    Efficacy: Can It Improve Students' Learning Achievement

    Education is one of the needs that is needed by every individual and is a very important thing, because education has an important role and has a big impact on human life. In the world of education, of course, it cannot be separated from various problems which certainly require an answer as a solution to existing problems. One of the topics of discussion in the world of education at this time is regarding the nature of self-efficacy or self-efficacy that exists in students. According to several journals, several studies have been conducted on self-efficacy in students and the results found that self-efficacy has a significant impact on students, both in terms of thinking patterns, ways of learning and doing assignments, and influencing student learning outcomes. In addition, self-efficacy plays an important role for each individual, so that they are able to discover and develop their potential (Rustika 2012). Even though this self-efficacy has a positive impact on student learning outcomes, in reality not all students have this self-efficacy themselves. Because of that, another party is needed to generate self-efficacy in a student. Therefore, this paper discusses "Self efficacy: can it increase student achievement?

    Student fellowship and discipleship play a significant role in increasing Christian students' learning interest. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of student fellowship and discipleship strategies in building learning motivation through spiritual and academic approaches. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies within Christian student groups in schools and church communities. The findings reveal that student fellowship creates a collaborative learning environment, while discipleship provides personal mentoring to strengthen students' character and sense of responsibility. Group discussions, communal prayers, and structured mentoring have proven effective in enhancing both learning interest and spiritual maturity among students. The discussion emphasizes the integration of faith-based values into the learning process as a holistic and effective approach.     The testaments of the kingdom of heaven and Jesus Christ must be delivered to all people around the world because the Lord Jesus Christ came to the world to save people from demise. The right teaching method can have a great impact on servants of God in delivering and teaching the testament of the kingdom of heaven. These methods can help God's people resolve their problems by learning and teaching God's words. If we look at the Gospel of Mark, we see that the Lord Jesus Christ taught in a very compelling way, which attracted many people to listen to His teaching. As educators, they should emulate the way the Lord Jesus taught. This must be done so that their lessons can have a significant impact on the people they teach. The Bible provides a wealth of information on the teachings taught by the Lord Jesus Christ. The teachings taught by the Lord Jesus Christ always fulfill the needs of His disciples. Scholarly research on the Gospel of Mark found various methods of Jesus' teaching, including discussions, parables, questions and answers, props, and lectures. Every educator, teacher, lecturer, and servant of God of the Pentecostal Messenger Church in Indonesia Region IX Sekadau Regency can use all five of Jesus' teaching methods in the education process, especially in churches and theological schools. Jesus, as a great teacher, has demonstrated an innovative way to teach. He used varied learning methods. So that the growing of faith can be achieved optimally, Christian education in the Church can use Jesus' teaching methods in a way that suits the congregation's circumstances

    Hidup manusia dalam ajaran Gereja Katolik memiliki nilai yang mulia dan suci. Hal ini didasarkan pada keyakinan bahwa manusia diciptakan oleh Allah sesuai dengan gambar dan rupa-Nya. Oleh karena itu, kehidupan dipandang sebagai anugerah yang harus dihormati dan dilindungi, sehingga segala bentuk penolakan terhadap kehidupan (termasuk bunuh diri) merupakan penolakan terhadap anugerah ilahi. Namun, realitas tragis dan kompleks fenomena bunuh diri membuat Gereja Katolik tidak dapat tetap diam dan kaku dalam ajarannya, melainkan mengambil sikap tegas dan solutif dengan membuka diri terhadap beberapa disiplin ilmu terkait seperti psikologi, kedokteran, dan sosiologi, namun tetap mempertahankan nilai luhur kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif ajaran Gereja Katolik tentang bunuh diri, dengan menelusuri akar teologisnya dalam pandangan manusia sebagai ciptaan yang mulia dalam gambar Allah (imago Dei), perkembangannya secara historis dari zaman kuno hingga era modern, dan penerapannya dalam dokumen Magisterium seperti Evangelium Vitae dan Katekismus Gereja Katolik. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur digunakan untuk mendukung penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya ketegangan antara ajaran tradisional dan belas kasihan pastoral, respons Gereja Katolik dengan memberikan aplikasi praktis, penafsiran ulang nilai kehidupan dalam konteks penderitaan, integrasi wawasan psikologis ke dalam teologi moral Katolik, serta tantangan dan peluang dalam masyarakat pluralistik

