The Potential of a Low-Cost Thermal Camera for Early Detection of Temperature Changes in Virus-Infected Chili Plants
One effect of viral infection on plant physiology is increased stomata closure so that the transpiration rate is low, which in turn causes an increase in leaf temperature. Changes in plant leaf temperature can be measured by thermography using high-resolution thermal cameras. The results can be used as an indicator of virus infection, even before the appearance of visible symptoms. However, the higher the sensor resolution of the thermal camera, the more expensive it is, which is an obstacle in developing the method more widely. This article describes the potential of thermography in detecting Tobacco mosaic virus infection in chili-pepper plants using a low-cost camera. A FLIR C2 camera was used to record images of plants in two treatment groups, non-inoculated (V0) and virus-inoculated plants (V1). Significantly, V1 had a lower temperature at 8 and 12 days after inoculation (dai) than those of V0, but their temperature was higher than V0 before symptoms were visible, i.e., at 17 dai. Thermography using low-cost thermal cameras has potency to detect early viral infection at 8 dai with accuracy levels (AUC) of 80.0% and 86.5% based on k-Nearest Neighbors and Naïve Bayes classifiers, respectively
Penentuan Faktor Koreksi Panjang Loncatan Hidrolik pada Kolam Peredam Energi Tipe Bucket
Abstrak
Pada kolam olak tipe bucket, jari-jari (R) mempengaruhi loncatan hidrolik. Faktor koreksi panjang loncatan yang dipengaruhi oleh jari-jari kolam bucket. Nilai tersebut dapat digunakan menentukan panjang atau luas area pengamanan hilir sungai agar tidak terjadi tergerusan. Uji model fisik dilakukan dengan flum, panjangnya 4,1 m, lebar flume 0,15 m dan tinggi flume 0,24 m. Maka 3 variasi jari-jari kolam olak yaitu R1 = 6 cm, R2 = 7 cm dan R3 = 8 cm kemudian dialirkan air dengan 27 variasi percobaan. Diukur tinggi muka air diatas mercu bendung (Hd), saat meloncat (y1), setelah meloncat (y2) dan panjang loncatan hidrolik (Lj), didapatkan tinggi air saat meloncat (y1) dan bilangan Froude (Fr). Dengan memodifikasi persamaan Silvester (σ = 3,0 dan Ƞ = 1,17). panjang loncatan hidrolik mendekati hasil observasi dengan tingkat kesalahan relatif ΔE = 25,8%, NSE = 0,9, MAE = 6,0 dan RMSE = 3,1.

This value can be used to determine the length or area of the river downstream safeguard area so that erosion does not occur. The physical model test was carried out with a flume, the length of which was 4.1 m, the flume width was 0.15 m and the flume height was 0.24 m. Then 3 variations of the radius of the stilling pond, namely R1 = 6 cm, R2 = 7 cm and R3 = 8 cm then water was flowed with 27 experimental variations. Measured the water level above the crest of the weir (Hd), when jumping (y1), after jumping (y2) and the length of the hydraulic jump (Lj), obtained the water height when jumping (y1) and the Froude number (Fr). By modifying Silvester's equation (σ = 3.0 and Ƞ = 1.17). hydraulic jump length is close to the observed results with relative error rates ΔE = 25.8%, NSE = 0.9, MAE = 6.0 and RMSE = 3.1.

Dynamics of A Discrete-Time Ecogenetic Predator-Prey Model
This article considers a discrete-time model of two genetically distinguished predator population and one prey population. The existence and nature of the boundary and positive fixed points are examined. The sufficient criterion for Neimark-Sacker bifurcation (NSB) is derived. It is observed that the system behaves in a chaotic way when a specific set of system parameters is selected, which are controlled by a hybrid control method. Examples are presented to illustrate our conclusions
Curving Performance Analysis of a Freight Train Transporting 50-Meter-long Rail Using Multibody Dynamics Simulation
Long rails are normally used in highspeed railways to minimize the number of rail joints and the dynamic impact force that follows. However, transporting long rails using a freight train requires multiple wagons for each rail section, presenting potential safety and loading gauge issues, especially when going through curves. Thus, a safety assessment needs to be done prior to actual transport. Computational simulation can be used for preliminary assessment. Finite element analysis can be used to incorporate the flexibility of the rails into the analysis but requires significant manpower and computer power to perform. In this study, an alternative method to model rail flexibility using a multibody approach is presented. The rails are sectioned into multiple rigid bodies along their length and interconnected using rotational joints. The stiffness coefficient of the joints is defined as a function of the actual rail’s physical properties. This modelling technique results in a simplified multibody model that retains the original rail elastic properties. Simulations of the constructed rail model hauled using a freight train were done and the results were compared to on-track test measurements of the same configuration. The comparison generally showed good agreement, showing this modelling technique’s ability and accuracy to simulate the case
Perancangan Sistem Closure pada Adaptive Clothing untuk Orang dengan Demensia (ODD) Tahap Moderate
