Quantifying Manuscript Changes Associated with Peer Review: A Preregistered, Multi-Study Program

    No full text
This project investigates how peer review is associated with observable changes in scientific manuscripts by comparing preprint versions with their corresponding peer-reviewed published versions. The project is preregistered and observational. It does not assume that peer review causally improves scientific quality. Instead, it quantifies changes across multiple predefined dimensions (e.g., statistical reporting, transparency indicators, and methodological clarity) and examines how these changes vary by contextual factors such as discipline and journal practices. All hypotheses, variables, inclusion criteria, and analysis plans are specified prior to data access to ensure transparency and reproducibility

Infinitesimal, Degeneration, and Global Detection of Primitive (2, 2)–Classes on Complete Intersections of Two Quadrics

    No full text
This work develops a unified three-phase detection framework for primitive (2,2)-Hodge classes on smooth complete intersections of two quadrics. The approach proceeds from infinitesimal Hodge-theoretic invariants of normal functions, through degeneration and limiting mixed Hodge structures, to global detection of nontriviality. The main contribution is a closed detection mechanism showing that nonvanishing infinitesimal data, when persistent under degeneration, forces global nontriviality of the underlying Hodge class. Computational verification using SageMath is included to confirm that the algebraic models employed satisfy the expected structural constraints and do not introduce spurious artifacts

This project aims to update the questionnaire modules originally developed by the EORTC Quality of Life Group for measuring health-related quality of life in patients with oesophageal cancer

    A Purpose-Centered Dual-Structure Model of Organizational Identity

    No full text
This paper proposes a conceptual model that redefines PMVV (Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values) as a dual structure of organizational identity. The model positions Purpose at the core, with Values as the basis for judgment, Mission as organizational activity, and Vision as the realized future state of society. This document serves as the first public record of the framework. It focuses on conceptual structure rather than empirical analysis or practical implementation. All rights are reserved by the author

Exploring The Impact of Climate Change on Eco-Anxiety, PTSD, and Stress in Elderly - a Scoping Review

    No full text
Climate change poses increasing risks to mental health, yet its psychological impacts across the lifespan remain unevenly studied. Older adults represent a particularly relevant population in this context due to age-related vulnerabilities, cumulative exposure to environmental stressors, and differential access to psychological and social resources. While research has increasingly examined climate-related mental health outcomes such as anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depressive symptoms, the extent to which these outcomes have been studied specifically among older adults remains unclear. Moreover, conceptualisations and measurement approaches vary widely across disciplines, limiting comparability and synthesis of findings. The purpose of this scoping review is to systematically map the existing scientific literature on the relationship between climate change and mental health outcomes in older adults, with a particular focus on stress-related outcomes and post-traumatic stress disorder. By identifying how these outcomes are defined, measured, and studied, the review aims to provide an overview of the scope, nature, and methodological characteristics of the existing evidence base. Rather than evaluating intervention effectiveness or estimating effect sizes, this review seeks to clarify how research in this field has developed, which populations and exposures have been studied, and where conceptual or empirical gaps remain. This review is needed because older adults are often underrepresented or aggregated within broader adult samples in climate–mental health research, potentially obscuring age-specific vulnerabilities and protective factors. Additionally, existing reviews tend to focus on general populations, single climate events, or specific mental health outcomes, without systematically addressing older adults as a distinct group. By synthesising evidence across disciplines and study designs, this scoping review contributes to a more structured understanding of how climate-related mental health outcomes in older adults are currently conceptualised and investigated. Expected outcomes of the review include a descriptive mapping of study designs, populations, mental health outcomes, and measurement instruments used in the literature, as well as an identification of key research gaps and methodological challenges. These findings are intended to inform future research directions and support the development of more targeted, age-sensitive approaches to studying and addressing the mental health impacts of climate change
