    Relationship between Waste Cover Area with Physical and Chemical Characteristics of Mangrove Ecosystem in Pulau Dua Nature Reserve, Serang, Banten

    Pulau Dua Nature Reserve has undergone significant changes to its land, affecting its physical and chemical properties. Additionally, the increasing problem of scattered plastic waste raises concerns about its negative impact on the ecosystem. This study aims to analyze the physical and chemical characteristics of Pulau Dua Nature Reserve and examine the relationship between the proportion of plastic waste cover area and environmental parameters. Microclimate, soil, and plastic waste proportion area data, especially plastic, were collected at 34 points using systematic random sampling, while water salinity was measured using accidental sampling because the pools for measuring salinity were not spread throughout the research area. A comparative analysis based on literature review and previous studies with mangrove ecosystems indicates that Pulau Dua’s mangrove vegetation is under threat from various environmental factors. Among these, the proportion of plastic waste cover area has the strongest correlation as moderate positive correlation with bulk density in Pearson Correlation Matrix. Independent Sample T-test comparing plastic waste cover area proportion based on bulk density class confirms that class 4 significantly affects bulk density. In conclusion, several physical and chemical parameters in Pulau Dua Nature Reserve do not align with optimal conditions for mangrove vegetation. The most related factors to plastic waste cover area proportion are bulk density because the indication is that areas covered with plastic waste are areas that are frequently passed by humans, thus increasing the bulk density of the soil. Value of bulk density will significantly different when proportion of plastic waste cover more than 2.5% based on Independent Sample T-test

    TAHAP PERANCANGAN LOGO INSPIRASI (INDONESIA–NTU SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF RESEARCH FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION)

    The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) in collaboration with UGM, UI, ITB, ITS, and NTU Singapore has initiated the INSPIRASI Program (Indonesia–NTU Singapore Institute of Research for Sustainability and Innovation). These five universities, with funding from LPDP, aim to establish centers of excellence to attract researchers, students, and industry partners to create concrete solutions for climate change mitigation and sustainability. INSPIRASI focuses on three main pillars: Renewable Energy, Circular Economy, and Smart Cities, involving aspects of research, education, enterprise, and community. This design-based research aims to produce the INSPIRASI logo and brand guidelines. The method used is descriptive qualitative, and the logo design method follows Robin Landa's 5-stage model: Orientation, Analysis, Concept Design, Design, and Implementation. The logo design is inspired by the international Atom Symbol, depicting three well-defined electron orbits around a nucleus. The three electron orbits represent the three main pillars, while the atom's nucleus represents the aspects of research, education, enterprise, and community.Kemdikbud bekerja sama dengan UGM, UI, ITB, ITS, and NTU Singapore menggagas Program INSPIRASI (Indonesia–NTU Singapore Institute of Research for Sustainability and Innovation) 5 universitas tersebut dengan pendanaan dari LPDP. Program ini melibatkan pembentukan pusat keunggulan, bertujuan untuk menarik peneliti, mahasiswa, dan mitra industri guna menghasilkan solusi konkret dalam mitigasi perubahan iklim dan sustainability.     Identifying the Meaning of Colors as Design Information for Design Tools: A Systematic Literature Review

    The meaning of colors has been widely researched in various disciplines. In design, understanding the contextual meaning of color influences design decisions and, hence, is important design information. This research aimed to compile information about the meaning of colors that can be used as design information in design tools so that users can choose the right color palette. This research used a qualitative approach by conducting a contextual document review of reference books about color. Data collection was carried out by identifying relevant data regarding the meaning of colors. The data collected included color association, positive-negative meanings, and cultural links. Although the information derived from these three sources varied in terms of information themes, we could observe some consistent meanings shared by the sources. This research output can be implemented as design information in design tools such as web-based color palette generation applications, graphic design tools and others. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide comprehensive guidance in choosing an appropriate color palette based on the meaning of the colors contained

    Striking a Balance Between Nature and Development: Investigating Private Green Spaces using ENVI-met

    This research investigated the significant effects of private green spaces on air temperatures in Bekasi City. Previous analyses suggested that green spaces could lower air temperatures. Meanwhile, private green spaces, consisting of front and back yards, are a significant part of the concept. Software simulation (ENVI-met) was used to compare several housing scenarios for the tropical monsoon climate of Bekasi City. The scenarios consisted of housing configurations with the same unit size and number in an area of (49 x 49) m2. The results showed that the average air temperature reduction was mostly insignificant. On December 21, the scenarios with the highest and lowest average air temperatures differed by 0.42 ℃ at noon. In this context, the scenario with the most area of green space did not possess the lowest air temperature, due to the increase in building and pavement areas. Wind, sun position, surface area, and type of exposed area affected the outdoor air temperature. Further research could be conducted on innovations, especially regarding building and pavement materials to mitigate air temperature increases

