Full text linkThis paper presents the results about the theoretical and quasi-experimental research whose main objective was based on the identification of Learning Styles in the Business Management Emphasis in the average vocation of a private school in the city of Bogotá; also, shows the analysis about it. Finally, it exposes some strategies generated from the obtained results, in order to contribute in a positive construction of the learning process of some Economic Sciences’ spaces at this institution.El presente artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos y el respectivo análisis acerca de la investigación teórico-cuasi experimental cuyo objetivo principal se fundamentó en la identificación de los estilos de aprendizaje en el Énfasis de Gestión Empresarial, perteneciente a la media vocacional de un colegio de carácter privado de la ciudad de Bogotá. Igualmente, se presentan algunas estrategias generadas a partir de los resultados obtenidos, los cuales contribuyan a mejoras del proceso de aprendizaje de algunos espacios propios de las Ciencias Económicas en dicha institución
Subjetividades transgresoras y homofobia internalizada
Full text linkThis article will try to explain the concept of homophobia and its dimensions: personal, interpersonal, institutional, and cultural. This article tries also to describe the concept of internalized homophobia as a product of heteronormative discourse within the patriarchal system. This article will reflect on the passage of the mental health disciplines from the postivist paradigm through the emergent paradigm and ultimately, to the complexity paradigm and how each of them influenced the approach and treatment of internalized homophobia. Finally, it will analyze the principles of classic-positivist psychiatry, psychoanalitic psychotherapy and affirmative psychotherapy focusing on advantages and disadvantages in relation to the assessment and treatment of internalized homphobia. It will explore the possibility of their integration through the principles of transdisciplinary and complex thinking. This article will reflect on levels of reality and the logic of the included middle.En este artículo se pretende explicar el concepto de homofobia y sus dimensiones: personal, interpersonal, institucional y cultural. A su vez, pretende describir el concepto de homofobia internalizada como producto del discurso heteronormativo proveniente del sistema patriarcal. Asimismo, se trata de reflexionar acerca del transitar de las disciplinas dedicadas al estudio de las enfermedades mentales desde el paradigma clásico-positivista, por el paradigma emergente, al paradigma de la complejidad; y cómo cada uno de estos paradigmas influyó en el abordaje y tratamiento de la homofobia internalizada. Finalmente, se analizarán los principios de la psiquiatría clásica-positivista, de la psicoterapia psicoanalítica y de la psicoterapia afirmativa, teniendo en cuenta sus ventajas y desventajas en relación al diagnóstico y tratamiento de la homofobia internalizada y una posible integración de estos saberes terapéuticos, mediada por los principios de la transdisciplinariedad y del pensamiento complejo, reflexionándose acerca de los conceptos de niveles de la realidad y de la lógica del tercio incluido

Full text linkThis paper presents the qualitative and quantitative results of an action research carried out with a group of industrial engineering students at the Polytechnic University of Tlaxcala, Mexico. The subjects of the research, who needed to read texts in English for specific purposes, the students affirmed at the beginning of the work that they should see and read every word of their text, because they could not read several words at the same time, while they hardly read texts in English for not knowing how to approach them. Then, it is possible to generate a change of attitude towards reading after a training and the adoption of some reading strategies; this helps the students to be readers that are more efficient. The results show that some readers in a foreign language can have a better performance in their reading after being aware of the type of strategies they can apply, especially if they read texts from their own area of study. The conclusions lead to think that a conscious training with the students can help them to be more successful in their reading comprehension.El artículo presenta los resultados cualitativos y cuantitativos de una investigaciónacción llevada a cabo con un grupo de estudiantes de Ingeniería Industrial en la Universidad Politécnica de Tlaxcala, México. Los sujetos de la investigación, quienes necesitaban leer textos en inglés con propósitos específicos, afirmaron al inicio del trabajo que debían ver y leer cada palabra de su texto porque no podían leer varias palabras al mismo tiempo, en tanto, difícilmente leían textos en inglés por no saber cómo abordarlos. Entonces, es posible generar un cambio de actitud hacia la lectura después de un entrenamiento y la adopción de algunas estrategias de lectura, que les ayuda a ser lectores más eficientes. Los resultados evidencian que algunos lectores en lengua extranjera pueden tener una mejor actuación en su lectura después de estar conscientes del tipo de estrategias que pueden aplicar, sobre todo si leen textos de su propia área de estudio. Las conclusiones conducen a pensar que un entrenamiento consciente con los estudiantes puede ayudarlos a ser más exitosos en su comprensión lectora

