PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POWERPOINT MELALUI METODE DISCOVERY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MAHASISWA
This type of research is a pseudo-exprimen that aims to know the influence of the application of powerpoint learning media through guided discovery methods to student problem solving skills. It says pseudo-excrement because not all variables that can affect a student\u27s problem solving skills can be controlled. Variables that are manipulated are only free variables that are learning by using powerpoint learning media through discovery methods and the bound variable is the problem solving ability of students of Inferential Statistics Courses. Through the analysis stage obtained a conclusion that the use of powerpoint media through the approach of learning discovery makes students more active in the learning process so as to provide stimulation to the thinking ability of students. PENGARUH ALAT PERAGA BATANG CUISENAIRE MODEL BLANDED TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR KONSEP PERKALIAN SISWA
Pemahaman konsep perkalian bagi siswa sekolah dasar penting untuk diberikan sebab pemahan konsep yang baik akan mempermudah siswa mempelajari konsep matematika pada derajat yang lebih tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh alat peraga batang cuisenaire model blanded terhadap hasil belajar konsep perkalian siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-postest control group desing. Besaran sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data ada dua yaitu analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Temuan penelitian ini ialah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok eksperimen dan control yaitu hasil belajar konsep perkalian kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi disbanding dengan kelompok control
KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS BERDASARKAN GENDER MELALUI TUTOR SEBAYA DAN CTL
Mathematical communication ability of collegers can differ based on the learning model applied. The peer teaching model and CTL are models that can be used as alternatives to see the differences in collegers\u27 mathematical communication ability. The difference in the abilities of these students can not only be seen from the choice of models but also based on gender. Gender can be a benchmark for determining understanding of mathematical communication. The study intends to look at differences in understanding of collegers\u27 mathematical communication based on gender and presence or absence a relationship of peer teaching and CTL with gender on understanding of collegers\u27 mathematical communication. This type of research is a quasi experiment with the research sample involving two classes. The first class applies the peer teaching model while the second class applies the CTL model. The research data came from a test of collegers\u27 mathematical communication skills. Analysis of research data in the form of descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using Two-Way ANOVA. Research proves that there are differences in collegers \u27understanding of mathematical communication based on gender and there is no relationship between peer teaching and CTL with gender on collegers\u27 understanding of mathematical communication. Male collegers are better able to communicate mathematical in written form in written text 52% and mathematical expressions 54% while female collegers are better able to communicate in drawings 55%
PROFIL LEVEL KONTEKS PADA SOAL MODEL PISA
One of the obstacles in designing the PISA like problems is determining the right context in order to make the questions make sense for students to solve. Therefore, this study aims to determine the profile of the context level in the PISA like problems developed by novice researchers, students of the Mathematics Education Study Program in one of university in Palembang, South Sumatra, who conducted a final assignment research on the topic of developing the PISA like problems. The level of context in this study is defined as a matter of mathematical models that use situations that are either found in the real world that make sense in students\u27 understanding. Context level is divided into three, namely camouflage context, contexts that need solutions, and contexts that require mathematical models. Document observation was carried out to collect the profile data about the PISA model through filling in the checklist sheet and quantitative descriptions. The document observed in this activity was 43 items of PISA like problems from the four research subjects involved. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the PISA like problems developed by research subjects are still dominated by questions with a camouflage context that is equal to 53.49%. As many as 41.86% of the questions designed were already accompanied by contexts that needed solutions. However, the number of contexts requiring mathematical models is only 4.65%
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING
Learning is successful can be seen from the active role of students as both input and output, and the teacher as a facilitator in improving learning outcomes. Development of learning tools is done so that learning becomes more innovative, effective, efficient and has better quality. The number of students who still have problems in understanding mathematics, because teaching material is not interesting so it is not only difficult to understand but also not serious when learning mathematics. Scrapbook learning media can make learning more interesting because it displays the appearance that students like and is memorable for students so that the learning received is longer remembered. This research will produce a product in the form of ScrapBook based problem based learning. This research is a 4-D research and development namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. Assessment of student effectiveness can be seen from the results of learning tests conducted on a limited test using the Problem Based Learning Scrapbook based on VIII A class Muhammadiyah Junior high school 9 Surabaya obtained 80% including with good criteria. PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATERI HIMPUNAN MODEL RESIK BERBASIS SCIENTIFIC DI SMP
