Intensification Of Civil Servant Work Discipline In The Public Works And Spatial Planning Service (PUPR)
The Public Works and Housing Agency of Pidie Regency is one of the agencies in Pidie Regency, one of its tasks is to guide Civil Servants to be more obedient and compliant with the disciplinary regulations that have been stipulated in the applicable laws and regulations so that the implementation of duties can be carried out in accordance with existing provisions. Civil Servant Development includes several things including the preparation and determination of needs, procurement, rank and position, and others. However, all of these aspects have not been implemented optimally because various constraints or inhibiting factors have been encountered. The purpose of the study was to determine the extent to which the intensification of Civil Servant discipline has been implemented at the Public Works and Housing Agency of Pidie Regency and what obstacles have been encountered. This study uses a descriptive method. To obtain data, it is necessary to conduct field and library research. All data obtained are processed and analyzed using a qualitative approach method. The results of the study indicate that the intensification of Civil Servant discipline at the Public Works and Housing Agency of Pidie Regency has not been implemented as it should because various inhibiting factors have been encountered. The obstacles encountered include, among others, the limited ability of employees to carry out the tasks assigned to them, and the lack of guidance provided by superiors to their subordinates
The Use Of Quizizz Application To Increase Descriptive Text Writing Skills Of Eleventh Grade Students
Writing skills are one of the essential skills in learning English. However, many students have difficulty developing ideas, using appropriate vocabulary, and structuring sentences into well-organized paragraphs, especially when writing descriptive texts. This research aims to investigate the effect of using the Quizizz Application on students’ writing skills, particularly in writing descriptive texts. This research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this research was eleventh grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar, and two classes were selected as samples using purposive sampling. The experimental class (XI-4) consisted of 33 students who were taught using the Quizizz Application, while the control class (XI-1) consisted of 33 students who were taught using the conventional model. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test writing assignments, then analyzed using an independent sample test. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class increased from 53,70 on the pre-test to 84,16 on the post-test, while the control class increased from 43,37 on the pre-test to 59,67 on the post-test. Statistical analysis showed that the significance value was 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. This means that there was a significant improvement in students in the experimental class who received the treatment. Thus, this shows that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. Therefore, the use of the Quizizz Application has a positive and significant effect on students’ writing skills in descriptive texts. Based on these findings, Quizizz can be used as an effective and interactive learning medium to improve students’ writing skills
The Effect Of Learning Styles And Self-Confidence On Students' Understanding of The Concept of Relational Presentation
This study aims to analyze the influence of students’ learning styles and self-confidence on their conceptual understanding of relation representation in mathematics at SMP Negeri Satu Atap 01 Ciseeng. The preliminary data showed that 65% of students had not achieved mastery learning. A qualitative descriptive survey method was applied involving 48 eighth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model with triangulation for data validation. The findings reveal that visual learning style is dominant (42%) and produces the highest average score (82). Most students’ self-confidence is at the moderate level (60%), while those with high self-confidence achieve better performance (85). The combination of visual learning style and high self-confidence results in the highest conceptual understanding score (86). This study confirms the relevance of differentiated instruction and Deep Learning models in mathematics education. The findings imply the need for adaptive teaching strategies that accommodate students’ diverse learning styles while fostering self-confidence
Analysis Of The Ability To Understand Mathematical Concepts As Seen In The Face Of Students' Self-Confidence In The Material On Numbers Round Grade VII l
This study aims to describe the relationship between self-confidence and students' mathematical conceptual understanding of integers in class VII-3 of SMPN 19 Medan in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quantitative descriptive study using the Simple Random Sampling method, involving 32 students as a sample. The instruments used were a self-confidence questionnaire and a conceptual understanding ability test. Data were analyzed using Rank Correlation, a nonparametric method suitable for ordinal scale data. The analysis results showed a correlation coefficient (r-rank) of 0.889, indicating a very strong positive relationship between self-confidence and students' conceptual understanding. The higher the students' self-confidence, the better their mathematical conceptual understanding. Furthermore, the results of processing the questionnaire using a Likert scale showed an average achievement percentage of 65.09%, which is in the moderate category. This finding implies that although most students have fairly good self-confidence and conceptual understanding, efforts are still needed to achieve achievement in the high category
Exploration of Financial Literacy Learning and Its Implementation in the Independent Curriculum at The High School Level
