Theoretical and empirical research methods were used, which allowed for its direction and analysis. The research demonstrated the need to promote this type of learning due to its usefulness and durability. As a result of the theoretical systematization and diagnosis, a proposal for teaching strategies was designed to promote meaningful learning in the General Didactics subject. The results were validated through methodological triangulation between the following methods: a socialization workshop, a survey, and pedagogical experience, which allowed us to demonstrate the relevance and feasibility of the proposal

Students’ attitudes towards the utilization of guidance and counselling services in schools

Guidance and counselling services are a vital component of holistic education, yet their utilization by high school students in Ghana remains low despite moderate awareness. This mixed-methods study investigated students' attitudes and the factors influencing their engagement with these services, drawing on a sample of 362 students and six key informants (head teachers and counselors). The findings reveal a significant gap between students' recognition of a personal need for counselling and their actual willingness to seek it. The results highlight that the decision to utilize services is critically influenced by factors such as counselor ethics, trust, and confidentiality, with a counselor's reputation and a conducive environment being paramount. Peer-driven social stigma also emerged as a powerful deterrent, with students more likely to be discouraged by negative peer opinions than encouraged by positive ones. Conversely, teacher recommendations were found to be a strong enabler. The study concludes that interventions aimed at improving utilization must focus on building a culture of trust and privacy, rather than just increasing awareness. The implications suggest a need for policymakers to invest in professionally trained counselors and for practitioners to prioritize ethical transparency and confidential, welcoming spaces

The enactment of the Job Creation Law aims to facilitate business and create investment to open up as many job opportunities as possible. However, with the enactment of the Job Creation Law, the opposite has happened, namely, an increase in unemployment and many cases of termination of employment, particularly in the industrial sector. As a result, the Job Creation Law is considered to have failed to protect the interests of workers/labourers. The Job Creation Law is also alleged to favour employers, one of which is by providing ease in terminating employment relationships with workers/labourers, as reflected in Article 151A paragraph (2). In addition to facilitating the termination of employment for workers/labourers, the Job Creation Law also has the potential to provide low compensation or severance pay, as regulated in the provisions of Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021 on PKWT. Through this study, the author focuses on the provision of compensation/severance pay due to the termination of employment for workers/labourers at a low cost.&nbsp

The implementation of an active learning strategy supported by simulation for learning is considered a fundamental task within the educational task. In this sense, this research has the purpose of determining the impact of virtual simulators on the teaching-learning process. For this purpose, a quantitative approach was given, using a quasi-experimental methodological design, where with a first group (Control) a demonstration class was carried out without the help of virtual simulators. With a second group (Experimental), a demonstration class was held using this type of tools. The results showed that, at the level of the participating high school students, the use of virtual simulators motivates them and facilitates learning. On the contrary, the development of the traditional class demotivated and did not generate interest in the participating students. At the level of conclusions, the use of virtual simulators has a positive impact on learning; it is proven that virtual simulators provide practically useful content in the educational field
