    Public services at Motaain State cross border post: Approaches and challenges

    Motaain National Border Post (PLBN) is a border post between the Republic of Indonesia (RI) and the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste (RDTL) which plays an important and strategic role in providing immigration, customs, quarantine, and security services for border crossers between the two countries. As a gateway for entry and exit from Indonesia to RDTL and vice versa, PLBN Motaain must be able to provide maximum service by the achievement targets, namely fast, efficient, and friendly public services. The results of qualitative research using observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques, show that public service governance from an organizational structure approach, service processes, and collaboration between existing agencies, has several problems which are challenges in public service governance at PLBN Motaain. These challenges include limited human resources, limited budget, facilities, and logistics, illegal levies, and limited coordination between agencies. This condition must be addressed immediately to be able to provide effective, efficient, and friendly public services

    Digital teaching resources to enhance logical thinking

    The digital teaching resources to enhance logical thinking are technological tools designed for learning, such as applications, platforms, games, and simulators. These resources focus on developing reasoning, analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills interactively and practically. The objective was to analyze the effectiveness of digital teaching resources in improving logical thinking in seventh-year students of Basic General Education in the "Cinco de Mayo" Educational Unit. Analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, and explanatory methods were used, complemented by statistical data. The results indicate that using digital resources increases motivation and understanding, facilitating the resolution of logical problems autonomously. Likewise, it is observed that these tools allow learning to be adapted to the pace of each student, promoting a participatory and meaningful approach. In conclusion, the implementation of digital resources in mathematics teaching promotes more effective and adaptable learning, standing out as a key strategy to enhance logical-mathematical competencies in diverse educational contexts

    Applying Montessori Education Philosophy in preschool education in Vietnam

    The Montessori educational philosophy, founded by Maria Montessori, emphasizes the holistic development of preschool children, focusing on their innate abilities and fostering independence and self-regulation. In Vietnam, the application of Montessori principles in preschool education has gained traction, albeit with several challenges. This paper assesses the implementation of Montessori education in Vietnamese preschools, examining successful cases and existing hurdles. Drawing from a range of sources, including scholarly articles, books, and dissertations, the analysis highlights the shortage of adequately trained Montessori teachers, high tuition fees, and misconceptions about the Montessori approach. The study proposes solutions such as enhancing teacher training, international collaboration, and improving infrastructure and financial support for Montessori preschools. Furthermore, the paper underscores the significance of applying Montessori principles in Vietnamese early childhood education and suggests future directions for development. By adhering to Montessori's core principles and addressing the identified challenges, this approach has the potential to optimize preschool children's capacities and contribute to the nation's future development

    The influence of work motivation on employee performance after mutation at PT PLN (PERSERO) UIK SBS

    This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance after mutation at PT PLN (Persero) South Sumatra Generating Unit (UIK SBS). The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a causality approach. The data used is primary data obtained through a questionnaire with a Likert scale distributed to all employees of PT PLN (Persero) UIK SBS. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to determine the effect of the independent variable (work motivation) on the dependent variable (employee performance). The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This finding indicates that increasing work motivation can improve employee performance, so companies are expected to formulate effective strategies to increase work motivation to achieve optimal performance

    Socioeconomic factors and university student dropout

    The investigation adopted a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) in order to analyze the different factors of dropout. Based on the analysis of the socioeconomic factors that constitute an element that affects student dropout at the Eloy Alfaro Lay University of Manabí ext.  Chone. The methods used were: Bibliographic, analytical/synthetic, inductive/deductive, documentary, and descriptive. The documentary method contributed to collecting information from the Academic Commission and Secretariat of this institution that contributed to supporting the research. The results showed that the main causes for student dropout are lack of time, work impediments, health problems, and economic situation. In the period from 2020 to 2023, 509 students were registered, of which 446 students graduated in different careers. According to the information collected through the teacher survey, it was determined that the main reasons for student dropout are linked to the lack of economic resources, work aspects, and family problems. At the level of conclusions and based on the data obtained, it was possible to demonstrate that socioeconomic factors constitute an element that affects student dropout. Factors such as academic, economic, family, intention to drop out, motivational, health, and social factors can influence university student dropout

