of personal data to the opaque manipulation of digital behavior through algorithms and persuasive design. These phenomena signal a profound shift in the consumer landscape, where legal certainty and traditional enforcement mechanisms may no longer suffice. This article critically analyzes whether current consumer protection laws, especially within the Indonesian context, are adequately equipped to address the contemporary risks posed by information technology. By employing a normative juridical approach and enriched with comparative legal analysis, the study draws upon key philosophical foundations from thinkers such as Satjipto Rahardjo, Gustav Radbruch, Aristotle, John Rawls, Ulrich Beck, and Nonet & Selznick. These theoretical perspectives are used to frame a vision of a more responsive, just, and forward-looking legal system. Through comparisons with regulatory frameworks in the European Union, the United States (notably California), Singapore, and Malaysia, this paper proposes that Indonesia's legal architecture must evolve not merely to react but to anticipate and shape digital transformations in ways that ensure fairness, transparency, and inclusivity. Such a legal model must be both normatively grounded and practically agile to protect consumers in an increasingly borderless and algorithm-driven marketplace

Social Justice Theory in Indonesia Reviewed from the Philosophy of Law
Social justice theory occupies an important position in forming and implementing legal policies in Indonesia. This concept underscores the importance of equitable distribution of resources, opportunities, and legal protection without discrimination. This article discusses the challenges and implementation of social justice from the perspective of legal philosophy, focusing on the role of Pancasila as the basic ideology of the state. In the Indonesian context, the implementation of social justice often faces obstacles such as corruption, inefficient bureaucracy, and lack of access to the justice system for vulnerable groups. This article uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore potential solutions such as legal reform, bureaucratic digitalization, and strengthening legal aid mechanisms. This research emphasizes that social justice is not only related to economic aspects but also includes fundamental human rights in various fields, including education, health, and general welfare. The goal of social justice as a national ideal can be achieved through inclusive policies and fair implementation of laws

Feasibility Study on the Development of Cabangbungin Regional General Hospital, Bekasi Regency, from Class D to Class C
This study analyzes the feasibility of establishing RSUD Cabangbungin in Bekasi Regency, focusing on investment requirements, funding sources, financial projections, and cash flow analysis. The total investment needed amounts to IDR 108.78 billion, sourced from BLUD for the addition of 12 hospital beds and APBD for the construction of 38 hospital beds. The financial analysis indicates that RSUD Cabangbungin will initially operate at a deficit, with projected losses in the first three years. However, profitability is expected to begin in the fourth year, with a net profit of IDR 1.44 billion, increasing to IDR 4.03 billion by the fifth year. The cash flow analysis demonstrates a positive trend, with cumulative net cash increasing each year, reaching the break-even point within five years. These findings suggest that the RSUD Cabangbungin project is financially feasible and sustainable in the long run. Effective management strategies, pricing adjustments, and operational efficiency are essential to maximizing profitability and ensuring the hospital's role in providing quality healthcare services to the community
Constitutional Parameters of Judicial Activism in the Indonesian Constitutional Court
This study examines the evolving role of Indonesia's Constitutional Court, specifically the tension between its constitutional mandate as a negative legislator and instances of judicial activism approaching positive legislation. Using normative legal research methodology, the research analyzes two landmark decisions, No. 90/PUU-XXI/2023 and No. 62/PUU-XXII/2024, to distinguish between legitimate constitutional review and potential judicial overreach. The findings reveal that while judicial activism can strengthen constitutional checks and balances when properly constrained, it risks undermining democratic legitimacy when extending to the creation of new legal norms. The study proposes a five-parameter framework emphasizing constitutional supremacy, compelling justification, substantive justice conditions, procedural integrity, and institutional restraint to guide judicial interpretation within constitutional boundaries. This framework contributes to resolving the fundamental challenge of balancing judicial independence with democratic accountability in Indonesia's evolving constitutional landscape, ensuring the Court can effectively safeguard constitutional rights without compromising democratic processes
Financial Control Further Improves the Financial Performance of MSMEs Towards Going International
This study examines financial literacy and technology's effect on the financial performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with financial control as a moderating variable. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 364 MSMEs in Malang City, Batu City, and Malang Regency that target international markets from January to March 2025. The findings reveal that financial literacy, financial technology, and financial control significantly influence the financial performance of MSMEs. Notably, financial control strengthens the relationship between financial literacy and financial performance, but it does not moderate the effect of financial technology on financial performance. These results suggest that while both financial literacy and financial technology are critical for MSME growth, their effectiveness is enhanced when supported by robust financial control systems. The study recommends that MSMEs prioritize building strong financial control mechanisms from the early stages of business operations to maximize the benefits of financial literacy and technology adoption. In addition, as digital transaction methods continue to evolve, MSMEs must select and utilize appropriate financial technologies to improve service delivery and competitiveness in international markets. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on MSME development by providing empirical evidence of the moderating role of financial control and emphasizing the strategic alignment between financial literacy, control, and technology to drive financial performance and international readiness