Full text linkThis article tries to explain the nature of the therapeutic relationship as a complex adaptative system. In order to do so, it analyzes the concepts of transference, countertransference and therapeutic alliance from the dynamic and cognitive perspectives. In addition, it analyzes the concepts of complex subject, system, complex system and complex adaptative system. Finally, it reflects on the paradigm of simplification, the levels of reality and the logic of included third. This article is supported by the principles of transdisciplinarity and complex thinking.Este artículo trata de explicar la naturaleza de la relación terapéutica como sistema adaptativo complejo. Para ello, se analizan los conceptos de transferencias, contratransferencia y alianza terapéutica desde la perspectiva dinámica y cognitiva. A su vez, se estudian los conceptos de sujeto complejo, sistema, sistema complejo y sistema adaptativo complejo. Finalmente, se reflexiona acerca del paradigma de la simplificación, de los conceptos de niveles de realidad y de la lógica del tercero incluido. The document focuses on the intended purposes for education in Colombia, in the utopian sense that is generated from the reality projected by them and the dystopia caused by the range of what was previously set and the existing reality. Similar to complex thought, it is outlined the need to understand the emerging interactions in three essential agents for the consideration of a close future in education: the State, the society and the subject.En el presente texto se aborda una reflexión que considera la función esencial de la escuela en construir el futuro próximo de la sociedad, tomando como punto de partida la discusión sobre el rol que ésta debe cumplir en el plano social e histórico. Gripper con un grado de libertad para prototipo de brazo robótico educativo
Full text linkThis article describes the design of a robotic “gripper” which intends to motivate and encourage students instudying science and technology. The design of the gripper must be removable and interchangeable by other modelsin the same robotic arm. In the first stage of the project “Design and Implementation of an Educational Robot Arm” thepartial results in dynamic and didactic teaching of robotics are highlighted as the main objective. The developed clamptype prototype has the ability to lift 1kg of weight. Through programming algorithms and the usage of a force sensor,the gripper is configured to transport objects from one position to another. The results described below correspond tomeasurements of the first prototype that will serve as the basis for the progress and implementation of the followingstages of the projectEl presente artículo describe el diseño de un “gripper” robótico con el cual se pretende motivar e incentivarel interés por el estudio de la ciencia y la tecnología. El diseño del gripper debe ser desmontable e intercambiable por otros modelos en un mismo brazo robótico. En la primera etapa del proyecto “Diseño e Implementación de un Brazo Robot Educativo” se destacan los resultados parciales en la enseñanza dinámica y didáctica de la robótica como objetivo principal. El prototipo desarrollado tipo pinza tiene la capacidad de levantar 1kg de masa. Mediante algoritmos de programación y el uso de un sensor de fuerza el gripper se configura para transportar objetos de una posición a otra. Los resultados que se describen a continuación corresponden a mediciones del primer prototipo que servirá como base para el avance y puesta en marcha de las siguientes etapas del proyecto

Evaluación del compromiso entre distorsión armónica y eficiencia energética en los sistemas de mejoramiento del factor de potencia de los alimentadores Zeta, Luo y Cuk para motores de DC sin escobillas
Full text linkThe objective of this article is to evaluate the existing compromise between the harmonic distortion and theenergy efficiency of the drivers for brushless DC motors based on the isolated Zeta, Luo and Cuk converters to determinethe advantages and contributions of each converter with respect to the energetic efficiency, also, the relation that has thisefficiency with the quality of the electrical energy. In order to carry out the proposed evaluation, the inverter models foundin the literature were used, as well as the inverter and motor simulation models found in the Simscape Electronics tool ofthe Matlab software. The research focused on comparing the power factor, total harmonic distortion (THD) and energyefficiency (understood as the quotient between the active energy consumed by the motor and the active energy deliveredby the AC network) of a feeder system for a BLDC motor. To make the comparison, two performance criteria were definedbased on the simulation of the system with the converters in ideal mode and in real mode. From the experimental tests itwas observed that as the energy efficiency of the system increases, the THD increases and the power factor seen by the ACnetwork decreases. From the work it was concluded that the Luo converter is the one that presents the best compromisebetween harmonic distortion and energy efficiencyEl objetivo del presente artículo es evaluar el compromiso existente entre la distorsión armónica y la eficienciaenergética de los manejadores para motores de DC sin escobillas, basados en los convertidores Zeta, Luo y Cuk aislados para determinar las ventajas y contribuciones de cada convertidor respecto a la eficiencia energética. Así mismo, la relación que tiene dicha eficiencia con la calidad de la energía eléctrica. Para realizar la evaluación planteada se han utilizado los modelos de los convertidores encontrados en la literatura, como también los modelos de simulación del inversor y del motor encontrados en la herramienta Simscape Electronics del software Matlab. La investigación se centró en comparar el factor de potencia, la distorsión armónica total (THD) y la eficiencia energética (entendida como el cociente entre la energía activa consumida por el motor y la energía activa entregada por la red de AC) de un sistema alimentador para un motor BLDC. Para efectuar la comparación se definieron dos criterios de desempeño basados, respectivamente, en la simulación del sistema con los convertidores en modo ideal y en modo real. De las pruebas experimentales se observó que conforme aumenta la eficiencia energética del sistema aumenta la THD y disminuye el factor de potencia visto por la red de AC. Del trabajo se concluyó que el convertidor Luo es el que presenta el mejor compromiso entre distorsión armónica y eficiencia energética
