    Procurement of goods and services based on local wisdom: an implementation study

    Landih Village is located in Bangli Subdistrict, Bangli Regency whose construction cannot be separated from Hinduism existence with its spiritual values. It was to grow and develop into the local wisdom values carried out in the wisdom area in desa pakraman. The procurement of goods/services in the village is a development activity in the context of realizing budget planning into an output themselves. Their implementation is related to local wisdom values. The procurement generally is carried out for reasons and implications that affect juridical, technical, economic, cultural, and religious aspects. It is also implemented as a development implementation form through Landih Village budget to produce goods/services output. They have been determined in the procurement plan itself beforehand. There are several factual findings the study results, namely the uniqueness of community participation with a representative system, the reduced burden of society on their social obligations. Although the procurement is not encouraging the development of potential local resources. It has not been able to realize an increase in community capacity in the business sector and encourage earning new business actors in the village. The procurement activity has been able to encourage an increase in the socio-cultural activities of indigenous communities

    The understanding of tourist preferences toward selection of wet-based tourism destination

    The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the dominant factors that determine the purpose of tourist visits to the Siring Tendean Floating Market and the Muara Kuin Floating Market in Banjarmasin City; and (2) knowing the preferences of tourists on the choice of visiting the Floating Market in South Kalimantan. To obtain the required data, the sample of this study as many as 30 people who meet the criteria who have visited three floating markets in South Kalimantan have been sampled. Then the data collected is processed using Analytical Hierarchy Process. The results show that service, infrastructure, Tourism attraction, and distance are factors or criteria that can affect the interest of tourists who are the people of South Kalimantan to visit Siring Tendean Floating Market, Lok Baintan Floating Market and Muara Kuin Floating Market, with a reference order of 44% for mileage, 29% for ODTW, 18% for infrastructure and 9% for services. From these factors, the preference of tourists to visit the Siring Tendean Floating Market is 59%, Lok Baintan Floating Market 26% and Muara Kuin Floating Market 11%

    How dangerous the Indonesian recession due to COVID-19 pandemic: review policy and strategy to recovery

    This paper aimed to examine the severity of the recession experienced by Indonesia during the COVID-19 outbreak that has hit Indonesia, which has been going on for almost a year. For the discussion to be more focused, this study focuses on the government's policy and strategy efforts that have been implemented to overcome this crisis. To achieve the target of this study, we first collected preliminary reading material by reviewing articles about recession due to pandemics to obtain sufficient information related to the study plan. After the opening section is over, we next provide an overview of how we can convey an understanding of the recession and the reasons behind it. We then proceed to the middle of the study to conclude what findings are relevant. Before completing the results, we confirm that the findings of this study are valid and reliable. Finally, the findings can be summarized as follows: Recession has hit the national economy so that the government has adopted a policy of allocating fresh funds as a stimulus to the most affected residents. Another strategy from the government is to work with outside parties on systems to anticipate Covid-19 and face the risk of a domestic recession

    Principal leadership, work spirit, supervision, cultural quality with performance of Hindu vocational school teachers

    This study aims to obtain an overview of the relationship between the principal's leadership, work spirit, supervision, quality culture and the performance of Hindu Vocational School teachers in Badung Regency. For this purpose data were collected from 56 Hindu teachers at Badung Regency Vocational School using a questionnaire. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using SEM AMOS 24.0. Based on the results of data processing, it can be seen that there are only three exogenous variables that have a significant positive relationship with endogenous variables, namely the relationship between Supervision of Work Morale, the relationship of Work Morale with Quality Culture, and the relationship between Quality Culture and Teacher Performance. Supervision can improve Teacher Performance only by enhancing morale and quality culture

    This study is to determine the effect of Katipu violin poetry education on family knowledge about preventing dengue in Raba Dompu, Bima City. Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and spread by mosquitoes, especially the Aedes aegypti mosquito species. Katipu Violin is a fusion of Violin, Katipu (Ketipung), Gambo (Gambus) music, Bass Guitar, Daf and Rawa Mbojo. The method used was a Quasi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test with control group design. The number of Samples 66 Respondents. Data collection tool in the form of a questionnaire to determine respondents' knowledge about the prevention of dengue hemorrhagic fever. The results were P-value of 0.001 was obtained with a value of ? <0.005 indicating there was a significant difference between before and after the educational treatment of Katipu violin poetry. The Conclusion is an influence of Ketipu Violin Poetry Education on Family Knowledge about Prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Raba Dompu Village, Bima City

    Internet technologies in foreign language learning

    The article dealt with the problem of Internet technology implementation in the process of foreign language learning. The authors considered the term “technology” in the context of language education and defined Internet technologies as techniques, methods, and ways of introducing Internet services and Internet materials into the learning process. The paper revealed didactic properties and functions of Internet technologies, highlighting a web quest as the most appropriate for organizing students’ group research. The authors presented methods of encouraging students’ cognitive activity using a web quest technology and evaluation criteria for Internet service selection to provide tools necessary for project participants' collaboration and teacher monitoring. Authenticity and volume of Internet material need strict assessment criteria of which were provided in the paper

    In this investigation the evaluation of processes was identified as a strategy of continuous improvement in teachers of an educational institution in the province of Manabí. The acquisition of knowledge must be in constant renewal for a better understanding of the teaching-learning process. That is why the teacher has to be evaluated to identify their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to teaching, contributing to continuous improvement in the educational community. The study was of an exploratory type with a qualitative-quantitative approach along with the analytical-synthetic method, since through observation and the survey statistics were obtained that served to analyze and interpret the results. It was obtained that the evaluation of processes values ??the educational activities with which the teacher works in the classroom and allows the updating and improvement of educational instruction favoring the link between teacher-student, especially in the teaching and learning process

    Impact of social networks on student academic performance

    A theoretical study on the impact of social networks on adolescents and their inappropriate use is presented. The objective is to determine its impact on academic performance in the students of the "Rocafuerte" educational unit. An exploratory type of investigation was carried out, with a qualitative-quantitative approach, using scientific, analytical, and synthetic methods. 78 third-year students of the Unified General Baccalaureate were selected. It was obtained as a result, that students spend between 5 and 6 hours surfing the Internet, especially in social networks, all this for entertainment purposes, leaving aside their academic tasks, few use it in the teaching-learning process affecting academic performance, impacting on his life, in all areas, thus becoming a person dependent on this tool; Also, there is a certain dependence on electronic devices, neglecting their daily activities, their studies, often generating isolation with the people around them. The use of social networks as a tool in the educational field, with supervision, could give good results
