Analysis of contractor capacity level in following E-tender in Gianyar District
The implementation of government procurement of goods/services in the Gianyar Regency is carried out electronically by E-Tendering. In practice, the participation and bid value of bidders tends to decrease both during conventional auctions and electronic auctions. This study aims to determine the level of contractors' ability to participate in e-tenders, factors that affect participation or contracts not to participate in e-tenders, and what deficiencies exist in the implementation of e-tenders in Gianyar Regency. The sample used in this study were 73 contractor companies in this Regency in the analysis of the contractor's ability level, and 43 companies in the factor and deficiency analysis where this number used the sampling method using simple random sampling technique with purposive sampling and data collection using observation from GAPENSI Gianyar Regency and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis. From the results of the analysis of contractors, the dominant qualification is K1. Therefore, the contractor's ability to participate in e-tenders is the most dominant in projects valued at Rp.0 - Rp. 1 Billion. And for the category e-tender highest in the B2 qualification with the contractor's ability level, they can participate in projects worth Rp.0 - Rp. 50 billion
Rock slope stability analysis in Melasti Beach area – Ungasan, Bali
Melasti Beach is one of the main tourist attractions developed by the Bali Government. This beach is located in the southern area of Bali, precisely in Ungasan village, Badung Regency, Bali. At the moment, the region administrator is constructing a tourism facility by excavating a rock mass near the beach. Therefore, to avoid damage to nearby shops and beach facilities, a study is needed to be conducted about the safety of the rock mass that is being excavated. Direct observation of the rock mass and rock mass classification is conducted to obtain the physic and mechanical characteristics of the rock. To do the stability analysis of the slope, Geo-Studio 2012 software is used by inputting the data obtained from the field and laboratory data. The result of this study is a mass rock in Melasti Beach is classified as limestone which has a Fair rock classification and the factor of the safety of the rock slope/cliff is 1.631 which means the cliff is safe and is no need to build an extra reinforcement on the slope/cliff

Impression of ABS waste (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Strene) as an alternative material eco-friendly paving block manufacturing
This research was motivated by the question of how to utilize the waste of ABS (acrylonitrile Butadiene Stryene) in the form of leftover cigarette butts produced and applied in making paving blocks. The test results are further processed and interpreted by comparing ABS waste aggregates as well as aggregate standards for normal block paving. The physical properties tests carried out in this study are: filter analysis test, moisture content test, content weight test, and specific gravity test. Furthermore, test specimens were made for testing non-structural building materials in the form of square moulds of paving blocks with sizes a length of 21 cm, a width of 10.5 cm and a thickness of 8 cm. The compressive strength of the plan in making this concrete is 10 MPa which is placed in garden areas with light loads. Making paving block test objects using natural sand and added ABS waste in the form of cigarette butts. From the results of the concrete compressive strength test, using SNI-PD-T-04-2004-C for a composition of 0%, 2.5%, 5% and 7% qualified because the average compressive strength of 7 days is 7,1091 MPa and at 28 days is 11,008 MPa on.
Design of remote temperature monitoring system tool using VHF waves based on VFC LM331
A remote temperature monitoring system has been designed and manufactured using VHF waves based on VFC LM331. This remote temperature monitoring system uses the IC LM35 temperature sensor. The technique used for sending data uses radio waves on VHF lines with an OOK (On-Off Keying) modulation system. So that the analogue voltage signal from the sensor can be modulated and transmitted by the transmitter, the voltage must be converted to frequency using a VFC LM331. From the results of measuring the accuracy of the design tool, it was found that the design tool worked well at a temperature of 0 oC up to 99% compared to a reference device. The range of the system that has been designed is much influenced by the frequency of the transmitter used, the more users on that frequency, the shorter the range. The farthest distance that can be reached is around 120 meters at a frequency of 80 MHz while at a frequency of 89 – 106.3 MHz it can only reach around 48 meters
The optimization of a Bilih fish drying system using the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS)
The quality of dried Bilih fish can be determined on the basis of its water and protein content. The dried Bilih fish produced by Small Medium Enterprise (MSE) Mina Lestari has a high water content of 24% and a low protein content of 35%. These problems were addressed using a proposed parabolic-type drying machine, whose operating system is affected by drying duration, drying tray height, tray rotation, drying layer material and rack quantity and capacity. The results showed that water content decreased to 11.98% and that protein concentration increased to 64.02%. The sensitivity analysis indicated that changes in the values of quality attributes were minimally sensitive to alterations in the weights attached to water and protein content. The optimal combination of factor levels would remain consistent even under a weight of ≤0.83286 ascribed to water content, indicating that a weight ranging from 0 to 0.83286 for this substance exhibits little sensitivity to the initial decision on level factors
Performance analysis of pulse shaping rectangular pulse through frequency selective fading transmission channel in OFDM system
- Long Term Evolution or LTE is a fourth generation (4G) cellular network technology that uses OFDM as its multiplexing technique for fast and effective wireless communication services. OFDM uses the concept of orthogonality for bandwidth efficiency by multiplexing overlapping subcarriers. But in its implementation, this system will have problems in the transmission channel. In addition, OFDM has the major drawback of being susceptible to frequency offset between the transmitter and receiver. This offset frequency will cause the orthogonal character built in the OFDM system to experience a decrease in performance. This decrease in performance is due to the occurrence of ICI. To overcome this, a method is needed to improve system performance. The method used in this research is Rectangular Pulse. Therefore, this research is made to combine the advantages of OFDM and pulse shaping and is expected to produce a superior system and can contribute to the improvement of 4G-LTE implementation. The approach method in this research applies a quantitative descriptive approach to analyze system performance and in this research uses the simulation method as a reference to obtain research data using the Matlab application
Integrated water resources management in the Bukian irrigation area at Badung Regency
Management of Water Resources in order to meet the needs of living things is very important. Management of Water Resources that is not integrated will cause various problems, including drought, conflicts of interest between water users. The Bukian Irrigation Area is an irrigation area that utilizes surface water for its agricultural activities. Currently the Bukian Irrigation Area obtains irrigation water from the Bukian I weir and Bukian II weir as a supply weir to increase the need for water discharge required in the irrigation area. In the utilization of surface water that is used to meet irrigation needs at this time less attention is paid to a good water management system, such as a lack of control over water use. Water management can be carried out properly if the condition of the water balance in the system is known. Related to this, additional discharge and integrated water management are needed to avoid conflicts of interest between water users. The method in this study is a quantitative analysis with the mainstay discharge variable in the Bukian I and II weirs and irrigation water demand based on the existing cropping pattern.
Virtual playful tools and mathematical logical thinking in EGB students
The research had the purpose of demonstrating that the use of virtual playful tools and mathematical logical thinking in EGB students of the "Bachillero" Educational Unit. In this sense, a quantitative approach was proposed in order to generate statistics through the results obtained with respect to the declared variables. At the level of results, it is evident that there is significant learning when using the PhET simulator because the student can visualize the exercise three-dimensionally. The opposite occurs when the teacher explains the same exercise on the blackboard. Finally, it is proposed as conclusions that, contrary to the control group, these students achieved significant learning, since the images provided by the PhTE simulator allowed them to visualize the proposed fractional numbers in a three-dimensional way. It is worth mentioning that, with the use of this type of simulator, students also show greater motivation and interest in learning
