Analysis Of Factors Determining Food Purchasing Decisions In Restaurant (Case Study at Marile Takoyaki Restaurant)
The aim of this research is to analyze the factors determining food purchasing decisions through an Online Food Delivery application with the object being Marile Takoyaki Restaurant. The initial factors formed consist of 4 factors, namely price ratio, food quality, service quality, and website quality. The indicators used to explain the price ratio factor are food price, beverage price, and food portion. The food quality factor uses indicators such as delicious taste, nutritious food, the restaurant offering various menu items, the restaurant offering fresh food, very enticing food aroma, and visually appealing food presentation. The service quality factor uses indicators such as employees serving food exactly as ordered, quick and responsive service, employees always willing to help, and employees making customers feel comfortable dealing with them. The website quality factor uses indicators such as information quality, security, and payment system. The sample used in this research is 146 respondents using the purposive sampling method, with the condition that they have made a food purchase from Marile Takoyaki Restaurant through an Online Food Delivery application. This research uses factor analysis with SPSS as the analysis tool. The results of the research found that there are 3 factors determining purchasing decisions, namely, customer experience contributing 49.147%, customer satisfaction contributing 10.505%, and customer perception contributing 6.912%
A Comparative Analyses of Form and Style in the Works of Suowari Jacqueline and Ibim Cookey
This study delves into the artistic realms of Jacqueline Suowari and Ibim Cookey, two remarkable Nigerian visual artists who have carved their unique paths within the contemporary art landscape. Suowari's masterful ball pen artistry and mixed media approach juxtaposed with Cookey's photorealistic pencil renderings, offering a captivating exploration of form and style. Through a meticulous examination of their biographies, creative processes, and 5 works each, totaling 10 artistic expressions, this study aims to unravel the profound narratives embedded within their works. Employing qualitative research methodologies, including library research and critical analysis, this paper navigates the intricate layers of identity, cultural heritage, and socio-political commentary that permeate Suowari's and Cookey's oeuvres. By dissecting the symbolic representations, technical mastery, and thematic underpinnings, this research illuminates the multifaceted roles these artists play in shaping contemporary Nigerian art discourse. Moreover, it delves into the ways in which their artworks serve as potent vehicles for challenging perceptions, fostering dialogue, and celebrating the resilience and beauty of the African diaspora. The research design utilizes both observational and survey methods, while data analysis is conducted using the semiotic descriptive approach. Among various similarities and distinctions, it was revealed that both artists engage in mixed media exploration, indicating the depth and diversity of their artworks. Ultimately, this comprehensive exploration seeks to contribute to the growing body of knowledge surrounding Nigerian visual arts while offering a nuanced appreciation for the transformative power of artistic expression
Visual Effects Analysis in Building Messages Through Sequence in Anti-Hero Music Video
Visual effects are image manipulation and the creation of illusions from shooting that lead the audience to see the illusion of reality in the scenes. Visual effects can dramatize scenes so that messages can be conveyed to the audience. Thus, visual effects that are created in the right context could enhance the overall story. "AntiHero" is a music video that tells a story about nightmares and disturbances in the mind that change situations in real life. As a director and songwriter, taylor swift used visual effects to dramatize the scene through narrative point, so that messages of song's lyric could be conveyed to the audience. This study was conducted to discuss the application of visual effects in building messages through the story stage in the music video "Anti-Hero". This research used qualitative method with purposive sampling approach. The theory used is the theory of visual effects proposed by Eran Dinur. The study was conducted by describing the sequence, song lyrics, and types of visual effects applied from director and songwriter's point of view. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an application of visual effects in the form of morphing, cloning, and giant effects that occur throughout the music video. The application of morphing shows the unreal world and wounds experienced by Taylor at the beginning of the story. The clone effect shows the different nature or "anti-hero" of Taylor Swift. The giant effect shows a different nature in size, making Taylor isolated from those around her. Taylor Swift, as both director and songwriter, utilized visual effects to convey profound messages from the lyric of her song through the narrative of each scene. Swift’s storytelling prowess extends beyond mere narrative planning, as she skillfully integrates various visual effects to enhance the impact of her lyrics. By employing diverse characters, both “good” and “bad Taylor”, with distinct characteristics within her surreal world, Taylor elevates her storytelling to new heights. The seamless integration of visual effects throughout the sequences ensures that the song’s lyrics are effectively conveyed, creating a cohesive and immersive experience for the audience
PENGARUH SOCIAL MEDIA INTERACTIVITY, SOCIAL MEDIA BENEFITS DAN SOCIAL MEDIA REWARD TERHADAP EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENT MELALUI BRAND IMAGE PADA PENGGUNA TIKET.COM DI SURABAYA
