Income smoothing and cost of capital
This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effects of income smoothing on the cost of capital. Four additional control variables are used, namely information risk, company size, institutional ownership, and leverage. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018, based on purposive sampling technique, the samples used in this study were 213 companies. Test results show that (1) income smoothing has a negative effect on the cost of capital, (2) Information risk, company size, and institutional ownership have no influence on the relationship between income smoothing and the cost of capital, (3) leverage affects the relationship between income smoothing and the cost of capital
Investment, absorbed labor, infrastructure and exports on the GDP of Kotabaru district from special economic zone
The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the current conditions of investment, labor, and exports in contributing to the value of GRDP of Kotabaru Regency. This research was also expected to increase understanding to local governments, developers, and community institutions with an interest in developing a Special Economic Zone in Kotabaru Regency. Thus this research can become a reference in preparing a strategic plan for the development of special economics. For data collection, we obtained data at the service center and statistics in Kotabaru Regency. Then followed by multiple linear regression analysis that was carried out to see the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable through the use of E-views software for regression analysis. The results of this analysis indicate that investment has a significant effect and probability has a positive effect on the GRDP of Kotabaru Regency, while labor, infrastructure, and exports do not have a significant effect on the GRDP of the Special Economic Zone of Kotabaru Regency
Price perception and product quality on gas purchasing decisions in PT. Pertamina EP asset 2
This research was conducted aimed to determine the effect of price perception and product quality on purchasing decisions at PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2. The population in this study are all companies that are consumers who purchase gas at PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2 in 2019 as many as 17 companies. The sample used in this study were 102 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis showed that price perception had a positive and significant effect on gas purchasing decisions at PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on gas purchasing decisions at PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2. By looking at competitors, it is better to immediately improve gas quality. So it has more appeal for consumers so far and prospective customers to continue to make gas purchases from PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2. With good cooperation between PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2 with consumers who are companies that have done so far, it is necessary to increase the quality of the gas produced to give a sense of wanting to make gas purchases
Hospital E-prescribing implementation in reducing medication error
The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze hospital e-prescribing implementation in reducing medication errors. The hospital information system was an information system that was used for hospitals wherein this information system allows data flow from a hospital can be done electronically. The service to patients can be done more quickly, accurately, and transparently which in the end could provide satisfaction to patients. Medication errors often occurred in hospitals. One of the causes was prescription errors or prescribing errors. The wrong medical decision had an impact on the safety and quality of the patient’s health. Therefore, the efforts were needed to prevent and reduce errors by e-prescribing. This study used a qualitative approach in which the research conducted was descriptive. That was how the implementation of e-prescribing in RSUP Sanglah Denpasar in reducing medication error. The research results obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation were the implementation of e-prescribing in Sanglah Hospital going well by involving interviews with management, IT, pharmacists, doctors, and nurses. However, the obstacle faced was the internet network was sometimes not strong and the number of devices a computer was lacking. It can interfere with the process of drug service
Electronic attendance and allowance performance effect towards discipline and work motivation in ministry of religion regional office
This study aims to find out empirically the effect of Electronic Attendance and Performance Allowance on Discipline and Motivation of Civil Servant (ASN) Work in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Sumatra Province (Case Study of the Administrative Office Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of West Sumatra Province). While the dependent variable is discipline and work motivation. The research sample was ASN in the Administration Section of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, West Sumatra. Samples were taken with total sampling. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 68 ASN people in the Administration Section of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion, West Sumatra Province. The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis, by testing the statistical test hypothesis t. The results of this study indicate a significant effect of the application of electronic attendance both to discipline and work motivation, as well as performance allowances have a significant influence on the discipline and motivation of ASN work, but the effect of electronic attendance is greater than the effect of performance benefits
Effect of entrepreneurial roles on performance of smes: the nigeria human resource perspective
This study was designed to look at Effect of Entrepreneurial Roles on Performance of SMEs.The Nigeria Perspective. Two research questions were raised to guide the study while two null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study adopted the descriptive survey design. A sample of 27 out of 127 firms was picked in Delta State which was used for the study. Data was collected for the study through the administration of validated questionnaire on the respondents. T-test and mean deviation was used. The mean statistics was used to answer the research questions. The findings of the study revealed that organisations are not doing badly. Empowerment and Autonomy of should be encouraged for staff and organisations. Also proactiveness in the market that will make the organizations market players. The implications of the findings have been discussed and conclusion drawn. Relevant recommendations were made towards the improvement female participation and adequate entrepreneurial orientation towards developing the human resource of the organization under the Nigerian perspective

A Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is used to assess an organization's training needs. The root of the TNA is the gap analysis. This is an assessment of the gap between the KSA components that the people in the organization currently possess and the KSA that they require to meet the organization's objectives. The training needs assessment is best conducted up front before training solutions are budgeted, designed and delivered. Professional policing promotes the rule of law and can support economic growth and improve the lives of the poor by protecting them from crime. The police personnel has a vital role in a parliamentary democracy. The society perceives them as custodians of law and order and providing safety and security to all. This essentially involves continuous police-public interface. In India, the police are often perceived as corrupt, ineffective and brutal, stemming from a plethora of systemic, organizational and behavioral challenges. Officers themselves report feeling unsatisfied, overworked and neglected by the system. The recommendations of the National Police Commission (1977-81) have suggested several measures to improve the standard of policing; however, seldom have they been implemented by successive governments. Implementation strategies for homework sent
Evaluation strategies are not properly implemented at different levels of education. The objective of this research was to determine the strategies used by teachers in the Fiscal Educational Unit Ena Ali Guillém Vélez, to evaluate the tasks sent home. Prospects and problems of tourism in india
The tourism ministry has proposed to create a ‘Land Bank’ by acquiring land for building hotels in public-private partnership on a built, operate and transfer basis. The Railways has also decided to utilize its land inventory for hotels. The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation is planning to set up 100 budget hotels across the country. With a view to encouraging high-end tourism in the country, the government has identified five parts for developing as cruise tourism hubs. The ports identified are Mumbai, Mormugao, New Mangalore and Kochi on the west coastline, and Tuticorin on the east coastline. The tourism ministry would also extend assistance for procurement of cruise vessels or boats for promotion of this new tourism initiative. The government is contemplating creating a tourism infrastructure fund with a corpus of $1-3 billion. It is expected to be financed by way of loans from multilateral institutions such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL & FS) is advising the government on the concept plan. The entry of low-cost airlines has provided a fillip to the tourism industry. However, India’s tourism industry must concentrate on encouraging Indian citizens to holiday within the country too