Adaptive clothing is one of the media to optimize the living conditions of people with dementia (PwD), which can solve the problem of undressing in social situations, is friendly for caregivers, and is suitable for the physical and psychological conditions of PwD. The method used is qualitative with a comparative approach by researching closure systems for adaptive clothing in the online market. This research produces design recommendations based on the type, development, and comparison of closure systems on adaptive clothing on the market. Adaptive clothing products are expected to stimulate or train memory, reduce anxiety, improve quality of life, and facilitate caregivers in caregiving.Salah satu media untuk pengoptimalan kondisi hidup orang dengan demensia (ODD) adalah adaptive clothing yang mampu memecahkan permasalahan membuka pakaian dalam situasi sosial secara tiba-tiba (undressing), mempermudah caregivers dalam perawatan, serta disesuaikan dengan kondisi fisik dan psikologis ODD. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi desain berdasarkan jenis, pengembangan, dan perbandingan sistem closure pada pakaian adaptif yang ada di pasaran. Produk pakaian adaptif diharapkan dapat menstimulasi atau melatih daya ingat, mengurangi kecemasan, meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan memudahkan caregiver dalam perawatan
Persfektif Ruang Kalkulasi Dalam Implementasi Parkir Elektronik (E-Parking) di Jalan Braga Kota Bandung
The on-street parking retribution generates a significant income for Bandung City’s local revenue. At the implementation level, agents who directly relate to the public (street-level bureaucrats) produce behavior contrary to the policy’s objective. In developing this behavior, the agent performs calculations that, in the process, involve non-human materials. This study will show how agents calculate space when dealing with the dilemmas faced in the practice of the e-parking parking policy. This study uses a qualitative method with the theoretical framework of Actor-Network Theory (ANT) as an analytical tool to describe the role of actors from both human and non-human perspectives in the calculation space. From the perspective of the calculation space, several concerns can be explored and considered in the implementation of the e-parking policy. Not even at street-level bureaucrats, behaviors contrary to objectives also occur at the agent level. The recommendation policy can be improved by considering the heterogeneous associations between human and non-human actors and the calculations and translations that occur through these heterogeneous associations.Retribusi parkir tepi jalan umum di Kota Bandung menyumbang pendapatan yang signifikan terhadap APBD. Di tingkat implementasi agen yang bersentuhan langsung dengan masyarakat (street level-bureaucrats) menghasilkan perilaku yang bertolak belakang dengan tujuan kebijakan tersebut dibuat. Dalam mengembangkan perilaku tersebut agen melakukan kalkulasi-kalkulasi yang pada prosesnya melibatkan material non-manusia. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menguraikan bagaimana ruang kalkulasi yang dilakukan oleh agen dalam proses menghadapi dilema-dilema yang dihadapi dilapangan dalam kebijakan parkir elektronik di tepi jalan umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan kerangka teoritis Actor Network Theory (ANT) sebagai alat analisis untuk mendeskripsikan peran aktor baik dari unsur manusia maupun unsur non-manusia dalam persfektif ruang kalkulasi. Melalui perspektif ruang kalkulasi dapat ditelusuri berbagai hal yang menjadi penilaian dan pertimbangan, translasi-translasi, dalam implementasi kebijakan parkir elektronik di tepi jalan umum. Tidak hanya pada agen yang bersentuhan langsung dengan masyarakat, perilaku yang bertolak belakang dengan tujuan juga terjadi pada tingkat agen yang lain. Direkomendasikan bahwa kebijakan diperbaiki dengan memperhatikan asosiasi- asosiasi heterogen antara aktor-aktor manusia dan non-manusia, serta kalkulasi dan serangkaian translasi yang terjadi melalui asosiasi heterogen tersebut

This study aims to determine Generation Z’s e-loyalty toward purchasing food via online services. Discounts, shipping charges, and online reviews were the study’s independent variables; the switching cost variable served as the study’s intermediary variable. SEM is an analytical technique that is employed with the aid of smartPLS software. 265 samples from the Generation Z, ranging in age from 15 to 26, were used in this study. The samples were from Bandung and Jabodetabek. The findings indicate that the bulk of the independent variables have an impact on the intervening and dependent variables, including variables that affect switching costs and e-loyalty, such as discounts, shipping costs, and online reviews. However, e-loyalty is unaffected by the fluctuating discount and switching costs. The independent variables that determine the loyalty of the z generation are the study’s limitations; hence, it is advised that further research be conducted using independent variables and alternative methodologies.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui e-loyalty Generasi Z terhadap pembelian makanan melalui layanan online. Diskon, biaya pengiriman, dan ulasan online adalah variabel independen penelitian; variabel biaya peralihan berfungsi sebagai variabel perantara studi. SEM adalah teknik analisis yang digunakan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak smartPLS. 265 sampel dari generasi Z, mulai dari usia 15 sampai 26 tahun, digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel berasal dari Bandung dan Jabodetabek. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar variabel independen berdampak pada variabel intervening dan dependen, termasuk variabel yang mempengaruhi biaya peralihan dan loyalitas, seperti diskon, biaya pengiriman, dan ulasan online. Namun, loyalitas tidak terpengaruh oleh diskon yang berfluktuasi dan biaya peralihan. Variabel independen yang menentukan loyalitas generasi z merupakan keterbatasan penelitian, oleh karena itu disarankan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan menggunakan variabel independen dan metodologi alternatif