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah variabel Social Media Interactivity, Social Media Benefits, dan Social Media Reward memiliki pengaruh terhadap Emotional Attachment melalui Brand Image pada Pengguna Tiket.com di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data primer dengan kuesioner yaitu melalui Google form yang disebarkan menggunakan media sosial Whatsapp, Iine, Instagram, dan lain – lain. Metode penentuan sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode dari penelitian ini menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling. Model pengukuran pada penelitian ini diukur menggunakan aplikasi AMOS 24. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dari hipotesis yang ada menunjukkan bahwa H1: variabel Social Media Interactivity tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Brand Image. H2: Social Media Benefits memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Brand Image. H3: variabel Social Media Reward memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Brand Image. H4: Brand Image memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Emotional Attacment. H5: Brand Image tidak memediasi signifikan pengaruh variabel Social Media Interactivity terhadap Emotional Attachment. H6: Brand Image signifikan memediasi pengaruh variabel Social Media Benefits terhadap Emotional Attachment. H7: Brand Image signifikan memediasi pengaruh variabel Social Media Reward terhadap Emotional Attachment
Impulsive Buying Behavior in Live-Streaming Shopping Mechanism: Do Fear of Missing Out Matter?
The aim of this study is to examine the factors influencing young consumers' impulsive buying behavior during TikTok Shop live-streaming flash sales, focusing on the effects of scarcity, discounts during live-streaming sales (DOLS), and fear of missing out (FoMO). The research targets Generation Y and Z, known for their high engagement with digital platforms. Using the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory, the study explores how these factors interact to drive impulsive purchases. Data were collected from 295 respondents via an online survey and analyzed using SEM-PLS method to assess the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that both scarcity and DOLS significantly heighten FoMO, which acts as a psychological trigger for impulsive buying behavior. FoMO mediates the effect of scarcity and discounts on impulsive purchases, where scarcity creates urgency by limiting product availability, and DOLS entice consumers with time-sensitive deals. Additionally, the interactive nature of live-streaming enhances these effects by enabling real-time engagement with sellers. This study underscores the psychological impact of FoMO in live-stream shopping and provides valuable insights for marketers seeking to optimize social commerce strategies on platforms like TikTok
Examining NCT Dream’s Influence as a Celebrity Endorser on Consumer Purchase Intention: The Mediating Role of Brand Image
Marketers globally are leveraging celebrity endorsers to boost their business, with many Indonesian companies turning to Korean celebrities as endorsers for their products. The aims of this study are to examines the impact of NCT Dream as a celebrity endorser on consumer purchase intention for Tos-Tos snacks. The effectiveness of the celebrity endorser will be evaluated using the TEARS model, which includes trustworthiness, expertise, attractiveness, respect, and similarity. Additionally, the study investigates the mediating role of brand image on the relationship between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention. This study employed a quantitative research method, utilizing questionnaires for data collection, and 100 respondents meeting the criteria were analyzed using statistical procedures. One hundred data from qualified respondents was collected via questionnaires distributed through simple random sampling. The results reveal significant relationships between respect and purchase intention and between brand image and purchase intention. Furthermore, an insignificant relationship happens between trustworthiness, expertise, attractiveness, and similarity and purchase intention. Lastly, the result also shows that brand image mediates the relationship between expertise and purchase intention
Membedah Semiotika dalam Iklan: Pendekatan Roland Barthes pada Iklan IM3 “Dekatkan Jarak, Nyatakan Silaturahmi“
The IM3 advertisement version of “Closer the distance, Declare the friendship” reveals certain connotations that can be in daily expressions and behaviors. The purpose of this research is to analyze the signs in the advertisement using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The method used is qualitative with the main data in the form of video advertisements downloaded from the official IM3 channel on YouTube. The results of the analysis showed that the visual and verbal elements in the advertisement successfully conveyed a message about the importance of communication and family closeness despite generational differences. The implication of this research is that the semiotic approach can enrich the understanding of communication strategies in advertising and can be used to improve the impact of advertising campaigns in the future
PENGOLAHAN KREASI TEKSTIL DENGAN INSPIRASI AROMATHERAPY LAVENDER DAN BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL UNTUK KOLEKSI FESYEN
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengolah tekstil dengan menerjemahkan efek menenangkan dari essential oils lavender dan bergamot ke dalam elemen visual dan tekstural. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menciptakan motif tekstil dan manipulasi kain yang merefleksikan pengalaman sensorik dari kedua aroma tersebut, selaras dengan tren Beautiful Serenity dalam prediksi mode Autumn/Winter 2025/2026.
Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan kuesioner pertanyaan terbuka dan analisis tren untuk memahami bagaimana individu mengasosiasikan aroma lavender dan bergamot dalam bentuk visual yang sesuai dengan tren terkini. Partisipan diberikan stimulus aroma dan diminta menggambarkan emosi serta asosiasi visual yang muncul, yang kemudian diterjemahkan ke dalam desain motif dan manipulasi kain seperti pleats, flounce, dan smocking.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aroma lavender dan bergamot memberikan kesan rileks, tenang, dan segar, yang diwujudkan dalam desain tekstil melalui pemilihan warna pastel, bentuk motif yang mengalir, serta tekstur kain yang berlapis. Studi ini membuktikan bahwa pengalaman olfaktori dapat mempengaruhi desain tekstil, membuka peluang bagi pengembangan mode multisensorial yang mendukung kesejahteraan mental
ANALISA PERAN MEDIA DALAM PENCEGAHAN ROKOK PADA KALANGAN REMAJA
This scientific work focuses on the background of education regarding smoking among teenagers in Indonesia. The influence of smoking on teenagers has grown rapidly, affected by both individual and environmental factors. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to create an educational medium for smoking prevention among early teenagers. The research method used is a literature review. The results show that education through media can be an effective tool in increasing teenagers' understanding of the risks of smoking. Hence, an innovative and interactive approach in health promotion is essential to reduce smoking behavior among teenagers.Karya ilmiah ini berfokus pada latar belakang edukasi mengenai rokok pada remaja di Indonesia. Pengaruh rokok pada anak remaja mulai berkembang pesat dengan adanya faktor yang mempengaruhi secara individu dan lingkungan. Dengan demikian, tujuan pembuatan karya ilmiah ini untuk menciptakan suatu media edukasi sebagai pencegahan merokok pada remaja awal. Metode penelitian berbentuk tinjauan pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa edukasi melalui media dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman remaja mengenai risiko. Dengan itu, perlunya pendekatan yang inovatif dan interaktif dalam promosi kesehatan untuk mengurangi perilaku merokok di kalangan remaja

Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana buku anak, melalui visualisasi dan elemen interaktif, dapat meningkatkan daya ingat pembaca di masa kecil terhadap informasi yang disampaikan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berupa survei online, data dikumpulkan dari 50 responden dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun yang memiliki pengalaman membaca setidaknya 2-5 buku anak di masa kecil mereka. Survei online ini bertujuan untuk memahami pandangan responden tentang buku anak yang mereka baca serta faktor-faktor yang berkontribusiterhadap ingatan mereka saat dewasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa elemen seperti visual yang menarik, penyisipan nilai moral dan edukatif, serta pengalaman membaca interaktif sangat penting dalam membentuk ingatan jangka panjang. Buku anak tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai alat pendidikan yang efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi yang dapat diingat selama bertahun-tahun.