    Optimasi kapasitas area parkir diperlukan untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan ruang, mencegah blocking pada taxiway yang mengganggu operasional MRO, dan mengurangi resiko terjadinya tabrakan antar wingtip pada saat terjadi kepadatan di area parkir. Namun, penerapan metode No-Fit Polygon (NFP) yang dikembangkan pada penelitian sebelumnya masih menghasilkan pola parkir pesawat yang saling tumpang tindih dan kurang optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengusulkan metode kombinasi No-Fit Polygon untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini diawali dengan membuat model grafis pesawat dan membuat NFP antara 2 pesawat menggunakan persamaan geometri berdasarkan data geometri pesawat. NFP yang dihasilkan kemudian dikombinasikan dan kapasitas area parkir dioptimalkan menggunakan Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) dengan pemrograman Python berdasarkan geometri area parkir pesawat yang digunakan. Hasil optimasi menunjukkan pesawat dengan luas yang lebih kecil dapat ditempatkan dengan jumlah lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan pesawat dengan luas yang lebih besar, sehingga kapasitas area parkir meningkat sebanyak 3.75% dari 8 menjadi 11 pesawat tanpa safety margin. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode kombinasi NFP dapat digunakan untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan area parkir tanpa terjadi tumpang tindih meskipun tanpa penambahan safety margin

    Examining the Correlation between Contractual Elements and Construction Project Performance; A Comprehensive Study of Case Studies in Educational Building Projects

    Buildings constitute the primary infrastructure supporting the effective execution of learning activities within higher education environments. The quality of these buildings is a paramount concern for all stakeholders involved. However, ensuring high-quality construction remains a challenge in building projects. Improving project performance requires construction contract documentation that comprehensively outlines the rights and responsibilities of the parties involved in the project. This research aims to identify the characteristics and relationships among contractual aspects, contract management, and project performance, focusing on improving the quality of construction projects, particularly within higher education institutions. This research applies an exploratory qualitative approach to achieve that goal. The data used results from structured interviews with stakeholders from five universities as study objects. The data processing stages consist of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding, as well as exploring the relationship between research variables using regression analysis. The study revealed three primary project characteristics in higher education institutions: contractual aspects, contract management, and project performance. Key elements within these groups include contract standards, organizational factors, and contract control. Notably, a significant negative correlation between contracts and project performance indicates that issues within contract-related aspects and management adversely impact project outcomes. The findings underscore the importance of effectively managing the involvement of multiple stakeholders in construction projects. Collaborative management between stakeholders and project management is essential for ensuring project success, particularly in quality monitoring, adherence to timelines, and profitability

    Green hotels are one of the products of sustainable tourism. The theory of planned behavior (TPB) could be a valuable approach for understanding consumer behavior, including visitors' preferences for eco-friendly choices. By looking at sociopsychological components, TPB makes a difference in anticipation, such as tourists' choices to visit green goals or remain eco-friendly. This study aims to examine consumer behavior regarding their interest in staying at a green inn, using the theory of planned behavior (TPB). The research focused on testing the variables of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control on customer purchase intention. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire analyzed by SEM-PLS to determine the causal relationship among latent variables contained in the structural equation with a sample of 121 people who stayed or had stayed at Hyatt Regency Hotel Yogyakarta. The research shows that there is a significant influence among the variables of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control on customer purchase intention.  Green hotel merupakan salah satu produk pariwisata berkelanjutan. Teori Perilaku yang Terencana (TPB) dapat menjadi pendekatan yang berguna untuk memahami perilaku konsumen, termasuk preferensi pengunjung terhadap pilihan ramah lingkungan. Dengan mempertimbangkan faktor sosiopsikologis, TPB dapat membantu memprediksi secara lebih akurat keputusan pengunjung untuk mengunjungi destinasi ramah lingkungan atau menginap di akomodasi ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggunakan TPB untuk mengamati perilaku konsumen yang berminat menginap di hotel ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menyelidiki variabel sikap, norma subjektif, dan kontrol perilaku yang dirasakan terkait dengan niat membeli konsumen. Untuk mengetahui hubungan sebab akibat antar variabel laten yang dimasukkan dalam persamaan struktural, data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang dianalisis menggunakan SEM-PLS. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 121 orang yang menginap atau pernah menginap di Hotel Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta.     Enhancing Budgeting Preparation Quality through Information Technology: A Casual Study on Motivation’s Moderating Effect