    Pelayanan penginjilan yang berdampak tidak hanya bergantung pada strategi komunikasi Injil, tetapi juga pada pendekatan relasional yang kontekstual dan berpusat pada kasih. Artikel ini mengkaji penerapan Caring System sebagai bentuk konkret dari Harvest Theology, yaitu teologi penuaian yang menekankan partisipasi aktif umat percaya dalam menggarap ladang misi melalui kasih dan kepedulian pastoral. Dengan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dan pendekatan teologis-pastoral, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai-nilai kasih, empati, dan pendampingan rohani dalam Caring System dapat diintegrasikan dalam pelayanan gereja sebagai strategi untuk membawa jiwa kepada Kristus. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Caring System bukan hanya mendukung proses penginjilan secara emosional dan spiritual, tetapi juga memfasilitasi pertumbuhan rohani berkelanjutan melalui relasi yang bermakna dan komunitas yang mendukung. Oleh karena itu, integrasi Caring System dan Harvest Theology menjadi model pelayanan yang transformatif dalam konteks misi kekinian

    Tulisan ini membahas bagaimana gereja dapat mengakomodasi upacara adat Suku Tengger, khususnya upacara unan-unan, dalam konteks kontekstualisasi Injil Kristen. Upacara unan-unan yang melibatkan roh leluhur dan sesaji sering kali bertentangan dengan ajaran Kristen, namun gereja dapat menggunakan pendekatan kontekstualisasi Injil untuk tetap relevan dengan budaya setempat tanpa mengorbankan iman Kristen. Kontekstualisasi Injil adalah usaha untuk menyampaikan pesan Kristen dengan cara yang menghormati budaya lokal, melalui adaptasi bentuk ibadah atau penggunaan simbol lokal yang menggambarkan ajaran Kristen. Dengan cara ini, gereja dapat menginjili masyarakat Tengger secara lebih efektif, menghindari sinkretisme, dan menjaga kebenaran ajaran Injil

    Di era digital, perkembangan gadget telah berdampak signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan umat manusia.  Gadget juga memberi dampak negatif pada kehidupan rohani orang percaya, terutama di kalangan jemaat Gen-Z GKII Pintu Elok Nanga Pinoh Kalimantan Barat.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus untuk menggambarkan secara sistematis dan faktual mengenai dampak positif dan negatif gadget terhadap spiritualitas jemaat Gen-Z berdasarkan Kolose 2:6–8". Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gadget berdampak secara positif untuk kegiatan rohani Gen-Z, serta dampak negatif bagi kehidupan akademis, moral, sosial dan rohani Gen-Z. Peneliti juga menemukan pendeta (Gembala Sidang) dan Badan Pengurus Jemaat (BPJ), guru dan orang tua perlu memiliki pemahaman dan strategi pelayanan rohani yang menyasar kebutuhan serta pergumulan rohani Gen-Z di era digital

    Implementation of Christian religious education still lacks creativity in rural schools. Inland schools are an important asset for the nation's progress. The spearhead of the nation is education itself. This research aims to provide solutions for schools in rural areas to implement relevant and creative Christian religious education. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, and then the researcher interviewed one of the educators who teaches at SDN 26 Simpang Hulu, West Kalimantan. The results of the research found that (i) an educator's creativity provides a strong impetus for existing learning, (ii) Educators must also teach with a contextual approach, not just a textual one, and (iii) Implementation of Christian religious education can be carried out if an educator can provide learning without the existence of a GAP or dividing wall

    Nubuatan nabi Yesaya bagi Raja Ahas dalam Yesaya 7:10-25 perihal Imanuel menjadi polemik bagi kebanyakkan gereja pada kekristenan masa kini. Perdebatan tentang siapakah Imanuel yang sebenarnya, masih mengawang di hadapan beberapa teolog. Namun, tanpa disadari Raja Ahas menjadi tokoh utama yang menciptakan atau memicu terwahyukannya nubuat tentang Imanuel tersebut. Nubuatan Yesaya kerap langsung atau spontan dihubungkan dengan penggenapan di Perjanjian Baru. Namun, dalam artikel ini, penulis mencoba mengulik kembali kisah raja Ahas dalam eksposisi ayat yang direinterpretasikan. Analisis dilakukan dengan tinjauan historis, konteks dan gramatika.     Character formation has become a central focus of education, particularly in the modern era marked by complex moral and social challenges. Christian values—such as love, integrity, responsibility, and respect for others—play a crucial role as the foundational basis for shaping students' character. This study aims to analyse the application of Christian values in character development and their impact on students’ personal, social, and spiritual lives. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were gathered through interviews, observation, and literature review. The findings reveal that the integration of Christian values in education—through moral-based curricula, the example set by teachers, and the presence of Christian communities—contributes significantly to the formation of students who are ethical, responsible, and possess integrity. Furthermore, these values empower students to act as agents of change within society. This study affirms the importance of value-based Christian education in cultivating morally grounded individuals who remain relevant in navigating the complexities of the modern era