The issue in this research is that financial literacy learning has not yet been widely integrated into the Independent Learning Curriculum at the elementary school level. The purpose of this research is to identify financial literacy material in the Independent Learning Curriculum at the elementary school level. This study uses library research. Library research is a research method that is conducted by collecting library data, analyzing literature sources, reading selected literature sources appropriately, evaluating the most relevant sources to the research topic, and writing or recording a research report that includes a literature review. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the percentage of financial literacy material implementation at the school level largely applies investment material, with a percentage reaching 80%. The material for saving and financial management is 52%, recognizing risks and returns is 42%, budgeting material is 14%, understanding entrepreneurship is 12%, financial technology is 10%, understanding money is 6%, and the lowest is loans at 4%. Therefore, with this analysis, financial literacy is very necessary to be implemented at the high school level
ANALISIS IMPLEMENTASI APLIKASI SIORI BUDDHA DALAM PROSES LEGALITAS LEMBAGA KEAGAMAAN BUDDHA DI KOTA BATAM
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana legalitas lembaga keagamaan Buddha dalam pendaftaran lembaga keagamaan Buddha dengan aplikasi SIORI, bagaimana pendapat Pengurus organisasi agama Buddha Kota Batam terhadap aplikasi SIORI Buddha, dan untuk menganalisis bagaimana cara mengatasi agar Pengurus organisasi agama Buddha Kota Batam sadar akan pentingnya SIORI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan dengan pendekatan analitik. Waktu penelitian di Kota Batam selama 5 bulan dari bulan April sampai dengan Agustus 2025. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Ditjen Bimas Buddha, para ketua pengurus lembaga keagamaan Buddha, dan perwakilan umat Buddha. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi SIORI sangat memudahkan dalam mendaftarkan lembaga keagamaan Buddha, umat Buddha menyambut baik dan mengapresiasi adanya aplikasi SIORI dalam pendaftaran dan pendataan lembaga keagamaan Buddha supaya mendapat kepastian hukum tetap, serta pentingnya keterlibatan berbagai pihka dalam meningkatkan kesadaran para pengurus organisasi agama Buddha Kota Batam terhadap pentingnya SIORI Buddha
The Effect Of Product Quality And Price On Customer Satisfaction at Love Tempe, Sempali Village
This study aims to examine the influence of product quality and price on customer satisfaction at Love Tempe in Desa Sempali. A quantitative approach was applied, using multiple linear regression as the analytical method. A total of 50 respondents were selected through purposive sampling, targeting customers who had purchased Love Tempe products more than once. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 25. The findings indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Price also shows a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. Together, both variables contribute 68.4 percent to the level of customer satisfaction. These results highlight the importance of maintaining product quality and setting prices that reflect customer perceptions of value. The study provides insights that can help business owners improve product consistency and develop more effective pricing strategie
Preservation of The Tortor Mangalo alo Tondong Tradition in Simalungun Batak Weddings in Siopat Suhu Village, Pematang Siantar City
This study aims to analyze the importance of the Mangalo-alo Tondong Tortor Tradition carried out in the Simalungun Batak Wedding in Siopat Suhu Village, Pematangsiantar City, Explaining the efforts made by the Simalungun community to preserve traditions and knowing how the Simalungun Young Generation views the importance of the Tradition in Simalungun Weddings in Siopat Suhu Village, Pematangsiantar City. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted in Siopat Suhu Village, Pematangsiantar City. The data collection techniques are by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Mangalo-alo Tondong Tradition is still carried out and is still preserved by the Simalungun community, both traditional leaders, Simalungun parents, and also the Simalungun Young Generation. Because the role of Tondong is very important in marriage, this tradition is carried out as a form of respect. If in marriage gets a blessing from the Bone, it will be happy together forever according to the Batak people's view. And also to strengthen the relationship between two large families that they all need each other. In the context of Bronislaw Malinowski's functionalist theory, traditions and rituals must serve a function in social life to maintain and pass down to younger generations. Through these traditions, we can see that something with a role and function will be respected and maintained so that it continues to exist
The Effect Of The Think Pair Share (TPS) Type Cooperative Learning Model On Students' Mathematical Problem-Solving Abilities In The Material Of Integer Numbers In Grade VII
This study aims to determine whether the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning Model used in class VII influences students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in integer material. This study is a Quasi Experiment using cluster sampling techniques. The samples collected for this study were class VII-A as the experimental class, and class VII-B as the control class. The tool used was a test. The results of the calculation of mathematical problem-solving abilities showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 <0.05 at a significance level of 5%. The average value for the experimental class' mathematical problem-solving abilities was 84.115, while the average value for the control class was 58.470. Then from the results of the N-Gain test, the average score for the experimental class was 0.84 (high criteria) and the control class score was 0.46 (medium criteria). So it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning Model on Students' Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in Integer Material for Class VII SMP NEGERI 1 STABAT TA 2024/2025
