Buddha Sasana Dan Hamemayu Hayuning Bawana Dalam Konteks Masyarakat 5.0
Get PDFThis article examines how the values of the Buddhist Sasana and the Javanese philosophy of "Hamemayu Hayuning Bawana" can provide ethical and spiritual contributions in responding to the challenges of the Society 5.0 era. A qualitative approach with a desk study method is used to explore the integration of Buddhist moral values and cultural locality in building a humane, inclusive, and sustainable society. The results of the study indicate that Buddhist principles such as sila, mindfulness, and sustainability, as well as Javanese philosophy that emphasizes cosmic harmony and social responsibility, have high relevance in forming a super-intelligent society oriented towards humanity. This article recommends mainstreaming ethical values in education and technology policy
THE IMPACT OF ONLINE MEDIA COVERAGE OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN TOWARDS WONOGIRI SOCIETY
Get PDFSexual violence against women and children in Wonogiri Regency, especially in 2023, will experience a very high increase in cases. The occurrence of sexual violence made the mass media busy reporting it, especially on online media. This article aims to describe the impact of reporting on sexual violence against women and children in Wonogiri Regency in online media. The method used to answer the research questions in this article is descriptive qualitative where researchers obtain data through direct observations and in-depth interviews with informants. The results of the research show that reporting in online media regarding sexual violence against women and children in Wonogiri Regency has several impacts. Among the positive impacts are: 1) increasing public knowledge regarding various sexual violence against women and children in Wonogiri Regency, 2) Due to increasing public knowledge, a sense of concern for the surrounding environment appears, people are more concerned and no longer indifferent to the incidents that occur around, 3) Furthermore, a sense of mutual protection among members of the community grows, this is because the community does not want similar incidents to occur in the environment where they live. However, reporting via online media also turns out to have a negative impact among society, namely: 1) Excessive fear, excessive fear because people get information from online media regarding sexual violence against women and children. Especially in families with school-age children, it is normal for fear to arise. Apart from that, the negative impact is 2) becoming restless and always suspicious

Social media has now become the main platform that supports information needs, especially for students in academic environments. This research aims to analyze how the @bemkmipb_edu account utilizes the Instagram platform as a means of communication and information that supports the needs of IPB students. This research uses a qualitative approach which involves collecting data by interviewing key informants and informants, using Lasswell's communication theory. The research results show that Instagram is the optimal media thanks to its popularity among students, ease of access, and visual features that support the delivery of information quickly and interestingly
ANALISIS KESALAHAN PENGGUNAAN EJAAN PADA POSTINGAN MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM @FASILKOM.UPNVJATIM
Get PDFThis study was conducted to analyze spelling errors in social media posts on Instagram account @fasilkom.upnvjatim. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, where data is collected through direct observation of various captions posted. The most common spelling mistakes on the @fasilkom.upnvjatim Instagram account include improper capitalization, punctuation errors, and the use of words that are not in accordance with the rules. The results of the analysis show that of the 10 posts studied, there were 15 spelling errors, with 10 errors in word writing, 3 in the use of letters, and 2 in punctuation. Although the number of errors is relatively small, the impact on the credibility and effectiveness of digital communication is significant. To improve the quality of communication, it is recommended to implement editorial standards as well as training social media managers on the Indonesian General Spelling Guidelines (PUEBI)
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY CONTENT PLANNER ON RBTV YOGYAKARTA SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to analyze the communication strategy of the content planner on the RBTV Yogyakarta social media team. This study uses a constructivism paradigm with an analytical qualitative method approach. Data analysis uses the results of interviews, observations and supporting documents. Using the theory of communication strategy from Wayne Pace which states that communication strategy has three objectives including to secure understanding, to establish acceptance, and to motivate action. The results of the study are that the communication strategy carried out by the RBTV social media team has clear stages to achieve content success, the RBTV social media team uses stages such as setting content goals, mapping target markets, content idea planning strategies, and evaluation.

Get PDFThis study examines the communication strategies employed by the social media account@merapi_uncover in enhancing the role of citizen journalism on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok,and X (Twitter). In the digital era, characterized by rapid advancements in information technology, socialmedia has become a primary source of information for the public. @merapi_uncover is known for itsfocus on local news, including traffic accidents, crime, disasters, and social issues in Yogyakarta and itssurroundings. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach to explore the underlying meanings ofthis phenomenon and provide an in-depth understanding of the communication strategies applied. Thekey strategies identified include unique content creation, the use of local language to build emotionalconnections, community empowerment through active participation, as well as speed and accuracy indelivering information. A strict verification process before publication ensures the validity of theinformation, reducing the risk of misinformation. Informal interactions with followers, the use of simplelanguage, and quick responses help foster a strong relationship with the community. This study alsohighlights challenges such as filtering relevant information and technical constraints like signaldisruptions. Through a commitment to accuracy and transparency, this account has built a reputation asa reliable information source. Additionally, @merapi_uncover maintains user privacy by not disclosingsensitive personal information, thereby increasing public trust. It also presents visually engaging contentthat is easily understood by younger audiences. The findings suggest that @merapi_uncover'scommunication strategies are effective in enhancing public engagement and creating a citizen journalismthat serves as a bridge between the community and authorities.Keywords: Citizen Journalism, Social Media, Digital Communication
PRICE FLUCTUATIONS AND ELASTICITY OF COFFEE PRICE TRANSMISSION IN THE WORLD AND DOMESTIC COFFEE MARKETS OF NORTH SUMATRA PROVINCE
Get PDFThe research aims to analyze fluctuation Coffee prices in North Sumatra Province and districts selected ( Taput, Simalungun, Karo, and Dairi ), analyzing elasticity of coffee price transmission from the world coffee market to the coffee market in Sumatra Province, and analyzing elasticity of coffee price transmission between the North Sumatra Province market and Taput, Simalungun, Karo, and Dairi Regencies. Research data is secondary data series time 2012-2023, with tool analysis coefficient of variation and elasticity transmission price.Research findings show that coffee prices in North Sumatra Province and West Sumatra Regency Taput, Simalungun, Karo, and Dairi are very volatile and include in category fluctuation high price.The elasticity of coffee price transmission between the world market and the North Sumatra Province market is inelastic. Changes the price of arabica and robusta coffee on the world market is only cause change very small coffee prices in North Sumatra Province. This show market system yet efficient that can happen Because adjustment costs in the supply chain or the abuse of market power in oligopsony market structures by exporters or traders in the world market.The elasticity of Arabica coffee price transmission in Taput and Karo Districts is elastic, where the percentage change Arabica coffee prices in both regency the more big compared to with percentage change coffee prices in North Sumatra Province. This show existence market structure that is oligopoly, so that coffee producers in both regency be in position strong bargaining position in determine price. However, the elasticity of the transmission of Arabica and Robusta coffee prices in the Regency Simalungun and Robusta coffee in the Regency nature inelastic, where percentage change prices on both regency more small than percentage change coffee prices in North Sumatra Province. This show existence market structure that is monopsony in both regency so that can cause market abuse occurs power by intermediary traders in controlling prices in Simalungun Regency and Dairi Regency

Get PDFRitual Mapag Tanggal di Padukuhan Turgo, lereng selatan Gunung Merapi, potensial menjadi pendukung daya tarik wisata yang sudah ada di Desa Wisata Turgo-Merapi. Meskipun demikian, kajian hal ini belum banyak dilakukan sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Ritual Mapag Tanggal. Penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif ini dilakukan di Desa Wisata Turgo-Merapi, Kalurahan Purwobinangun, Kapanewon Pakem, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Objek penelitian ini adalah Ritual Mapag Tanggal, sementara subjek penelitian adalah warga Padukuhan Turgo serta tokoh masyarakat setempat yang dinilai paham tentang Ritual Mapag Tanggal. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan observasi dan wawancara, sementara data sekunder dikumpulkan dengan studi dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada bulan-bulan yang diyakini baik untuk berziarah dalam penanggalan Jawa, yaitu bulan Sura, Sapar, dan Ruwah, pengunjung Bukit Turgo mengalami kenaikan. Di antara ke-3 bulan tersebut, bulan Sura merupakan puncak kunjungan tertinggi sepanjang tahun. Ritual Mapag Tanggal yang digelar pada tanggal 1 Sura bisa dijadikan sebagai pendukung untuk memperkuat daya tarik yang sudah ada, khususnya bagi para pelaku spiritual Jawa yang non-Muslim untuk berziarah ke Bukit Turgo
PERAN TEORI BEHAVIORISTIK DALAM MOTIVASI, KEDISIPLINAN DAN MINAT BELAJAR PADA SISWA
Get PDFTeori behavioristik adalah teori belajar yang menjelaskan mengenai perubahan perilaku maupun tingkah laku yang terjadi diakibatkan oleh interaksi antara distimulus dan responnya. Motivasi dan minat belajar sangat diperlukan untuk menentukan pembelajaran siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui motivasi, kedisiplinan dan minat belajar pada siswa dengan menggunakan teori belajar behavioristik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literatur review. Pada literatur review ini menggunakan artikel yang diterbitkan tahun 2010-2024 di Google Scholar dengan kata kunci “Teori Belajar Behavioristik”. Banyak sekali artikel yang tersedia sebanyak 169 artikel dan yang paling sesuai dengan tema penelitian ini sebanyak 12 jurnal yang direview merupakan jurnal yang sesuai dengan arikel jurnal dengan tema Teori Belajar Behavioristik. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teori behaviorisme, terutama melalui stimulus dan respon, serta perhatian terhadap lingkungan belajar dan pengaruh motivasi, sangat penting dalam meningkatkan keaktifan, minat, disiplin, dan karakter siswa. Pendidikan yang mendukung perkembangan fisik, mental, serta karakter siswa melalui pendekatan yang terstruktur dapat menciptakan hasil pembelajaran yang lebih baik
FOSTERING STUDENTS’ PRONUNCIATION BY USING WHISPERING TONGUE TWISTER
Get PDFThis study was designed based on the results of observations of the pronunciation skills of eighth grade students at SMPN 1 Parepare, South Sulawesi. Many average students' pronunciation skills are categorized as low, making it difficult to speak English. The researcherss provide solutions by teaching pronunciation using the whispering tongue twister method to students with the concept of playing while learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out whether the use of the whispering Tongue Twister method can help students' pronunciation. The researcherss used the pre-experimental method with a group pretest and post-test design. The population of this study included all VIII grade students at SMPN 1 Parepare, with a sample size of 32 students in class VIII.4 as the experimental class. The sample selection used the purposive sampling technique and data collection using pretest and post-tests with the text read. The treatment was done in four meetings with two aspects of assessment, namely accuracy and fluency. In analyzing the data, researcherss used SPSS 29. The results of the data analysis show an improvement in student pronunciation. This is evidenced by the average score on the initial test of students, which is 33.84 and the average score on the final test of students, which is 45.84. After analyzing the data, the result of the probability is 0.001 and the significance value is 0.05. This indicates that H0 was rejected and H1 was rejected. It can be concluded that the use of the Whispering Tongue Twister method can foster students' pronunciation at SMPN 1 Parepare in the 2023/2024 school year
