Audit Energi Menggunakan Intensitas Konsumsi Energi untuk Konservasi Energi di Gedung Kampus
Energy auditing is an essential step in optimizing energy use in commercial buildings. This research explores the application of energy auditing with the Energy Consumption Intensity method to improve energy efficiency in campus buildings. Considering the changes in occupancy and activity patterns in the university environment can provide a comprehensive insight into the associated energy consumption patterns. The audit analyzed the building's energy consumption and identified potential energy savings to improve energy efficiency. Energy data was collected and analyzed to evaluate the building's energy performance. Recommended energy conservation measures include updating the lighting system, optimizing the cooling system, and improving the efficiency of equipment use. This research recommends that campus building managers adopt sustainable practices in energy management, which can lead to reduced operational costs and lower environmental impacts. Thus, the energy audit approach with the IKE method is a relevant and effective strategy for achieving energy conservation goals in the university environment. Based on the analysis, the latest IKE for Labtek V is 38.01 (2021), while the IKE for Labtek VI is 16.75 (2021), showing inefficiency of energy use in both buildings inefficient.Audit energi merupakan langkah penting dalam optimisasi penggunaan energi di bangunan komersial. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan audit energi dengan metode Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi energi di gedung kampus. Pertimbangan perubahan dalam pola hunian dan aktivitas di lingkungan universitas dapat memberikan wawasan menyeluruh terhadap pola konsumsi energi yang terkait. Audit dilakukan dengan menganalisis konsumsi energi gedung dan mengidentifikasi potensi penghematan energi guna meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi. Data energi dikumpulkan dan dianalisis untuk mengevaluasi kinerja energi gedung. Langkah konservasi energi yang direkomendasikan mencakup pembaruan sistem pencahayaan, optimasi sistem pendinginan, dan peningkatan efisiensi penggunaan peralatan. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengelola gedung kampus dalam mengadopsi praktik-praktik berkelanjutan dalam manajemen energi, yang dapat mengurangi biaya operasional dan dampak lingkungan yang lebih rendah. Dengan demikian, pendekatan audit energi dengan metode IKE menjadi strategi yang relevan dan efektif dalam mencapai tujuan konservasi energi di lingkungan universitas. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh IKE terbaru untuk Labtek V adalah 38,01 (2021), sedangkan IKE untuk Labtek VI adalah 16,75 (2021). Hal ini mengartikan bahwa penggunaan energi pada kedua gedung tersebut belum efisien. Potensi penghematan dalam mengurangi pemakaian energi gedung didapatkan sebesar 6,6964%
Manajemen Pembinaan Prestasi Futsal Kota Semarang dalam Persiapan Menghadapi PORPROV Jawa Tengah Tahun 2023
Futsal is a sport that comes from Spanish, namely futbol sala, which is called indoor football, but in its development, futsal was not only done indoors but also outdoors; even on artificial turf, the sport could be played. Semarang is one of the cities that has very high interest in futsal, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of young people and adults for futsal events in the city of Semarang, one of which is the Central Java PORPROV (Inter-Provincial Sports Week) event in 2023. This research is included in qualitative research using descriptive data analysis techniques. The collection technique is a technique carried out by researchers when conducting research. The data collection techniques carried out in this study were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. fostering futsal achievements in Semarang City in the form of the Semarang City AFK League, starting from the U-17 age group to the U-19 age group. The AFK League in Semarang City itself has two divisions for men and one for women. The Semarang City AFK League has been running since the previous management. The conclusion in this study is that the management of achievement development has gone well, with support from management in the form of providing good facilities and infrastructure and recruiting trainers who are experienced and have certificates.Futsal adalah salah satu cabang olahraga yang berasal dari Bahasa Spanyol, yaitu futbol sala yang disebut sepakbola dalam ruangan, namun dalam perkembangannya, futsal tidak hanya dilakukan didalam ruangan saja namun juga di luar ruangan bahkan di rumput sintetis olahraga tersebut bisa dimainkan. Semarang adalah salah satu kota yang memiliki peminat yang sangat tinggi terhadap olahraga futsal, dibuktikan dengan banyaknya antusias anak-anak muda maupun orang dewasa terhadap event-event futsal di Kota Semarang salah satunya adalah event PORPROV (Pekan Olahraga antar Provinsi) Jawa Tengah tahun 2023. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif yang menggunaakan Teknik analisis data deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan adalah teknik yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada saat melakukan penelitian. Teknik pengambilan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini merupakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. pembinaan prestasi futsal di Kota Semarang berupa diadakannya Liga AFK Kota Semarang mulai dari kelompok umur U-17 sampai kelompok umur U-19. Liga AFK Kota Semarang sendiri memiliki 2 divisi untuk yang putra, dan 1 divisi untuk yang putri. Liga AFK Kota Semarang sudah dijalankan semenjak dari kepengurusan sebelumnya. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah manajemen pembinaan prestasi telah berjalan dengan baik, dukungan dari manajemen berupa pemberian sarana dan prasarana yang baik, perekrutan pelatih yang berpengalaman dan memiliki sertifikat
