Influence of motivation on academic learning in high school students
Motivation is of utmost importance for students' academic learning, because it constitutes the starting point for learning, creates the impulse to act, and makes the acquisition of significant knowledge possible. The objective of the research was to analyze how motivation influences the academic learning of high school students at the Dr. Gonzalo Abad Grijalva Educational Unit in Chone. The methodology started through a descriptive study with a mixed approach since qualitative and quantitative data were linked, obtained in the research process, through the application of techniques such as the survey and an interview. The population was represented by 112 high school students in their entirety and 8 tutor teachers from the Dr. Gonzalo Abad Grijalva Educational Unit. The results indicated that 62.5% of students consider that teaching methodology is one of the reasons why they become demotivated when they arrive at school.
The current state of preschool management in accordance with quality accreditation requirements in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
This article examines the current state of preschool management in Ho Chi Minh City according to quality accreditation requirements. Early childhood education is the first level in the national education system and plays a crucial role in the holistic development of children. This study surveys various aspects of preschool management, including organization, management, facilities, teaching staff, and the relationship between schools, families, and communities, in meeting national education quality accreditation standards. The research uses a quantitative approach, with a survey conducted among 550 participants, including educational managers, teachers, staff, and parents. The survey results indicate that preschools have made significant progress in areas such as developing strategic plans, optimizing resources, and improving educational quality. However, challenges remain, including issues of transparency in sharing development plans, limited parental and community involvement, and inconsistencies in implementing the preschool education program across schools
Artificial intelligence for the teaching-learning process of physics
The research examined the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the teaching of physics at the 5 de Mayo Educational Unit in Chone during 2024. The study focused on understanding its benefits and limitations in a context with technological gaps, complex for teachers and students at these levels. Artificial Intelligence, arguably, is a transformative tool that facilitates the understanding of abstract concepts through simulations, personalizes learning, motivates students, and promotes inclusion. However, it also warned of risks such as overdependence, loss of critical thinking, and inequity if not implemented with ethical and pedagogical criteria. Using a mixed methodological approach, 40 students and 5 teachers were surveyed and interviewed. The results indicated that approximately half of the students perceive that AI facilitates understanding and makes the subject more attractive, although another segment showed neutral or negative positions due to a lack of technological familiarity or limited teacher support. Teachers recognized AI's potential to personalize learning and identify difficulties, but they did not report a significant reduction in their workload or fully trust automated assessment
Cultural journalism and collective identity: A comparative study of traditional culture on television and YouTube media
Cultural content production is not merely a form of entertainment but a symbolic communication practice that shapes collective identity. Drawing on James Carey’s transmission and ritual models of communication, this study examines how cultural journalism operates in preserving traditional culture through two media platforms: RTV’s Dubi children’s program and the Ayodya Pala Foundation’s YouTube channel. Using a qualitative comparative case study with in-depth interviews, participant observation, and semiotic analysis, the research highlights how media create symbolic spaces where children actively engage with traditional dance, folklore, and cultural symbols. The findings reveal that Dubi exemplifies ritual communication by involving child hosts in cultural practices and presenting simple, repetitive narratives tailored for young audiences. In contrast, Ayodya Pala adapts its content to digital formats through shorter videos, interactive features, and symbolic representation to engage younger generations. Both platforms embed values such as cooperation, tolerance, and harmony, reinforcing culture as a lived and shared experience, yet face challenges of funding limitations, commercial pressures, and minority representation. The study concludes that cultural journalism sustains the relevance of traditional culture in the digital era and offers practical insights for media practitioners and policymakers to design inclusive strategies for cultural preservation
Interdisciplinary approach in educational management science: Theoretical foundations and comparative analysis of the educational management program at the National Academy of Education Management, Vietnam
This study examines the interdisciplinary foundations of educational management science through a qualitative analysis of the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in Educational Management at the National Academy of Education Management (NAEM), Vietnam. Drawing from both international theoretical frameworks and official curricula from 2024 to 2025, the research investigates how interdisciplinary integration is structured across academic levels and how it supports leadership, innovation, and sustainable development in education. The findings reveal that NAEM’s programs form a coherent vertical system based on seven thematic domains: management and leadership, systems science, economics and policy, sociology and organizational culture, improvement science, educational technology and data analytics, and global and transdisciplinary perspectives. The study shows that interdisciplinarity serves as both a theoretical foundation and a strategic framework linking theory, research, and practice in the professional development of educational leaders. The discussion emphasizes that the programs exemplify Mode 2 Knowledge Production (Gibbons et al., 1994), where knowledge emerges through the interaction of academic inquiry, professional practice, and policy contexts. The study concludes with recommendations to strengthen theoretical frameworks, promote interdisciplinary research networks, and expand international collaboration to enhance the global standing of Vietnam’s educational management science

Digital transformation in public services: Political challenges and global implications
Digital transformation in public services has become a strategic agenda in many countries, including Indonesia, to improve efficiency, transparency and accountability in governance. Digitalisation of public services not only accelerates administrative processes and expands public access to services, but also strengthens public participation through innovative digital channels. However, the implementation of digital transformation faces complex political challenges, such as infrastructure gaps, bureaucratic cultural resistance, limited digital literacy, and regulatory and leadership dynamics. These challenges can hinder the optimisation of the benefits of digitalisation in public services. At the global level, digital transformation encourages harmonisation of governance standards, international collaboration and exchange of best practices, but also raises new issues such as data security and the digital divide between countries. This research uses a literature review method to analyse the political challenges and global implications of digital transformation in public services, with the hope of providing strategic recommendations for inclusive and sustainable policy development
Reading comprehension in the cognitive performance of Language and Literature in high school students
The low level of reading comprehension among students has triggered a series of challenges that affect their cognitive, academic, and professional development. This deficit has compromised students' ability to understand texts, thus limiting their ability to learn and apply concepts and skills in different educational contexts. The objective was to analyze the performance of high school students in the area of reading comprehension in order to boost their cognitive development at the Amazonas Educational Unit, located in the Chone Canton, Manabí province, during the 2023-2024 school year. For the development of the research, a methodology with a mixed quantitative-qualitative approach was used, in which the survey and observation sheet were applied as research techniques. The sample consisted of 243 high school students and 10 teachers from the Language and Literature department at the Amazonas Educational Unit in the Chone canton. The sample was a random sample of 100 high school students and 10 teachers from the Language and Literature department at the Amazonas Educational Unit in the Chone canton. The results showed a diverse and well-established educational practice among teachers, with a strong emphasis on integrating reading into their teaching
