The quality of public services to the level of satisfaction
This research has been carried out in the Alas District Office, Sumbawa Regency aims to determine the quality of public services to the level of community satisfaction, supporting factors, and obstacles to public services at the Alas District Office. The research method used, among others, is to determine a sample of 60 respondents (20.00%) from approximately 300 people who received public services in the last 1 year (2019) at the Alas District Office, with data collection instruments using a questionnaire and to complete the data also uses interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, namely in addition to the quantitative analysis of line percentages from the questionnaire results, also using qualitative analysis for the data from the interview results. The results of the research achieved are related to the level of community satisfaction from each variable, namely the Tangible Variable, the quality of public services to the level of community satisfaction in the Alas District Office reaching 68.33% feeling satisfied and very satisfied, then for the Reliability variable reaching 70.00% feeling satisfied and very satisfied, the Responsiveness variable reached 75.00% felt satisfied and very satisfied, the Assurance variable reached 80.00% felt satisfied
The differences of audit quality on the regulation of audit tenure and auditor rotation in Indonesia
This study examines the differences in audit quality on the regulation of audit tenure and auditor rotation in Indonesia. In Indonesia, there have been several audit-related scandals that occurred after the implementation of regulations on the audit tenure limitation and auditor rotation. The last regulation that applies to date is the Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia No. 20/2015 about Public Accountant Practices Chapter V regarding the Limitation of Audit Services in Article 11 that the provision of audit services on a historical financial statement on an entity by a Public Accountant is limited to a maximum of five consecutive financial years. These analyses use discretionary accruals as audit-quality proxies. In this study, the output of audit quality is measured, namely the earnings quality. This research was conducted on all non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange start from 2012 to 2017, using the purposive sampling method obtained 554 research samples. Hypothesis analyses in this study use different test analysis. Specifically, there is a significant difference in the audit quality in the first year of the tenure and the last year of the tenure. We also find significant differences in audit quality before and after auditor rotation
Government communication patterns in Ambon city budget policy
The purpose of this research was to understand the pattern of government communication in budget planning in Ambon City. The formal government communication pattern is about the planning mechanism between the executive and legislative bodies, while the informal form of communication is bargaining, negotiating, and lobbying for community interests through institutional communication channels. We have chosen a qualitative method with a case study approach to government communication patterns in planning local budgets in Ambon City. The results we find that in the government communication model in regional budget planning; There were two forms of informal and formal communication channels. The formulation of the normal channel is the dynamics of conflict, a compromise that occurs in the executive and legislative branches at the KUA-PPAS stage. The form of informal channels was government communication through matching work programs and the results of the recess in each legislative electoral district, and the agreement stated at the KUA-PPAS stage and the views of the factions in the legislative body
Hanoman's 2D animated character in ramayana wayang story
Research in art creation is an effort to preserve traditional arts, especially wayang kulit in the form of character development of the Hanoman character in the Ramayana story through animated 2D media which aims to introduce traditional skills among the younger generation in Surakarta. This research method of art creation uses a qualitative descriptive approach through data sources, including Ramayana puppet shows, literature studies, and competent speakers in the field of puppetry and animation. The stages of analysis from various sources of results from information from both literature reviews and interviews were carried out using an interactive model, where each component of the research includes the stages of data collection, data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Test the validity of the data using data triangulation techniques, namely triangulation of data sources and triangulation of theories. The locations of designing 2D animated Hanoman characters go through several processes, namely: the Envisioning Phase, the Planning Phase, the Design/Design Stage, the Stabilizing Phase, and the Deploying Phase. The Hanoman character in the Ramayana wayang story collaborates with 2D animation technology as an alternative to introducing wayang characters and educational media that are suitable for the younger generation segmentation
Pedagogical-hermeneutic approach to the interpretation of the competence phenomenon in modern research
The spread of a competency-based approach in modern education, its active implementation in the educational process, made the phenomenon of competency a key one when creating regulatory documents for educational institutions at all levels. As a result, competencies became the subject of research in various sciences. About five hundred dissertations on the phenomenon of skill were published in Russia. The emergence of new areas of training and specialties necessitated the justification of new competencies and, thus, contributed to the emergence of new scientific research. The trend created the conditions for summing up and systematizing some results. The research work examines the phenomenon of competency on the scale of different branches of scientific knowledge. The authors of the current research interpret the phenomenon in the context of pedagogical hermeneutics and such aspects as the target audience, the form of competency, its content, and actualization. The scholars tried to describe the quality of the educational process for the formation and development of competencies, and they gave an attempt to propose some approaches classifying the diversity of competency types
