Digital yen brings interoperability to Japan's code payment systems
Get PDF本稿ではCBDC(中央銀行デジタル通貨)の1つであるデジタル円が日本のコード決済にもたらす影響として,クレジットカードの現金化の関係で相互互換が出来なくなって乱立したままの日本のコード決済に対し,銀行口座に戻せる種類のコード決済を淘汰できることで相互互換を促せる効果について論じている.
CBDCは導入しても普及しなかった事例が少なくないだけでなく,関連する通貨のデジタル化についてもなかなか成功例が多くはなかった.その中で数少ない一般利用者への普及例のあるカンボジアのバコンを参考にすると,日本の乱立したコード決済の淘汰と活用可能性としてデジタル円の導入の意義がある.This paper discusses the effect that the digital yen, one of the CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency), will have on Japanese code payments, which are still in disarray because they can no longer be interchangeable due to the cash value of credit cards. The paper discusses the effect of the introduction of CBDC.
Not only have there been many cases where CBDC did not spread after its introduction, but there have also not been many successful examples of the digitization of related currencies.