    This research explores the pattern of fostering religious moderation among students at MAN 1 Jembrana use the qualitative method. The coaching pattern is an integration of religious moderation values into subjects like Akidah Akhlak, the Mental Development Process through YouTube, Extracurricular, and Co-curricular, the commitment of leaders and religious moderation coaches at MAN 1 Jembrana, and Harmony Ambassador Programs with an insight into local culture and religious literacy. The obstacles faced in fostering religious moderation are the parents' mindset and the existence of social media containing harmful content, also the behavior of individual religious figures does not align with the attitude of religious moderation

    Brand image effects and promotions on the decision of buying elpiji bright gas in the City of Palembang

    This research was conducted to determine the influence of brand image and promotion on the purchasing decisions of Bright Gas LPG in Palembang City. The population in this study consists of all consumers who purchased Bright Gas LPG in Palembang during the years 2022-2023, with a total of approximately 470 consumers. The sample used in this study consisted of 100 respondents, utilizing the purposive sampling method. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis indicate that brand image and promotion have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Brand image, with a well-established brand image, necessitates the company's role in innovating and conducting research and distribution of Bright Gas LPG according to the market segment. Promotion needs to be attractive to consumers who make purchases in not-too-large quantities. For purchasing decisions, it is hoped to always provide the availability of Bright Gas LPG to avoid shortages

    Multiplier effect of Riam Bidadari tourism village on economic growth in Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan

    One of the problems faced by all regions in Indonesia is how to create high economic growth and reduce inequality. Tourism villages are considered capable of overcoming this problem. Tabalong Regency as a leading district must be able to capture the potential and opportunities with the presence of IKN in East Kalimantan as an area that directly borders. The agricultural and beauty potential that is owned in almost all sub-districts in Tabalong is an opportunity to increase people's welfare through the synergy of tourism and agriculture through agriedutourism. This study aims to analyze the multiplier effect of Riam Bidadari Tourism Village on the economic growth of Tabalong Regency. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and structured interviews with questionnaires. Data were processed descriptively using descriptive Keynesian multiplier analysis to identify the multiplier effect in Riam Bidadari Tourism Village, Tabalong Regency. The results of the study showed that the Keynesian Local Income Multiplier value in the Riam Bidadari Tourism Village was 3.78, the Type I Income Multiplier Ratio value was 1.08, and the Type II Income Multiplier Ratio value was 1.17.

    The effect of perceived value and service quality on interest in buying airplane tickets on PT Garuda Indonesia

    This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived value and service quality on interest in buying plane tickets at PT Garuda Indonesia. Perceived value includes consumer perceptions of service benefits compared to costs incurred, while service quality refers to the quality of service provided by the airline. Data were collected through a questionnaire method using a purposive sampling technique and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results showed that perceived value and service quality have a positive and significant influence on consumer buying interest. The coefficient of determination is 67.2%, indicating that the two variables can explain variations in purchase intention, while the rest is influenced by other factors. These results confirm that increasing perceived value and service quality can increase consumer attractiveness in choosing Garuda Indonesia flight services

    The influence of leadership style on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Ragional Office Region III and Palembang Branch

    This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Regional Office III and Palembang Branch. Leadership style plays an important role in improving employee performance which has a direct impact on achieving company goals. This study uses a quantitative method with total sampling of all employees at PT Pegadaian Regional Office III and Palembang Branch. The results of the analysis show that leadership style has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, especially in the decision-making process, by providing employees with the opportunity to provide input. However, there are still some employees who feel less listened to, which can hinder performance improvement. The findings provide implications for the development of a more inclusive and responsive leadership strategy at PT Pegadaian
