    Background of Study: Transmission of COVID-19 is made through close contact and saliva splashes/droplets, instead of air transmission. Baby is one of the most vulnerable subjects to any kind of disease due to their body's immune is still likely weak or imperfect.  Providing insights on the importance of maintaining health and the danger of COVID-19 virus is necessary to conduct through some informal educational platforms to the society.  Method: the research method used in the present study was quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-test with a control group design.  The sampling technique used was random sampling. In this study, a bivariate test was conducted to find out the effect and difference in the level of knowledge and attitude of both the control group and experimental group.  The present study, further, used the statistical test of Mann Witney and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test

    Medern methods of Phylloxera-resistant Rootstock Vine growth and formation

    The results of testing modern methods of phylloxera-resistant vine growth and formation, which is considered to be one of the important issues in viticulture, is discussed in the article. Vegetation trials were conducted in 2017-2019 in Georgia, Inner Kakheti, on the South-eastern slope of the Caucasus Mountains, where alluvial soils are found. Phylloxera-resistant hybrid rootstock Berlandieri X Riparia Kober 5BB was selected for the field trials. Growth and formation process of the vine took place in the unusual conditions for phylloxera-resistant vine, using cordon systems. Six variants were tested, low trunk, unilateral and bilateral cordons as well as vertical cordon. The most widespread form in the viticultural region - “head trained form without trunk” - was selected as a control variant. The findings have been analyzed and reviewed according to the years.  Conclusions have been drawn from the findings and the best variant for the production of high quality, abundant vine shoots has been selected

    A design of a cocoa bean sorting machine

    Cocoa plantations have employed thousands of farmer families throughout Indonesia, as well as have been the third largest export among the plantation sub-sector after rubber and oil palm. Therefore, the potential for the development of the cocoa industry as one of the drivers of growth and income distribution is very open. Cocoa bean production in Indonesia continues to increase, but the quality produced is still diverse such as less fermented, not dry enough, uniform bean size, high skin content, high acidity, and very diverse flavors. In this research, efforts to overcome these problems are accomplished by designing a cocoa bean sorting machine that can separate clean cocoa beans and root debris from cocoa beans so as it is expected to make it easier for cocoa farmers, workers, entrepreneurs and industries to more easily get a cocoa bean sorting machine so that the quality of cocoa beans improves and their selling price increases. Seeing these challenges, the authors took the initiative to create a new design a cocoa bean sorting machine with a simpler and more precise design

    The effect of using various tea types on the characteristics of wong tea balinese tradisional beverage

    This study aimed to determine the effect of various types of tea solutions on the characteristics of Wong Tea. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) of 4 treatments with various types of tea solutions with 4 replications. The results showed that there were significant differences in the organoleptic quality including the taste, aroma, and color of Wong tea. The results of the research on pH, total acid, alcohol content, and total soluble solid showed no significant difference. The pH of Wong tea ranged from pH 3.28 - pH 3.35, total soluble solid ranged from 13.90°Brix - 13.95°Brix, total acidity of Wong tea ranged from 1.58% - 1.72%. The alcohol content of Wong tea ranges from 0.33% - 0.41%. The results of this study also showed that there was a significant difference in antioxidant activity and phenol levels of Wong tea, i.e., the antioxidant capacity of Wong tea ranged from 6.50% - 7.30%.  The components that act as antioxidants in Wong tea ingredients come from phenolic compounds. Phenol levels in Wong tea ranged from 125.80 mg% - 141.10 mg%

      In the petroleum industry, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technology has been developed to obtain increased oil recovery from reservoirs. One of the EOR methods is chemical EOR using a surfactant known as the surfactant flooding method. Surfactants have the ability to reduce the interfacial tension between oil and water in the rock matrix so that residual oil can be produced. There are several parameters that affect the performance of surfactants, among which will be discussed in this discussion, namely the middle phase emulsion obtained from the phase behavior test and the results from the Interfacial Tension (IFT) test. Based on the literature review, the method used in IFT uses the spinning drop method. In reality, the implementation of construction projects always experiences obstacles that result in delays in the completion of work, so that the completion time of the work is not in accordance with the work plan that has been set. Delays that occur will cause losses for related parties, especially owners and contractors, because they are generally accompanied by conflicts, demands for time and costs, and deviations in the quality of project completion. Based on the thoughts and problems mentioned above, a research was conducted to determine the dominant factor causing delays in the execution time of work on the Denpasar Living World Mall Building Project which may be different from other projects and provide alternatives for handling the delay factor. This research was conducted at the Living World Mall Denpasar.     This study aims to: 1) determine the level of competency equality in the curriculum of the Diploma 3 Mechanical Engineering Study Program at the State Polytechnic with the competencies needed by the world of work. 2) find out the level of competency gap in the D3 Mechanical Engineering BSP study program curriculum with the competencies needed by the world of work in Bali. The research was conducted at the Bali State Polytechnic, using a mixed quantitative and qualitative descriptive method. The subjects are alumni who have worked, industry leaders where alumni work, and teaching lecturers in the Mechanical Engineering department. Samples were taken using Snowball Sampling. Data were collected through a survey using a questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results of the analysis show that the level of equality of the D3 Mechanical Engineering study program curriculum in PNB with the competencies required by the world of work in Bali reaches 78.24% in the high category, and 2) the competency gap level in the D3 Mechanical Engineering BSP study program curriculum with the competencies required by the working world in Bali ranges from 8.94%. &nbsp

Currently, several problems have been found on Universitas Faletehan website. Among them are the appearance of the main page that is less organized and less organized, and page navigation that is still empty. For this reason, a design for improving the interface is carried out using the design thinking method. This method is known as a comprehensive thinking process that concentrates on creating a solution that begins with a process of empathy for a particular human-centered need. There are 5 stages in this method, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing. The recommended application is built in the form of a prototype using the Figma application.     The development of electronic technology in the era of globalization is very rapid. Utilization of this technology as a means to monitor soil conditions for agriculture, especially hydroponic plantations which are currently developing, to obtain optimal results it is necessary to monitor humidity and temperature conditions. This research will create a system that can maintain humidity and air temperature according to what plants need. The tools made consist of a temperature sensor, humidity sensor, ATMega328 microcontroller, ADC and water pump. Temperature and humidity sensors function to detect air temperature and humidity. The ADC functions to convert the voltage measurement results from temperature and humidity measurements into digital quantities which are then forwarded to the ATMega328 microcontroller to be processed into a digital display on the LCD. The ATMega328 microcontroller also regulates the ON and OFF of the water pump machine

    The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of quality culture related to professional culture and national culture that influence each other in contracting companies, especially in Indonesia. The factors that will determine the development process are identified using Structural Equation Modeling. From the results of the analysis, it is found that professional culture, national culture and quality management systems can increase efforts to develop a quality culture in BUMN companies. The variable of professional culture with time and team indicators, variables of national culture with indicators of individualism/collectivism and power distance, and the variable quality management system with indicators of organizational and operational context has a significant effect on the Quality Culture Development. To be able to increase efforts to develop a quality culture in state-owned construction service companies, it is necessary to improve the professional culture, national culture, and quality management system effectively. This research can be used as material or input to improve efforts to develop a quality culture in BUMN construction companies in Indonesia in the future