    This study aims to determine and analyze the causal factors that contribute to the quality of budget preparation of the regional government budget (APBD). This causal study with motivation as a moderating variable employed 76 respondents from 34 sub-regional administrative units (SKPD) in Medan, Indonesia, using a saturated sample. Utilizingstructural equation modelling (SEM) with Smart-PLS, this study concludes that human resource competence and the use of information technology have a significant effect on the quality of APBD preparation. Motivation as a moderating variable does not exhibit a causal factor between the other two variables.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas penyusunan Anggaran Pendapatan Belanja Daerah (APBD) dengan motivasi sebagai variabel moderating di kota Medan. Penelitian ini memiliiki populasi sebanyak 76 orang responden dari 34 SKPD di kota Medan. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh, dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) menggunakan Smart-PLS. Penelitian ini mengahsilkan bahwa kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas penyusunan APBD, sedangkan variabel motivasi tidak dapat memoderasi terhadap kualitas penyusunan APBD di kota Medan

    EVALUASI PENYIMPANAN OBAT HIGH ALERT DI GUDANG DAN APOTEK RAWAT INAP DI INSTALASI FARMASI RUMAH SAKIT JIWA DAERAH PROVINSI JAMBI

    The storage of high alert medications at the Regional Mental Hospital (RSJD) of Jambi Province is a crucial aspect of healthcare that impacts patient safety. This study aims to evaluate the compliance of high alert medication storage in the warehouse and inpatient pharmacy of RSJD Jambi Province based on the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The research was based on observation with a qualitative descriptive approach, where data is collected through a checklist containing indicators of storage compliance. The results show that all storage procedures for high alert medications have been implemented effectively, with a compliance percentage of 100%. The medications are stored separately from other drugs, in accordance with FIFO and FEFO principles, and are clearly labeled. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the management of high alert medications at RSJD Jambi Province has met the established standards, thereby minimizing the risk of errors in medication handling.Penyimpanan obat high alert di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah (RSJD) Provinsi Jambi merupakan aspek penting dalam pelayanan kesehatan yang berpengaruh terhadap keselamatan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian penyimpanan obat high alert di gudang dan apotek rawat inap RSJD Provinsi Jambi berdasarkan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang berlaku. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasional dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui lembar checklist yang berisi indikator kesesuaian penyimpanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh prosedur penyimpanan obat high alert telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, dengan persentase kesesuaian mencapai 100%. Penyimpanan dilakukan secara terpisah dari obat lainnya, sesuai dengan prinsip FIFO dan FEFO, serta dilengkapi dengan penandaan yang jelas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengelolaan obat high alert di RSJD Provinsi Jambi telah memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan, sehingga dapat meminimalisasi risiko kesalahan dalam penanganan obat

    Purwarupa Alat Bantu Penuang Gelas Ukur 100 ml Menggunakan Motor Servo Berbasis Mikrokontroler

    Pouring liquid from a measuring cylinder requires careful consideration of the appropriate tilt angle to achieve optimal emptying conditions. Drip time and emptying time are critical parameters for maximizing pouring efficiency. This study presents the design of a microcontroller-based system to automate the pouring process of a measuring cylinder. The developed prototype utilizes an MG996R servo motor as the actuator and an Arduino Uno microcontroller as the control unit. The system comprises two main components: a servo motor-based mechanical pouring structure and microcontroller-based automation software. The initial phase involved designing the structure using 3D modelling software, manufacturing, and manual assembly. Simulations were conducted using SolidWorks software. Experimental results showed that the liquid pouring time at a 120° angle was 9.89 seconds with a 4.76% error, at 150° was 12.38 seconds with a 3.78% error, and at 170° was 13.97 seconds with a 2.73% error. The total emptying time for a 100 ml measuring cylinder was recorded at 62.69 seconds with a 0.81% error.Penuangan cairan dari gelas ukur harus memperhatikan sudut kemiringan yang tepat untuk mencapai kondisi pengosongan yang optimal. Waktu tetes dan waktu pengosongan menjadi parameter penting untuk memaksimalkan efisiensi penuangan. Penelitian ini merancang sebuah sistem otomasi penuangan gelas ukur berbasis mikrokontroler. Purwarupa yang dikembangkan menggunakan servo MG996R sebagai aktuator penggerak gelas ukur dan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno sebagai unit kendali. Sistem terdiri dari dua komponen utama: struktur mekanik alat bantu penuang berbasis motor servo dan perangkat lunak otomasi berbasis mikrokontroler. Tahap awal meliputi perancangan struktur menggunakan perangkat lunak pemodelan 3D, dilanjutkan dengan proses manufaktur dan perakitan manual. Simulasi dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SolidWorks. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan waktu penuangan cairan pada sudut 120° selama 9,89 detik dengan tingkat kesalahan 4,76%, pada sudut 150° selama 12,38 detik dengan kesalahan 3,78%, dan pada sudut 170° selama 13,97 detik dengan kesalahan 2,73%. Waktu pengosongan total gelas ukur 100 ml tercatat selama 62,69 detik dengan kesalahan 0,81%