Pedagogical activity formation in Russian students training
The article reviewed some aspects of research on pedagogical activity formation in Russian students' training. For this purpose, the Humanitarian School within the Philological Department of Biysk Pedagogical State University named after V. M. Shukshin, was organized. The identified educational effects showed the event potential of the Humanitarian School. Based on the empirical analysis, the definition of “educational event” was formed. Specific aspects of the pedagogical activity, on which educational event had to influence, were identified as subjectness, sense-value attitudes, the meaning of pedagogical activity, personal action, and self-reflection over pedagogical activity. Conditions for pedagogical activity formation in student training were specified: involvement in planning, initiation by the teacher of their actions, selection of participation position inactivity, and self-reflection over their pedagogical activity. The article proved the assumption that educational events improve the quality of student training for pedagogical activity
The bureaucratic political relation model in perception of officers public: A study on bima city government
The relationship between politics and bureaucracy is significant to observe because this concerns the interests of policymakers and stakeholders related to the politics of local government policies. In this regard, this study aims to describe the Political Relations Model Bureaucracy in the Perception of Public Officials (A Study at the Bima City Government). The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the Relationship Model Bureaucratic Politics in the Perception of Public Officials (A Study at the Bima City Government) have interrelated and mutually supportive relationships both in formulating, implement and evaluate policies both political and administration towards the implementation of the public bureaucracy in the Bima City Government. Perception public officials concerning political intervention in carrying out activities bureaucracy are reflected in the process of development, administration, and technique as well as transfer and high employee rotation, institutional restructuring of the Bima City government bureaucracy as well The formulation of the Kota Bima Regional Financial Budgeting always occurs for political intervention interests of both public officials and career officials in running the wheel the government in the city of Bima
Fruitful or empty talks: Analyzing political talk shows before the national election of Bangladesh
Talk shows especially political talk shows are very popular in Bangladesh. Just before the national election of 2018, political talk shows were undoubtedly important in shaping public opinion and establishing political discourses. This research took that time period into consideration to understand the role talk show has played in that extremely intimidating political environment. The research aims to identify the commodifying nature of Bangladeshi television talk shows and explores the political talk shows of that time to understand the way talk shows dealt with politics. For this, the research utilizes a qualitative method employing a textual analysis of the talk shows. The research found political talk shows less concerned about constructive discussions and more concerned about lucrative presentations and sponsor demands. Arguments are appreciated more than reaching an agreement. This research concludes finding politics extremely commodified through political talk shows and recommended seeking solutions rather than just addressing problems
Educational environment influence on the pre-school children’s social cognition development
The impact of the type of educational environment showed an influence on the social cognition of pre-school children. An essential characteristic of social maturity was meta-cognitive understanding, in which children were capable of social thinking and accepting the opinion and the position of others and demonstrating pro-social actions. The research examined three types of educational environments as “open,” “closed,” and “mixed.” Groups of children of different types of the educational environment were determined by the presence or absence of a significant criterion - a unique communicative space organized by the teacher - open or closed. It revealed the results of twenty-five children who studied in three types of educational environments using the three different techniques like “Pictures,” “Incomplete stories,” and “Clarity.” It showed significant differences in the data on indicators of children's social cognition: semantic perception of a problem situation - perceptual aspect; proposed actions reflecting a strategy for resolving a problem situation - the behavioral aspect, and child's assessment of character behavior is an evaluation aspect. The research also displayed that the most effective type was an "open educational environment" for developing the social cognition of children
Brand credibility and marketing performance in the Nigerian brewery industry
Brand credibility is the relevant symbols which make firms to be honest about their products and services and to examine complaints. The general objective of the study is to examine the effect of brand credibility on marketing performance in the Nigerian Brewery Industry. The study engaged the cross-sectional survey research design method and stratified random sampling technique. A sample size of 205 employees of the selected firms was randomly selected from the total population of 442. A structured questionnaire was used to obtain vital data from the respondents. In this study, the statistical techniques that were used include descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. Findings should that brand trust, perceived product quality and brand image have a significant positive relationship with marketing performance. The study, therefore, concluded that brand credibility has a positive effect on marketing performance in the Nigerian Brewery Industry. The study recommended that companies should develop long-lasting brand credibility to influence the intentions of consumers. And it can be established by giving expertise, trustworthiness and attractiveness to consumers
