User Evaluation and Current Challenges in the Implementation of AI Chatbots Supporting Teachers in Special Needs Education
Get PDFThis study explores the use of AI chatbots to support teachers engaged in special needs education, focusing on their effectiveness, challenges, and future prospects. From September 2024 to September 2025, a web-based questionnaire was conducted, yielding 408 valid responses, including teachers, university students, and parents. Results showed high evaluations of accuracy, time-saving, workload reduction, and new insights, with chi-square tests indicating significant trends. Further analysis of the specialized chatbot “Ogenmaru” highlighted its strong utility for developing individualized educational plans. Free-text responses emphasized reduced burden, enhanced reflection, and issues such as foreign language output. Effects of environmental hormones on Rock shells collected from Kumamoto coastal waters（VII） : Suitable period and locations for collection of the Rock shells as teaching materials
Get PDFWe have reported that the practice using rock shells is useful for environmental education in elementary school and lower secondary school. The rock shells used in the practice are necessary to collect during the breeding season when it is easier distinguish between males and females. This is because the ovaries of female rock shells are a bright yellow color during this period. Thus, in the present study, to obtain the information about a suitable period for collection of rock shells inhabiting Kumamoto coastal waters, the maturity of the ovary in female rock shells were examined. Furthermore, whether or not an imposex in female rock shells inhabiting Kumamoto coastal waters was still found, the sexual abnormalities of the rock shells were investigated.departmental bulletin pape
