The UGC instructed all higher education institutions to go in for digital transactions. All universities authorities are instructed to take measures to stop cash transactions at the campuses. UGC asked to organize “vittiya saksharta Abhiyan” campaign in the campuses to create awareness among students. Criminal law policy on land functions impacting climate change in Indonesian national law perspective
The philosophy of functional transfer of land from wetlands, paddy fields, watersheds, protected forests, coastal and lake reclamation into residential areas in a national perspective, is one of the causes of climate change today. Initially, these places provide a cool, fresh, and clean air for humans being and the environment, but with the transition of the functions of these lands, an unexpected impact arises from the emergence of pollution, climate change that led to the occurrence of global warming. Philosophically, the transition of land functions is prohibited because it affects the human life. Sociologically, human actions that are deliberately destructive to the environment by transforming agrarian lands into residential areas, factories, hotels, and large malls so that previously productive land, turning into polluted lands, must be illegal due to land misuse as opposed to the public interest. Thus, juridical, a regulation that will be highlighted from the criminal law aspects both in the case of criminal acts, criminal liability, and the formulation of the punishment system against any person or legal body proven to commit criminal acts in the case of abuse of land functions, resulting in the change Climate that threatens the safety of mankind. This paper uses a normative juridical approach method with some analysis in the form of legal theories related to the writing of this journal
Sentence analysis in broca’s aphasia
This study tries to explore the sentences used by a person with Broca’s Aphasia in terms of type and syntactical structure. The goal of this study is to find and describe several important elements that have been said above. Based upon this, this study is a field research using descriptive qualitative research design. By this consideration, the data collection method used in this study is the participatory observation method combined with the Record and Report Technique and the Unstructured Interview Technique. In analyzing data, this study employed Intralingual Matching Method as a data analysis method accompanied by the informal and formal method as the method of data presentation. Thus, the findings resulted from this study are (1) 111 declarative clauses, (2) 32 interrogative clauses, and (3) 5 imperative clauses. Meanwhile, in terms of syntactical structure, there are only 11 sentence patterns that can be produced, namely S-K, K-S, P-K, S-P, P-O, K-P, S-P-K, K-S-P, P-S-K, K-O, K-P-O, and K-P-S
The marketing mix affect on the consumer buying decision (case study of sausage products at PT. Aroma Denpasar)
The more intense competition within the similar business as well as happened in the business of making sausages, especially in Denpasar city. PT. Aroma was one of the companies in Denpasar that produces sausages, corned beef, and nuggets. In an effort to attract consumers to buy sausages, companies pay attention to product quality, price, and promotion. The attitude of each consumer varies before buying and in buying products. Consumer considerations in buying the products that need to be considered by marketers, so that products that are marketed can be accepted and would be bought by the consumers. The linear regression line equation: Y = 0.1920 + 0.2145 X1 + 0.2592 X2 + 0.3828 X3 explains that there was a simultaneous positive influence between product quality, price, and promotion on the buying decision of sausage. The result of t-test of regression coefficient obtained t1-count was 3,3628, t2-count was 3,9879 and t3-count was 6,2641 bigger than t-table equal to 1,980 was in rejection region Ho, hence Ho rejected or Hi accepted. It meant it was true, that there was a positive influence simultaneously between the marketing mix and the consumer buying decision
Writing English language test items as a learning device: a principle of habit formation rules
The present study aims to uncover how valid and reliable the multiple-choice test items as learning device are and their effect on permanent language habit formation. In this pretest-posttest one group pre-experiment study, we observed and analyzed the English test constructed by junior high school teachers. The Pretest on constructing the test items was administered to fifteen English teachers and some weaknesses were revealed. These can be seen from the total score of 855 and the mean score was 57.00. Treatment was given by ensuring them the rules of writing the test based on a principle of habit formation. The competence of teachers in constructing appropriate test items increased to higher quality indicated by scores of 79.33. It means the treatment has significantly influenced the ability of English teachers in constructing appropriate tests. The tests were tried out to 40 students of Junior High School and the result showed that 63 test items were valid and 37 was invalid. The fifty-valid test was administered to the students of different Junior High School and the result showed that the mean score was 72.53. 21 students from 40 students passed the minimum rank and 19 students still needed improving. The highest score was 95 and the lowest one was 26. The medium was 78 and the mode was 53. After measuring the reliability level, the standard deviation ranged 0.50 – 1.00, meaning that the test was appropriate to be applied as measuring device. The valid test was then reconstructed to be raw material of software module. 