Mengamati Bintang, Pengetahuan Merespon Bencana: Belajar dari Tuntunan Para Leluhur di Sinar Resmi Sukabumi
Agricultural practices must consider seasonal variations and natural conditions. Astronomy, which involves studying celestial movements, plays a crucial role in this regard. Individuals who possess the knowledge to decipher celestial motions have historically contributed to the advancement of civilizations worldwide. Consequently, the presence of astronomers specializing in astrology is essential. The global agricultural civilization experienced rapid growth before the emergence of the industrial civilization. In the current era of globalization, traditional agricultural systems based on astronomical observations are being abandoned. The adoption of foreign planting techniques has led to a neglect of the indigenous wisdom and knowledge passed down through generations. Over time, our ancestors’ local knowledge has gradually faded away. However, the indigenous people of Sinar Resmi, Sukabumi, continue to rely on star observations in their rice farming practices, particularly as a response to natural disasters. This study aims to demonstrate that rice farmers can effectively respond to natural disasters by observing the stars. It employs an oral tradition approach to describe the role of star observations in rice farming, focusing on case studies from the Sinar Resmi community in Sukabumi and other indigenous populations. The findings suggest that star observations in rice farming remain relevant for mitigating the risk of crop failure during natural disasters. The significance of astronomical observations and their inherent value lies in their ability to maintain order and stability in agrarian societies.Pertanian yang baik haruslah mempertimbangkan musim dan keadaan alam. Relasi yang kuat terkait hal itu adalah astronomi, mengamati pergerakan bintang. Peradaban tiap wilayah di dunia menjadi berkembang dengan bantuan orang-orang yang mampu memahami dan memaknai setiap pergerakan benda-benda langit. Artinya, keberadaan astronom sebagai orang yang menguasai perbintangan menjadi sangat penting. Peradaban agraris di seluruh dunia menjadi tumbuh pesat sebelum tergantikan oleh peradaban industri. Kini, era globalisasi, sistem pertanian dengan mengamati bintang mulai ditinggalkan. Sistem tanam pun mulai mengadopsi asing. Petani mulai mengesampingkan indegeneous knowledge. Kearifan lokal dari leluhur tergerus zaman. Namun, masyarakat adat Sinar Resmi, Sukabumi sampai dengan saat ini masih berpatokan pada peredaran bintang dalam pertanian padi terutama untuk merespon bencana. Tujuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan mengamati bintang dalam pertanian padi mampu merespon bencana. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan tradisi lisan studi ini menguraikan pengamatan bintang dalam pertanian padi, berbasis tradisi lisan, dalam menghadapi bencana. Studi kasus yang diangkat masyarakat adat Sinar Resmi, Sukabumi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa mengamati bintang dalam pertanian padi dipandang masih relevan untuk merespon bencana sehingga risiko gagal panen dapat diminimalisir. Pengamatan dan perbendaharaan astronomi pun menjadi penting karena dapat mendukung tatanan masyarakat agraris
Pengaruh Service Experience dan Service Quality terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan yang Dimoderasi oleh Kepuasan Pelanggan di Fitness Center Khusus Wanita di Kota Bandung
People now realize the importance of health as an investment for the future. This is marked by the development of a fitness center in Bandung. Women are quite selective in choosing a place to do their physical activity. Not all women are comfortable exercising in places mixed with the opposite sex. Service experience and service quality are two strategic variables that are important in increasing competitiveness. The objective of this research is to observe the moderating effect of customer satisfaction of service experience and service quality on customer loyalty. This research was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 253 respondents (customers) who are actively doing sports at a women's fitness center. The process of quantitative analysis using simple regression method, multiple linear regression and MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis) analysis. The results show that the variable customer satisfaction moderates service experience and service quality on customer loyalty by 27.8% and 34.8%, respectively. Results of this study showed customer satisfaction is moderating variabel on service experience and service quality to customer loyalty.

Hal tersebut ditandai dengan berkembangnya fitness center di Kota Bandung. Wanita ini cukup selektif dalam memilih tempat untuk melakukan aktivitas fisiknya. Tidak semua wanita nyaman berolahraga di tempat yang bercampur dengan lawan jenis. Service experience dan service quality yakni dua variabel strategi yang penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing. Penelitian dilakukan sebagai usaha untuk melihat dampak service experience dan service quality pada loyalitas pelanggan yang dimoderasi oleh kepuasan pelanggan. Sebanyak 253 kuesioner disebarkan kepada responden, yaitu pelanggan aktif melakukan olahraga di fitness center khusus wanita. Analisis kuantitatif yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana, regresi linear berganda dan analisis MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis). Hasil membuktikan variabel kepuasan pelanggan memoderasi service experience dan service quality kepada loyalitas pelanggan masing-masing sebesar 27,8% dan 34,8%.