INSTALLING A SMALL-SCALE SOLAR POWER SYSTEM AS AN ALTERNATIVE ELECTRICITY SOURCE FORM RENEWABLE ENERGY AT SUKAWIJAYA VILLAGE
This paper describes a community service activity on installing a small-scale solar power system at Sukawijaya Village as an energy conversion system from solar energy to electricity that is ready to use for public. The activity began with a field survey to observe intensity of sunlight exposure as well as possible location suitable for placing the solar panels. Since the electricity network of state company is already exist in this village, it is decided to install on- grid solar panels to support the electricity usage of the community. Polycrystalline 600 Wp solar panels are installed on light steel supporting frames in open space accompanied by a 1000 W grid-tie inverter, some electrical protections, and other complementary electrical devices arranged in a panel box. PVSyst software is then used to simulate the operations of the installed solar power system. The simulation results conclude that the solar power system has performance ratio of 80% and may produce 858 kWh electricity per year. Last but not least, a workshop on the function, working principle, and maintenance of the solar power system is also conducted as a means of educating the public. The small-scale solar power system which has been installed at Sukawijaya Village would be beneficial not only as an electricity source but also as a means of educational tourism
Sifat Mekanis Kayu Salam Pada Kondisi Layan Basah
Abstract
The abundance of salam wood on the island of Java is an attraction for its use as a construction material. However, there is not much scientific information regarding the mechanical properties of salam wood. This study aims to identify some of the main mechanical properties of salam wood with destructive tests referring to ASTM D143 including tests for static bending, compression parallel to the grain, compression perpendicular to the grain, and shear, as well as physical properties of wood including density, specific gravity, and moisture content. Salam wood with small test samples free of defects in wet and air dry service conditions referring to SNI 7973:2013. The stress value generated in each test by air dry wood has a greater value than that of wet wood. In general, the wet service factor of the test results is not in accordance with the SNI value, but the static bending test for both MOE and MOR produces values that are close to the values required by SNI. Wet service conditions have a significant effect on the strength value of wood.Abstrak
Kelimpahan kayu salam di pulau Jawa menjadi daya tarik untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai material kosntruksi. Namun belum banyak informasi ilmiah mengenai sifat mekanis kayu salam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi beberapa sifat dasar utama mekanis kayu salam dengan pengujian destruktif yang mengacu pada ASTM D143 meliputi pengujian lentur statis, tekan sejajar serat, tekan tegak lurus serat, dan geser, serta sifat fisis kayu meliputi kerapatan, berat jenis, serta kadar air kayu salam dengan contoh uji kecil bebas cacat pada kondisi layan basah dan kering udara yang mengacu pada SNI 7973:2013. Nilai tegangan yang dihasilkan pada tiap-tiap pengujian oleh kayu dengan kadar air kering udara memiliki nilai yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kayu basah. Secara umum faktor layan basah hasil pengujian tidak sesuai dengan nilai SNI, namun pengujian lentur baik MOE maupun MOR menghasilkan nilai yang mendekati nilai yang disyaratkan SNI. Kondisi layan basah berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai kekuatan kayu
Kajian Eksploratori Hubungan Praktik Komunikasi dan Hasil Proyek Konstruksi di Sumatera Barat
Communication management is considered as an important factor related to performance improvement in construction projects. This study aims to identify and determine communication management practices (CMP) in construction projects correlated to project outcomes (PO). Data were obtained from 209 questionnaires distributed to contractors and consultants in the West Sumatra province. The research questionnaire was divided into two components the respondent's profile and four PMK factors, namely Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Communication Skills and Competence (CSC), Communication Management Plan (CMP) and Team Work (TW). Each factor has 4-5 statement items. In terms of project results, it was seen from the project scope, cost, time, quality and safety level. Data were analyzed using Principle Axis Factoring (PAF). The next analysis was the Spearman correlation to evaluate the relationship between each CMP factor and PO. The results showed that there was a strong positive correlation between the three CMP factors (ICT, CSC and TW) and PO. Conversely, no relationship was found between the CMP factor and PO. The may not be fully generalized due to some limitations. However, it helps construction practitioners to recognize the communication aspects that could be improved and strengthened to increase performance of the project.Manajemen komunikasi dianggap sebagai faktor penting yang terkait dengan peningkatan kinerja dalam proyek konstruksi. Penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan menentukan praktik manajemen komunikasi mana yang berhubungan dengan hasil proyek (project outcome)(HP). Data diperoleh dari 209 kuisioner yang diedarkan pada praktisi konstruksi (kontraktor dan konsultan) di propinsi Sumatera Barat. Kuisioner penelitian terbagi atas dua komponen yaitu pertanyaan berkaitan dengan profil responden dan empat faktor PMK yaitu Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), Keterampilan dan Kompetensi Komunikasi (KKK), Rencana Manajemen Komunikasi (RMK) dan Kerja Tim (KJT). Masing masing faktor memiliki 4-5 item pernyataan. Sementara itu dari sisi hasil proyek dilihat dari skop proyek, biaya, waktu, kualitas dan tingkat keselamatan. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Principle Axis Factoring (PAF). Analisa berikutnya adalah korelasi Spearman untuk melihat hubungan antara masing-masing faktor PMK dengan HP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi positif yang kuat antara tiga faktor PMK, yaitu faktor TIK, faktor KKK dan faktor KJT dengan HP. Sementara tidak ditemukan hubungan antara faktor RMK dengan HP. Hasil penelitian ini belum dapat digeneralisasi karena batasan-batasan yang belum terinvestigasi. Walaupun demikian, ini memberi sinyal pada praktisi konstruksi bahwa peningkatan dan penguatan terhadap aspek-aspek komunikasi dapat memberikan hasil yang positif pula pada proyek
Analisis Numerik Pengaruh Beban Hujan dan Gempa pada Stabilitas Lereng Tanah Tak Jenuh
Abstract
Rain and earthquake affect the stability of the slope. Rain results in infiltration on the slope which causes a decrease in negative pore water pressure on the slope and increases the groundwater level. Meanwhile, the seismic load from earthquake causes deformation on the slopes. Slope will experience even more critical condition if the effects of rain and earthquake are combined. This study aims to determine the influence of rain followed by earthquake on the stability of the unsaturated slope. This study consists of two stages of numerical analysis, which are seepage analysis to determine changes in pore water pressure on the slope and followed by non-linear time history dynamic analysis to calculate the deformation that occurs due to the ground motion. The soil-water characteristic curve from the field measurement will be incorporated in the upper layer of unsaturated soil and the Loma Prieta (1989) earthquake acceleration recording will be used. Six scenarios of rain followed by earthquake will be analyzed and compared, which are the scenario of rain intensity not changing for three days, the scenario of rain intensity gradually increasing and decreasing gradually, and the scenario of random rain intensity.Abstrak
Efek hujan dan gempa mempengaruhi stabilitas lereng. Hujan dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya infiltrasi pada lereng yang menyebabkan turunnya tekanan air pori negatif pada lereng dan meningkatkan muka air tanah. Sedangkan gempa akan memberikan beban seismik yang menyebabkan terjadinya deformasi pada lereng. Lereng akan mengalami kondisi yang lebih kritis lagi apabila efek hujan dan gempa dikombinasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hujan yang disusul gempa pada stabilitas lereng tak jenuh. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap analisis numerik, yaitu analisis rembesan untuk mengetahui perubahan tekanan air pori pada lereng dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis dinamik time history tidak linear untuk menghitung deformasi yang terjadi akibat gempa. Kurva karakteristik tanah-air yang diambil dari hasil pengukuran akan diinkorporasikan pada lapisan atas tanah tak jenuh dan catatan gempa Loma Prieta (1989) akan digunakan sebagai akselerasi gempa. Enam skenario hujan dilanjutkan gempa akan dianalisis dan dibandingkan yaitu skenario intensitas hujan tidak berubah selama tiga hari, skenario intensitas hujan meningkat bertahap dan berkurang bertahap dalam tiga hari, dan skenario intensitas hujan acak selama tiga hari
Branding Strategy Analysis of the Indonesian Book Information System (SIBI) Using the AISAS Approach
Low literacy rates in childhood are a concern for the Indonesian government. More community activities on social media are demanding the digitization of teaching materials. Access to teaching materials is one factor in increasing children's literacy. The Indonesian government is continuously enhancing educational facilities, including the development of the SIBI platform, also known as the Indonesian Bookkeeping Information System, which offers free access to digital books. A branding strategy is needed to campaign and attract public attention to access the SIBI platform and try reading books with digital media. This research was conducted to analyze the branding strategy using the AISAS model. This research employs qualitative methods by gathering data through literature studies, observations, and interviews. This study demonstrates that the SIBI branding strategy has been running in accordance with the AISAS model branding theory and can attract the attention of users who are growing.Rendahnya literasi pada usia anak menjadi perhatian bagi pemerintah Indonesia. Lebih banyaknya aktivitas masyarakat di media sosial, menuntut adanya digitalisasi bahan ajar. Kemudahan akses terhadap bahan ajar manjadi salah satu faktor meningkatnya literasi pada anak. Pemerintah Indonesia terus meningkatkan fasilitas pendidikan salah satunya dengan mengembangkan platform SIBI yaitu Sistem Informasi Perbukuan Indonesia yang menyediakan buku digital secara gratis. Perlu dilakukan strategi branding untuk mengkampanyekan dan menarik perhatian masyarakat untuk mengakses platform SIBI dan mencoba membaca buku dengan media digital. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis strategi branding dengan model AISAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara. Dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi branding SIBI telah berjalan sesuai dengan teori branding model AISAS dan mampu mendapatkan perhatian pengguna yang terus bertambah
Performance Evaluation of Fractal Wavelet Packet Transform on Wireless Communication Systems
The performance of the phase shift keying (PSK) modulation technique over additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and multipath propagation channels generally becomes worse for higher-order modes. Therefore, a new modulation technique should be provided in order to have a system that is capable of transmitting data with higher efficiency while maintaining better performance at the same time. This paper presents the development of a fractal wavelet packet transform incorporated within the M-ary PSK system, namely M-ary PSK orthogonal wavelet division multiplexing (OWDM), which is proposed to obtain high performance of modulation in terms of spectrum efficiency and bandwidth resources intended for wireless communication systems. To demonstrate performance improvement over a Rayleigh frequency selective fading channel and in the presence of AWGN noise, the proposed system was evaluated and compared to the basic modulation system and M-ary PSK employing orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). The performance results show that M-ary PSK OWDM had better performance in comparison with M-ary PSK OFDM and the conventional system. By utilizing 16 subcarriers, QPSK OWDM achieved bit error rate performance improvement from 1.5 × 10-3 to 1 × 10-4 for Eb/N0 of 20 dB with efficient bandwidth
Skin Lesion Segmentation for Melanoma Using Dilated DenseUNet
Melanoma, a highly malignant form of skin cancer, affects individuals of all genders and is associated with high mortality rates, especially in advanced stages. The use of tele-dermatology has emerged as a proficient diagnostic approach for skin lesions and is particularly beneficial in rural areas with limited access to dermatologists. However, accurately, and efficiently segmenting melanoma remains a challenging task due to the significant diversity observed in the morphology, pigmentation, and dimensions of cutaneous nevi. To address this challenge, we propose a novel approach called DenseUNet-169 with a dilated convolution encoder-decoder for automatic segmentation of RGB dermascopic images. By incorporating dilated convolution, our model improves the receptive field of the kernels without increasing the number of parameters. Additionally, we used a method called Copy and Concatenation Attention Block (CCAB) for robust feature computation. To evaluate the performance of our proposed framework, we utilized the International Skin Imaging Collaboration (ISIC) 2017 dataset. The experimental results demonstrate the reliability and effectiveness of our suggested approach compared to existing methodologies. Our framework achieved a high level of accuracy (98.38%), precision (96.07%), recall (94.32%), dice score (95.07%), and Jaccard score (90.45%), outperforming current techniques
Analisis Rebranding Produk Kecantikan Lokal “Luxcrime” pada Perkembangan Brand
Local beauty products such as Viva, Purbasari, Sariayu, and Mustika Ratu have been present since the 1960s, but their branding has primarily targeted adults. However, since the 2010s, there has been a growing development of local beauty products specifically for teenagers. The peak of this trend occurred during the pandemic, as teenagers became more conscious of self-care, resulting in significant growth for local beauty brands like Luxcrime. This research aims to analyze the relationship between Luxcrime's rebranding and its progress in the Indonesian beauty industry before and after the pandemic. The study employs qualitative methods of visual content analysis and descriptive analysis to examine Luxcrime's re-branding from the perspective of Conceptual Branding Theory and Brand Equity. The findings indicate that Luxcrime’s rebranding has a significant impact on brand advancement by creating opportunities for product expansion and expanding market share through the introduction of new visual elements.Produk kecantikan lokal seperti Viva, Purbasari, Sariayu, dan Mustika Ratu telah hadir sejak 1960-an, tapi branding mereka lebih ditujukan untuk orang dewasa. Namun, sejak 2010-an, produk kecantikan lokal untuk remaja mulai berkembang. Puncaknya adalah saat pandemi karena kesadaran remaja untuk merawat diri meningkat. Luxcrime merupakan salah satu produk kecantikan lokal yang mengalami pertumbuhan pesat pada periode tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara rebranding Luxcrime dan kemajuannya dalam industri kecantikan di Indonesia sebelum dan sesudah pandemi. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis konten visual dan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk mengkaji rebranding Luxcrime dari perspektif teori conceptual Branding dan Brand Equity. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rebranding Luxcrime berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemajuan merek dengan membuka peluang ekspansi produk dan memperluas pangsa pasar melalui visual baru yang diperkenalkan