Regulatory framework for renewable energy sources in Ecuador case study province of Manabi
The purpose of the research is to expose the nature that, in matters of law and social policy, justifies promoting the elaboration and adoption of a regulatory framework that favors the use of renewable energy sources, for the generation of electricity through case analysis in the Province of Manabí. For the accomplishment of the research study has taken into account a brief theoretical analysis on the fundamentals of the regulatory doctrine, where it exposes the conceptual framework of the law and its necessity for the good development of the social relations that derive from the use of the Renewable sources of energy. A study was carried out of the specific regulatory work carried out at the international level, in order to promote the adequate use of renewable energies, as well as a national study presenting an initial vision for the study and establishment of a specific regulatory framework for the case study of the province of Manabí, as well as a group of policies and support measures that could be adopted to promote the integrated use of renewable energy sources and their contribution to the national energy matrix
Developing communicative English language tests for tourism vocational high school students
The present study aimed at developing communicative language tests for vocational high school students. A Research and Development design was employed in this study with the primary target was to develop communicative English language tests. The main procedures in the development of the test include: (1) identifying objectives, (2) developing the test specification, (3) developing the communicative tests, (4) analyzing the results of the preliminary tryout of the communicative tests drafts, (5) revising the communicative test drafts, (6) trying out the communicative test drafts, (7) analyzing the results of the tryout of the communicative tests, (8) revising the communicative test drafts. Questionnaires and observation blanks sheet was used to gather comments, opinions, and criticisms on the draft of communicative tests from a number of selected experts. The analysis of the communicative tests tryout was done to ensure the validity, reliability, and practicality of the tests
Opposition of community citizenship against the policy of the village's leader
The process of industrialization, reformation, and globalization has led to the changes in people's lives such as livelihoods, lifestyle, and also the character of the Balinese themselves. Livelihoods that initially agriculture shifted to the tourism industry, productive lifestyles became consumptive and the way people's lives changed from collectivism to individualism and materialism. Changes of Balinese characters from previous hospitality and courteous, today tend to be violent and conflicted. Traditional institutions such as Desa Adat are social-religious and proud because they are capable of functioning to protect their citizens. However, Adat Village, which is a respected institution today, is often the arena of conflict to fight for various interests, so that quiet and peaceful life is no longer the case. The process of change and the emergence of conflicts in the development of indigenous villages in Bali often occurs in the areas of Adat Perasi Village. In the field of livelihood, Perasi traditional villagers who originally lived from agriculture and fishermen, have now changed because of a shift in the livelihoods of life. Its citizens are no longer just depend on agriculture and fishing, but rather have been leading to services especially the tourism industry. This shift must have caused a change in the view of people's lives from the original emphasis on togetherness because the collectivity of citizens turn into commercialism (materialism) that leads to individuality
Women education in rural India
In India, the status of the girl child has been a subject of much discussion, controversy, and debate. From the start, girl children are seen as burdens rather than blessings, bearers of exorbitant dowries, who will eventually move into the homes of their husbands. There are some overwhelming cultural and economic reasons why female children are not receiving the same medical, emotional, and educational attention as their male counterparts. The result is a low literacy rate among women in rural areas. There has been an increasing proportion of women, who are literate in just 20 years. Despite the improvements, there continues to be a large gap between the educational levels of men and women in rural India. The present study is focused on status, causes, and recommendations for rural women education
Teacher’s perception on the implementation of the assessment process in 2013 curriculum
This study aims to describe the teachers’ perception on the implementation of the assessment process in 2013 curriculum. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of the research are the Elementary school principals and elementary school teachers in Denpasar. Research data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation which were analyzed descriptively by using the interactive technique. The interactive analysis was done by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of data analysis showed that the teachers prepared the lesson plans prior to implementing the teaching and learning processes in the classroom. The lesson plans consist of the rubric of attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and social assessment. The attitude competence assessment consists of spiritual and social attitudes. The assessment of the attitude competence is done by doing observation, self-assessment, peer assessment, and teacher's journal. The assessment of knowledge competence was done by administrating written test, oral test, and also written an assignment. The students’ competencies were assessed by conducting performance assessment. The results of the assessment were written descriptively on the students’ learning report by describing the student's ability to detail. Most teachers stated that the assessment in 2013 curriculum is quite good because it provides an attitude assessment, including the aspect of the spiritual and social, knowledge aspects, and skills aspects. There were some obstacles found by teachers in conducting the assessment, such as, limited time that teachers have in observing students' social attitudes and writing the results of the assessment that require a lot of time to describe the students' abilities