This research aims to produce learning tools on the RESIK learning model and scientific approach that is valid, practical, and effective. The learning tool used for home studying during the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning tools developed include 1) lesson plans used for, 2) Student Books, and 3) Worksheets. The research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Enrekang with the research subjects being Class VII students in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The development of the learning tool refers to four D Models (4-D models) consisting of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The process of research and dissemination of instruments is done online by using the Zoom, Whatsapp, and Google Form. At the design stage, the draft RPP produced 4 meetings, Student Books, and Student Workbooks. The development stage through the expert validation stage and field trials is obtained: 1) The results of the expert validation showed that the lesson plan, Student Book, and Worksheet are good and can be used with minor revisions; 2) The results of the field trials showed that lesson plans, student books, and worksheets did not need to be revised. Whereas for positive student responses and learning outcomes tests seen from classical completeness obtained was quite feasible to use. The products from this research are valid, practical, and effective learning tools for set material
ANALISIS HASIL BELAJAR BERDASARKAN KOMPONEN PROSES LITERASI MATEMATIKA
This research is a descriptive qualitative research, with aims to describe the learning outcomes of mathematics based on the process components of the mathematical literacy. Process components are one of three components of assessment according to the International Student Assessment Program (PISA). The process components tested in this study include (1) ability to formulate problems, (2) ability to use concepts, facts, procedures and reasoning, and (3) ability to interpret results. The method used includes of documentation, observation, and interviews, with triangulation techniques used as validity data. The results of this descriptive qualitative study are: (1) literacy ability in process of formulating problem obtains with average score of 23,33 from 25 maximum score. Its means the students are good at formulating the problems presented in the question. (2) Literacy ability of using concepts, facts, procedures and reasoning gets 30,63 average score from 50 maximum score . Its means students are not fully able to use conceptual skills, procedures properly. (3) Literacy ability in interpreting the results gets 15,73 average score from 25 maximum score. Its means the students are not fully able to interpret and evaluate the results of their work correctly. Among of the three process components, the conclution is the ability to formulate problems is most prominent compared to other process capabilities
ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN SISWA DAN GURU SMK DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kesalahan serta kesulitan yang dilakukan siswa SMK 9 BIMA dalam menyelesaikan lima soal matematika yang di berikan. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru di SMK 9 BIMA, subjek terdiri dua orang guru matematika, satu guru matematika kelas X dan satu guru matematika kelas XI dan 10 orang siswa yang terdiri dari lima orang siswa kelas X dan lima orang siswa kelas XI, sedangkan fokus penelitian adalah pada penyelesaiain soal matematika yang di berikan, soal sebanyak lima nomor untuk guru dan lima nomor untuk siswa, data di analisis dengan berdasarkan hasil kerja siswa dan guru di SMK 9 BIMA Tahun ajaran 2017/2018. PENGEMBANGAN BUKU AJAR STATISTIKA DENGAN SOFTWARE R UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN PEMAHAMAN
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Buku ajar ini sebagai penunjang perkuliahan statistika guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep statistika sehingga mahasiswa memiliki ketrampilan analisis data dengan software R secara mandiri. Prosedur pengembangan buku ajar ini terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu : pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran.. Materi buku ajar sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran statistik yang ditampilkan dengan contoh dan software dengan R. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) penilaian reviewer diperoleh skor validitas isi buku ajar adalah 0,81 yang berarti bahwa validitas isi buku ajar termasuk kategori tinggi dengan reliabilitas 0,89, sehingga buku ajar layak untuk digunakan sebagai alat penunjang kegiatan pembelajaran statistika matematika;(2) Buku ajar ini memiliki kriteria sangat praktis. Hal ini di jelaskan pada hasil uji kepraktisan oleh mahasiswa sehingga buku ajar layak digunakan pada perkuliahan statistika matematika; (3) Tidak ada peningkatan motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah statistika matematika dengan perlakuan diajar menggunakan software R dan buku ajar statistika dengan R. Hal ini didukung oleh rata-rata ngain item motivasi belajar mahasiswa diperoleh yaitu -0,07 berada pada kategori rendah; (4) Tidak ada peningkatan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada matakuliah statistika matematika dengan perlakuan diajar menggunakan software R dan buku ajar statistika dengan R. Hal ini didukung oleh rata-rata ngain item pemahaman konsep mahasiswa diperoleh yaitu 0,25 berada pada kategori rendah
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INQUIRY BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIKA SISWA
Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis siwa yang masih rendah, siswa cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan persoalan matematika yang berbentuk essay dengan penyelesaian yang membutuhkan kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir kritis. Solusi dalam permasalahan ini bisa dilakukan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat, model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning menjadi solusi yang dilakukan peneliti untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis karena model ini menekankan pada proses berpikir kritis dan analisis untuk mencari dan menemukan jawaban dari suatu masalah yang dipermasalahkan Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 215 Jakarta Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII F sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling berjumlah 60 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrument tes berupa soal essay berjumlah 10 soal yang telah melalui tahap validasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika
