The Effectiveness of The Novick Learning Model on The Representative Ability Of Students
This study aims to examine the suitability of learning with the Novick learning model through observation sheets of students' active activities and teachers' teaching abilities, to determine the ideal learning time using an ideal time observation sheet, and to assess the quality of learning based on the improvement of students' representational abilities, all of which are indicators of the effectiveness of the learning model. The research results obtained show that the learning outcome suitability for student active participation is 4.27778 and the teaching ability of lecturers is 4.58333, both in the excellent category. The ideal time obtained for delivering learning objectives using the Novick model is 4.85714, which is in the excellent category. Data analysis for learning quality indicates an improvement in students' representative abilities. The conclusion of the study is that the Novick learning model is effective for the representational abilities of students in the Mathematics Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at UHN
Analysis Impact Help Government To Development Msmes In Suka Maju Village Are Progressing
This study aims to analyze the impact of government assistance on the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Suka Maju Village, Medan Sunggal District. The government assistance in question includes business capital assistance, entrepreneurship training, and business mentoring. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method with data collection through questionnaires and interviews with MSMEs receiving assistance. The results show that the government assistance program has a positive impact on increasing productivity, turnover, and managerial skills of MSMEs. However, the effectiveness of assistance is still influenced by internal factors such as business management skills and external factors such as market conditions. Thus, it can be concluded that government assistance plays a significant role in encouraging the development of MSMEs in Suka Maju Village, although improvements in mentoring and program evaluation are still needed to optimize its impact
The Effect Of Roblox Application On 7th-Grade Students’ Vocabulary Mastery
This study investigates the effect of the Roblox application on the English vocabulary mastery of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 37 Medan. The research was motivated by students’ limited vocabulary acquisition, which often hampers their communication skills, as well as the lack of digital integration in conventional teaching methods. A quantitative method with a true experimental design was employed, involving two classes as samples: class 7-A (31 students) as the experimental group taught using the Roblox application and class 7-B (31 students) as the control group taught conventionally. The research instruments consisted of vocabulary tests including multiple-choice, word-matching, and fill-in-the-blank tasks, administered as pre-tests and post-tests. The findings revealed that the experimental group achieved a higher mean score improvement, increasing from 64.84 to 78.55, compared to the control group, which only improved from 63.38 to 71.61. Statistical analysis using an independent t-test (t-value 2.516 > t-table 2.000, α=0.05) confirmed a significant difference between the groups with a medium effect size (0.39). These results indicate that the Roblox application positively influences students’ vocabulary mastery and can serve as an effective supplementary tool for English language teaching at the junior high school leve
The Effect of Active Learning Method of Information Search Type On Students' Learning Outcomes On The Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Material Of Grade XI
This study aims to determine the significant effect of the Active Learning Method of Information Search Type on Student Learning Outcomes in the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Material of Class XI Odd Semester of SMA Swasta Tunas Gajah Mada Medan. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study to determine whether there is an influence or effect of something that is caused to the subject, namely students. The population of this study was all students of class XI Odd Semester of SMA Swasta Tunas Gajah Mada which consists of 4 classes totaling 144 people. Sampling was carried out using the Cluster random sampling technique, namely class XI IPS1 as an experimental class totaling 30 people taught with the Active Learning Method of Information Search Type and class XI IPS 2 as a control class totaling 30 people taught with the expository learning method. The instrument in this study consisted of 16 multiple-choice questions with 4 options (a, b, c, d) which had been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and discrimination. The results of the study showed that the sample came from a homogeneous and normally distributed population. The results of the data analysis obtained the average pretest value of the experimental class was 35.00 with a standard deviation of 12.67 and the average value of the control class obtained pretest data of 36.04 with a standard deviation of 16.39. From the results of the two-tailed t-test statistical test, the value of t count = 0.611 and t table = 2.002 was obtained. because t count < t table (0.611 < 2.002), this states that the initial abilities of the two sample classes are the same. Then given different treatments, the average value of the experimental class was 85.42 with a standard deviation of 11.87 and the average value of the control class posttest was 77.08 with a standard deviation of 11.41, based on the results of the one-sided t-test statistical test, the price of t count = 2.789 and t table = 1.671 at a significance level of 0.05 and df = 58, because t count > t table (2.789 > 1.671) this shows that there is a significant influence of the Active Learning Method of Information Search Type on Student Learning Outcomes on the Main Material of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Class XI Odd Semester of Tunas Gajah Mada Private High School
ANALISIS PEMILIHAN PRODUK PAKET UMRAH DI PT. DAGO WISATA INTERNASIONAL MENGGUNAKAN METODE ANALITYCAL HIERARCHY PROCESS
Penyelenggaraan ibadah umrah berkaitan erat dengan kenyamanan dan kesejahteraan jamaah, baik secara fisik maupun spiritual. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan paket umrah yang sesuai menjadi hal penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna menetapkan prioritas kriteria dan alternatif paket umrah yang paling sesuai dengan kebutuhan jamaah. Kriteria yang digunakan meliputi atraksi, fasilitas, aksesibilitas, citra destinasi, dan harga. Alternatif yang dibandingkan adalah Umrah Plus Cairo, Umrah Plus Turki, dan Umrah Plus Oman. Pendekatan yang diterapkan yaitu Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dengan bantuan aplikasi Expert Choice, berdasarkan penilaian dari dua responden terpilih yaitu pelanggan PT. Dago Wisata Internasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas menjadi kriteria utama dibandingkan kriteria atraksi, aksesibilitas, citra destinasi, dan harga. Sementara itu, Umrah Plus Turki menjadi alternatif yang paling diprioritaskan karena memiliki keunggulan dari setiap kriteria dibandingkan Umrah Plus Cairo dan Umrah Plus Oman
KAMPUNG ADAT TAKPALA: STUDI PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT LOKAL DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA BERBASIS KOMUNITAS
The Traditional Adat Village of Takpala in Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, is a cultural destination with significant potential to be developed as a community-based tourism (CBT) village. The authenticity of its traditional houses, preserved social structures, and rich cultural heritage make the village appealing to tourists. This study aims to examine the forms and processes of local community empowerment in tourism development in Takpala Village through the CBT approach. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consist of traditional leaders, local tourism actors, village government officials, and representatives of the general community. The findings indicate that community involvement in tourism development is evident through tour guiding, cultural performances, and visitor management activities. However, challenges remain in areas such as human resource training, marketing, and the sustainability of tourism initiatives. This study recommends strengthening collaboration among stakeholders and enhancing local capacities to support inclusive, sustainable, and culturally grounded tourism development
ANALISIS FAKTOR FAKTOR KUALITAS DESTINASI WISATA TERHADAP MINAT BERKUNJUNG KEMBALI KE GILI IYANG SUMENEP
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kualitas destinasi terhadap minat berkunjung kembali ke destinasi wisata Gili Iyang Sumenep menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengalaman yang memuaskan menciptakan dorongan intrinsik bagi wisatawan untuk menginginkan minat kunjungan kembali ke destinasi tersebut, atau bahkan merekomendasikan kepada orang lain Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner online dan diisi oleh 100 responden yang pernah mengunjungi Gili Iyang minimal sekali, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan perangkat lunak SmartPLS versi 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat berkunjung kembali dipengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan dari semua faktor kualitas destinasi yaitu atraksi wisata, informasi, fasilitas, layanan, kebersihan, aksesibilitas dan SDM. Faktor SDM memiliki pengaruh paling dominan dalam meningkatkan loyalitas wisatawan, sedangkan faktor kebersihan memiliki pengaruh paling rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek kebersihan perlu ditingkatkan, sehingga persepsi atau kesan baik terhadap kualitas destinasi akan mendorong wisatawan untuk kembali berkunjung. Karena itu meningkatkan kualitas dari masing masing indikator ini sangat penting untuk menumbuhkan daya tarik dan loyalitas wisatawan secara berkelanjutan
ANALISIS PENANGANAN KELUHAN OLEH FRONT DESK HOTEL FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON BATAM
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis-jenis keluhan yang disampaikan tamu kepada front desk serta menelaah strategi yang diterapkan dalam penanganannya di Hotel Four Points by Sheraton Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan empat responden yang terdiri dari satu orang supervisor dan tiga staf front desk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keluhan tamu umumnya berkaitan dengan fasilitas kamar, variasi menu sarapan, serta lingkungan sekitar hotel. Sebagian besar keluhan disampaikan secara langsung kepada staf, sehingga dapat segera ditindaklanjuti. Strategi penanganan dilakukan dengan menerapkan tahapan ILEAD (Identify, Listen, Empathize, Apologize, Decide) yang secara konsisten dijalankan sesuai dengan standar operasional prosedur hotel. Penerapan tahapan tersebut terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi ketidakpuasan dan menjaga reputasi positif hotel. Selain itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perbaikan terhadap fasilitas hotel yang sering mengalami gangguan, seperti unit pendingin ruangan dan perangkat elektronik di dalam kamar, guna meminimalisasi potensi keluhan tamu di masa mendatang
IMPLEMENTASI TEORI KOGNITIF JEAN PIAGET DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Perkembangan kognitif anak merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan dasar, dan teori kognitif Jean Piaget menawarkan kerangka kerja yang relevan untuk memahami proses tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan prinsip-prinsip perkembangan kognitif Piaget dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur. Melalui pencarian di Google Scholar menggunakan kata kunci “Teori kognitif Jean Piaget,” sebanyak 108 literatur ditemukan, dan 7 di antaranya memenuhi kriteria relevansi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teori Piaget dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, terutama melalui metode yang berpusat pada siswa dan eksplorasi aktif. Namun, tantangan tetap ada karena sebagian besar guru masih menggunakan metode tradisional yang berfokus sebagai pengajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan bagi pendidik untuk memahami dan menerapkan teori ini secara efektif. Dengan implementasi yang optimal, teori Piaget diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis serta logis
STRATEGI PENERAPAN PENGELOLAAN KELAS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi penerapan pengelolaan kelas dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Motivasi belajar, dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal, berperan penting dalam proses belajar yang efektif. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berbagai strategi penerapan pengelolaan kelas yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Literature Review, dengan analisis 20 artikel ilmiah dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi evaluasi yang tepat dan penggunaan metode pengajaran yang bervariasi, terbukti meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Faktor-faktor seperti cita-cita siswa dan dukungan lingkungan juga berkontribusi pada motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan strategi pengelolaan kelas sangat penting untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang mendukung, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada kualitas pendidikan dan pengembangan karakter siswa
