    The effect of stress and job satisfaction on organizational commitment secretariat of Banyuasin Regency board

    This study aimed to determine job stress and job satisfaction on organizational commitment at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of Banyuasin Regency. The population is all Civil Servants (CS) and temporary employees in 2020 as many as 220 employees. The sampling technique is random sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis results show that work stress has a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Perceived work stress shows that some employees do not experience too much work stress, which impacts organizational commitment. To providing job satisfaction to employees, it is hoped that adjustments can be made to the salaries given to employees, especially non-CS employees

    This study aims to design in terms of ergonomics, the display design of the Radyapustaka Museum collection as part of an effort to revitalize the museum's existence, covering several aspects of spatial planning, circulation patterns, elements of space, aspects of space fulfillment, including display systems and museum collection objects, layout safety factors, and aesthetic features that make up the atmosphere of a room. Radya Pustaka Museum was built on October 28, 1890, by Kanjeng Adipati Sosrodiningrat IV, Pepatih Dalem during the reign of Paku Buwono IX and Paku Buwono X, where there are collections of ancient objects that have high artistic and historical value. Methods of data collection through observation, literature study, interviews, and documentation of artifacts, literature, and informants. The data analysis technique uses data collection stages, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. This study uses a design thinking method that is tailored to the conditions and needs, namely: discovery, interpretation, ideation, experimentation, evolution, and implementation. The results of applied research are in the form of museum collection display designs that can increase safety and visibility for visitors and have the main objective of increasing the number of tourists

    Local government's response to the recovery of the tourism sector after the COVID-19 pandemic : case study in Singkawang City, Indonesia

The research method is descriptive and qualitative, specifically related to the COVID-19 impact mitigation strategy and Singkawang tourism policies. The data is then analyzed using domain data analysis techniques as a researcher's effort to get a general and comprehensive (holistic) picture of the object under study. The findings in this study are 1) a connected tourism COVID-19 impact mitigation policy strategy from the national to local levels in Singkawang in the form of directives, regulations, COVID-19 mitigation programs, and stimulus for buy soma 350 mg economic recovery in the tourism sector; and 2) there are no visible creative efforts based on health protocols in organizing tourism resources, methods, and unit synergies to restore tourism, interpretation of social media-based policies regarding tourist visits has not been measured, and strategies have not been implemented to meet the opportunities for pandemic trend tourism types with models alternative tourism according to health protocols

    Gendered access to indirect benefits from natural gas extraction in Kilwa District, Tanzania

    Natural gas extraction contributes substantially to the economy of many countries around the world were natural gas resource is found. Despite its potential benefits, it is not known to what extent the benefits are equally enjoyed by both men and women in the respective host communities. The existing studies focus more on benefit-sharing at the national level and lack gender analysis. Using a cross-sectional design, a study was conducted to establish gendered access to indirect benefits from natural gas extraction. Quantitative data were collected from 373 households and qualitative data through focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and participant observation Findings revealed that about 53% of community members categorized access to indirect benefits to be of high level. The indirect benefits largely cut across investments and support in education, health, water, and employment opportunities. The study concludes that, while investment by Extractive Companies (ECs) has managed to improve health services the shortage of technical staff has remained unsolved. Likewise, while various benefits revealed to exist in education the chronic problem on girls drops out of school remains to be a challenge

    Habitus and capital: strategy for surviving traditional pottery craftsmen Pejaten Village in Bali

    This research aims to analyze the reasons and their practices persist in producing traditional pottery. It was used the paradigm of thinking critically by implementing Geneology methodology as an effort to search for the relations of knowledge and power hidden behind their decisions, persist in the pottery craft tradition. This was analyzed using the generative structural theory of Pierre Bourdieu and the power-knowledge relation of Michel Foucault. The results of the study show that the survival of traditional pottery craftsmen in the Pejaten Village because they have internalized habitus that has been passed down from generation to generation and becomes a cultural capital in the form of knowledge, in making pottery objects. They can convert this cultural capital into other forms of capital. Their survival practices are also influenced by traditional figures (senior craftsmen) through the discourse making traditional pottery should not be abandoned as an effort to preserve ancestral cultural heritage. The practice of survival of the crafters not only preserves traditional culture but there is hidden knowledge behind the practice

    Currently, Russian professors were facing crucial demands because of a new, urgent condition to pursue their work. Until recently, these professors were used to working within familiar surroundings and sharing knowledge with students of traditional classes, but now, they are expected to move beyond that and function on a different level, which demands special skills and methods of working in an inclusive class. The purpose of this article was to throw light on the various aspects of inclusion that was supposed to be essential for the further development of inclusive education in Russia. The scientific issues in this field get more and more support and interest in almost all countries around the world. The research presented some theoretical and practical workouts of Russian professors within inclusive classes. The data were collected, analyzed, and overflowed into conclusions that highlight the idea of possible and fruitful coeducation of students with disabilities in a typical education process. However, as the survey showed, it is not an easy task, and the variety of issues should be taken into consideration
