    Narrative review: strengthening students’ self-identity through Christian values-based guidance and counseling services

    Adolescence is an important stage for self-identity discovery. Thus, effective guidance and counseling strategies are needed in shaping students’ self-identity. One of them is by integrating Christian values in guidance and counseling services. This article is aimed to analyze the shaping of self-identity through guidance and counseling services based on Christian values. Narrative review is used to compile several published articles and research studies from Google scholars with the key words “guidance and counseling services based on Christian values” and “integration of Christian values in counseling and psychology”. Hence, 80 journals from 54 national and 26 international journals are collected, with 7 national journals selected with the PRISMA model. The result of this article covers 4 key areas in guidance and counseling services with Christian values :1)Guidance and counseling services can be applied through prayer and Scripture reading that are suitable for students’ needs, 2)Guidance services are conducted to help students to be independent and discipline, 3)Counseling services can be done through pastoral counseling and discipleship,4)School counselor has an important role to instill Christian values in shaping students’ self-identity

    Scientific writing is one of the tasks in the professional development of teachers and the requirements for promotion outlined by the Ministry of Education in Indonesia. Producing scientific writing requires skills, and this is a trending issue among Christian religious education subject teachers in Indonesia today, how they struggle to develop effective scientific writing. At present, in private and other public schools, it is common for teachers to produce writing using digital technology. However, this has not happened for teachers of Christian religious education subjects. Integrating technology in schools by Christian religious education subject teachers can help improve writing initiatives and skills that focus on writing pedagogy. This initiative will provide technical support to teachers of Christian religious education so they can focus on writing scientific papers. Professional development of teachers in the subject of continuing Christian religious education based on scholarly writing will emphasize how to utilize digital tools to deliver evidence-based writing instructions. Christian Religious Education subject teachers gain the most when given systematic and explicit instruction in science-based strategies for writing and the writing process, and how to make effective use of digital tools as part of the scientific paper writing process

    In the context of Christian education, education has a central role in shaping Christian character and encouraging students to implement the Great Commission in their actions and behavior. The Christian education approach covers various aspects, including the formation of Christian character, understanding values such as love and caring, spreading God's Word, motivation for service and giving, and pastoral spiritual aspects of students. Christian education also motivates students to carry out service and giving as an expression of Christ's love for fellow human beings. Thus, students learn to reflect on values such as forgiveness, honesty, and compassion in the context of service. The importance of spreading God's Word in Christian education includes a deep understanding of the message of God's Word and how it is relevant in everyday life. Students are taught to understand the teachings of Christianity in a spiritual context and apply them in their lives, including in their decisions and actions. It includes the development of a personal relationship with God, an understanding of spiritual vocations, and character development that reflects the values of Christianity. Spiritual guidance and deepening understanding of Christian teachings are integral in shepherding the spiritual aspects of students. Thus, Christian education has a great responsibility in shaping Christian character, understanding the values of Christianity, and shepherding the spiritual aspects of students. Through this holistic approach, Christian education helps students carry out the Great Commission in their actions and behaviors, making them beneficial citizens of society as well as staunch followers of Christian religious values

    Implementation of the Requirements for Church Overseers Based on 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Among the Church Management of GKII Sintang

    The purpose of this research is to find out how big the level of implementation of the Apostle Paul's Teaching on the Conditions of Congregational Overseers based on 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Among the Congregational Management of the Indonesian Gospel Tent Church Sintang I Region II West Kalimantan. This research uses quantitative descriptive research. Called quantitative because the data obtained based on the number of objects or respondents studied, can be calculated according to a predetermined formula. Collecting data using a Likert scale and processing it through several tests using SPSS 25. The tests used are instrument validation and reliability tests as well as normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. To test the hypothesis using the Convidence Interval formula at a significance level of 5%, regression significance test (Freg) and one way variance test (one way Anova) also using data collection techniques through the literature, namely the Bible in various versions, Bible dictionaries, interpretations -interpretations, Bible Encyclopedias, Interlinears, and various online and offline reading sources. The results show that the Implementation of the Apostle Paul's Teaching Regarding the Conditions of Congregational Overseers Based on 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Among the Congregational Management of the Indonesian Evangelical Camp Church in Sintang I Region II West Kalimantan (Y) is in the medium category, this is not in accordance with the proposed hypothesis. .     The problem that usually occurs is that some political people consider it dirty, unclean, unclean, evil, and sinful, but that opinion is not true. Usually, unscrupulous politicians abuse their authority in politics for the benefit of themselves, their families, and groups, thus ignoring the public interest. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to encourage Christian educators to teach Christian education and political education for the benefit of the general public; as well as to open the horizons of thinking for Christians and the public as a whole. This paper uses qualitative methods through literature studies to produce an understanding of Christian and political education correctly so that it can make everyone happy. So, the results found are that if Christian educators are increasingly loyal to teaching Christian education and political education in the right way, then everyone who is taught will continue to do the right thing too

    The aim of the study was to find out the level of implementation of the apostle Paul's teaching about love based on 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 for students of SMP Joseph Khatulistiwa.     Religious moderation in the smallest circle of Christian society (family) is an interesting phenomenon today. Since ancient times, the religious attitude of families, including Christian families in the small Ambon area, has been used as a prototype for religious life. The purpose of this research is that religious moderation can be preserved by Christian families if life in harmonious and harmonious differences experiences significant growth. But in reality religious moderation in a small family environment is experiencing a crisis. This is because the understanding of Christian families about religious moderation is still limited to knowing the existence of religious differences. What really is Moderation of Religion is not limited to that. Religious moderation requires resilience and the ability to share differences, to have an attitude of tolerance for other parties, even though they have different religions in accordance with true religious teachings, including the Teachings of Christian Religious Education. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection is done by observation technique. Data analysis was carried out interactively and took place continuously until completion. Therefore, the first coming of Jesus to the world signifies the end times have begun. Meanwhile, the end of time is a reference marked by the last presence of Jesus to bring separation between the righteous and the wicked, so that the wicked can be punished according to their deeds. This article was written using qualitative research methods with a literature study approach, by describing the concept of theological studies of the role of the church in equipping Generation Z in defending the faith for the implementation of the great mandate. it was found that teenagers in this era need the role of the church to form them into disciples who can make disciples, the church must equip Generation Z to carry out Jesus' commands to non-believers

    Analysis of behavioristic learning theory based on John 4:1-42 and its application in Christian religious education

    Behavioristic learning theory is often ignored in the learning process to form student behavior. This is caused by the cognitive target or academic value of a student expected by educators. In addition, the lack of stimulants (stimuli) from an educator in terms of conveying learning material and new things that are raised will affect a student's less-than-optimal response. To carry out this research, the researchers used library research methods. Literature research is research that analyzes literary sources which are then included in this study. The purpose of this research is to understand and apply behavioristic learning theory based on John 4:1-42 in Christian Religious Education. It can be argued that behavioristic learning theory based on John 4:1-42 consists of encouragement from the Lord Jesus Christ for the Samaritan woman so that the Samaritan woman's response is very positive and maximal which results in changes in her behavior and that of others. Through this research, it can contribute to improving new learning systems to achieve the learning objectives of Christian religious education in shaping the character of students so that learning can be more enjoyable
