    Inquiry Approach to Learning Can Be Applied in Christian Education Classroom

    Inquiry approach to learning is one of the result of the paradigm shifts in education which had started in the early 1980. In spite of the bebefits of the inquiry approach to learning, many teachers/educators who apply teacher-centered learning are reluctant to apply it in their classrooms. They prefer to teaching using the lecturing method instead. The inquiry approach to learning is more beneficial to students than the lecturing method. Formerly the inquiry approach was only applied in natural science classes, but later on and up to now. It has been used in social science classes as well. Religion in classified as a branch of social studies, thus the inquiry approach to learning can also be used in Christian Education clasess. Based on the argument in this articles, the writer aim to show that applying the inquiry approach to learning in the Christian education classroom will give benefits to students as their performences will be improved and most of all. They will change from passive disinterested learners to active self motivated and self directed learners. As a result, the students will have deeper understanding about anything to discussed

    Pembenaran oleh iman adalah kebenaran yang amat mendasar dalam pengajaran iman Kristen. Rasul Paulus menguraikan dengan luas dalam sebelas pasal pertama surat Roma. Walaupun demikian, dampak pembenaran ini bersifat luas, baik teologis maupun dalam kehidupan praktis. Tujuan dan masalah yang ingin dibahas melalui tulisan ini ialah apa dampak praktis pembenaran oleh iman dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya di tengah pergumula pandemic Covid-19? Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, penulis akan menggali teks Roma 5:1-21. Eksegesis Roma 5:1-21 akan diuraikan ke dalam dua perikop besar yaitu Roma 5:1-11 dan Roma 5:12-21 dalam kaitan konteks dekat, konteks jauh dan studi kata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembenaran oleh iman menjadi kebenaran obyektif yang mengokohkan iman percaya sehingga menghadirkan damai sejahtera yang dialami secara subyektif di tengah penderitaan

    Di zaman serba modern ini setiap kita merasakan kemajuan teknologi yang begitu canggih. Bahkan kecanggihan teknologi ini membuat beberapa orang lebih terlihat sibuk dan memperdulikan kepentingannya sendiri. Kesibukan terhadap diri sendiri bisa terlihat pada generasi yang sangat erat hubungannya dengan kemajuan zaman ini. Dalam hal kepiawaian menggunakan teknologi, Gen-Z tidak diragukan lagi. Namun dalam sisi lainnya Gen-Z mengalami krisis di beberapa aspek kehidupan mereka. Generasi ini sudah berada di komunitas gereja dan dalam aspek apa saja generasi ini mengalami hambatan atau kesulitan. Misalnya, pertumbuhan iman mereka, cara mereka berinteraksi dengan komunitasnya. Artikel ini mencari jawaban tentang bagaimana Gen-Z bertumbuh secara harmoni dalam komunitas mereka berada. Sehingga membantu para Hamba Tuhan yang melayani Gen-Z di masa modern ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah guna mengevaluasi fenomena karunia karunia Roh Kudus yang menjadi dasar pelayanan Gereja Beth-El Tabernakel di pedesaan era tahun 1970 dan banyak jiwajiwa dimenangkan bagi Kristus.     Today, many Christian families face a variety of problems, which are problems within the family that affect all aspects of life, such as the economy, education, health, children's problems, and various other problems that arise in daily life. Families experiencing problems in their lives often divorce, with obvious consequences for all family members. The absence of Christ's honour and love in a family, even if they are Christians, will cause wounds to their husbands, wives, and children. The Christian family is truly populated by sinners. However, these households are also places where family members recognise that they are sinners and understand the problems that will arise as a result of their sin. It takes realisation that the Christian family needs God to intervene in its household and prevent problems from disrupting their harmony, which will ultimately result in losing Christ. It is imperative to involve God in the household that God has joined together so that families who face problems every day can resolve them according to the truth of God's Word and restore their family harmony

    This journal explores the suitability of the pneumatology of Amos Yong's religionum as a foundation in inter-religious conversations related to the praxis of the existence of GBI Rayon-19, West Sumatra, which is in the midst of the majority of believers in Indonesia, who have experienced trauma due to the burning of places of worship by the masses who did not want any Christian worship in the area. The method used in this research is descriptive narrative sourced from books and journals, as well as interviews with key figures of GBI Rayon-19, West Sumatra. The conclusion of the researcher is that in the end, the pneumatology theology with the praxis of hospitality is appropriate and applicable to the existence of "missio Dei" GBI Rayon-19, which radiates God's Love as the foundation in inter-religious conversation among followers of other faiths in West Sumatra

    Preaching the Gospel is the great commission of the Lord Jesus and Christians are obliged to carry it out, but in reality there are still many Christians who have not preached the gospel, the reason is that there are many challenges that must be faced. The Apostle Paul gave a good effort in 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12 in preaching the gospel therefore, this study aims to determine the level, dominant dimension and dominant background in determining the confirmation of the Apostle Paul's teaching about preaching the gospel based on 1 Thessalonians 2: 1-12 among members of the Beth-el Tabernacle Church in Boyolali district. This study uses quantitative methods, data obtained from library sources and distributed questionnaires. The results show that the level of confirmation of the Apostle Paul's teaching about preaching the gospel based on 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12 among the Beth-el Tabernacle Church congregations in Boyolali district is in the medium category, the dominant dimension determines the level of confirmation of the Apostle Paul's teaching about preaching the gospel based on 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12 among the Beth-el Tabernacle Church congregations in Boyolali district is the commitment to preach the gospel and the most dominant background determines the level of confirmation of the Apostle Paul's teaching about preaching the gospel based on 1 Thessalonians 2:1-12 among the Beth-el Church congregations. el Tabernacle in Boyolali Regency is the length of time he has been a congregation

The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The result of this study is that the early church was more conspicuous in carrying out the Great Commission even though it faced heavy challenges but remained brave and resolute.     Assessing the Mandarin Language Lecturers’ TPACK in Malang City

    As a teacher in the 21st century, it is important to have knowledge and skills in utilizing technology in the learning process, according to the curriculum, and to be able to use appropriate teaching strategies that match the characteristics of each student. This article aims to measure the Mandarin language lecturers' proficiency in the city of Malang in mastering the TPACK concept in the learning process. This research is a quantitative study that uses survey methods, with questionnaire and interview instruments. The respondents are Mandarin language lecturers in Malang. Based on the results of this study, the majority of Mandarin language lecturers have moderate TPACK knowledge (78%), with 14% in the high group and 7% in the low group. The implication of this research is the need to enhance the TPACK skills of Mandarin language instructors in Malang's higher education institutions to improve their professional development in integrating technology with effective Mandarin language learning materials and strategies
